There were some small niggles but I bought bikes twice as much which got more bad points than this. I did not get it to zero and I did a ride of 265km at least! So more than enough range!

Don't sell us older riders short. I bought a '22 Enfield Classic 350 new in '22 and absolutely love it. That coming off an '06 CBR1000RR. Have more than 250,000 and 40 years on sport bikes and all of a sudden the smaller cc bikes are just more of a pleasure to ride. The Super Meteor will definately be my next bike. Own a Meteor 350 , love it to bits... Test rode the Super meteor yesterday.... It was lovely, sadly i cant afford it... No sweat. The 350 is ideal for north Thailand 🎉

I currently ride a Suzuki GT 1000. And now I've hit my '50s. I just feel like I want to sit back and enjoy the ride and relax and not worry about doing 150 mph everywhere, so I am greatly looking at the royal Enfield super meteor. It just looks comfortable. Fuel efficient. Easy going and looks like I could quite easily still travel a thousand miles on it and be happy. This is one of the better reviews and also it has some really nice cheese!

This bike wins me over more w/every review. Sat on it when they first arrived, but it was so much beefier in every way compared to my CBR300R. Couldn't gel. I felt so tiny on it. But with a season slipping under my belt, the Honda is now feeling small/ lacking power Time to revisit. Get down with the cruiser life. If still on the fence, GT650. For certain a RE is in my future.
Just for a quick info some countries have limits on cc power for first time or new bike riders 650 is Max so likely 648 just swims under Max with a margin of safety for certification to approved lams vehicles

Door drukte heb ik er nog maar 375km op gereden en mijn vrouw nog ietsje minder maar elke km was genieten. Ik ben er nog niet over uit of ik er een scherm op wil. Had ik wel op mijn HD en daar reed ik altijd met vizier open en zonder oordoppen. Nu moet het vizier altijd dicht en wel doppen in tegen het wind geruis. Koffers wil ik er eigenlijk nog wel op hebben. Btw. De usb aansluiting achter de linker deksel werkt perfect. Mijn Garmin heb ik gevoed via een kabel in de koplamp. 😎
The music 💀💀💀😂😂😂. But pretty great review. RE should definitely focus on 650s and bigger capacity bikes specially for western/European markets, especially the US since big bikes sell well there.
The dials/guages, (dash) seem to split a lot of peoples opinions. I know you say in this video you say what’s there is sufficient but do you think that perhaps lifting the dial/guage set up on the Himalayan, and putting on this bike might work for those riders who do like a little more info ?
It's a fantastic looking bike. It's about the same money as a 6 year old 883 iron. I thought at one point i would definitely get one. But then i decided i wanted to downsize and get a lighter bike. Plus I'm moving and I'll no longer have a garage and this bike is too nice to be left outside.
I haven't bought the new bike yet. For a long while I was set on the Hunter 350. But I think I might wait for the Triumph Speed 400. I rang up the dealer and they said they expect them in January. Longer than I wanted to wait but I think it's the ideal bike for me.
how much would you range the fuel consumption? also i red about service intervals being at about 5000km , which is too often if you ask me. Also, are there any vibrations through the pegs/handlebars after certain rpm?
I'm waiting for RE to produce their KX 838 'Bobber', it is based on the RE's 1938 KX 1140, but it has modern styling. It's 838cc liquid cooled V-twin motor produces 90 hp and 100 Nm of torque, so it is almost twice as powerful as the Super Meteor 650. I'm sure that if Royal Enfield produced the KX 838 'Bobber' it would be an instant hit in Europe.
Hi Droommotor - lovely video, sorry you didnt get your Gouda cheese. (Spoiler alert) I am a 350 meteor owner and utterly love it. Am considering this 650 too. Two comments for you .. having used the Tripper for a year its fine if your going from city to city - but if you are navigating to a street in a busy area its positively useless. Also the USB power supply doesnt have enough power to keep an iphone navigating. It will just die eventually. Otherwise great bikes.
Sorry, but the RE SM has a slipper clutch. And to answer your question about displacement volume... every real biker knows that a lot country's have different licence class and that 650cc is a LIMIT. So thatbis why manifacturers stay UNDER that number. You see, i am no attention seeker or "reviewer", but i have knowledge. How can you even THINK about 74hp? Means that you have no feeling with numbers and specs. Sorry again.

On specs reading are different opinions, some people say that you can also read them on Google, how the specs translate to real world riding is what matters. The music at the beginning was a joke to catch people their attention (which worked) thanks for the feedback!

It's not your right. These are fanboys that like this bike. I have an Int650 and that engine is passable(same engine) this bike weighs 60 to 70lbs more.
I will never understand why people think this is a good bike. That engine is way too weak for a bike that weighs 60lbs+ than the twins. It's nice looking, and that's it.
Yes, I’ve ridden both. It’s an okay engine for the int or gt. The horse power vs weight ratio is awful. To me buying this bike is like buying a bike from Amazon. It serves no purpose other than eye candy and for 20% more you can get a better new cruiser.
Don't know if this comment is just click bait but every thing that is said about this bike apart from the good looks is made up in his mind . Try the bike and you will feel the torque and acceleration can be quite exiting, helped along with a dna filter.
Not everything has to be about power and speed. Comfort, ease to control, smoothness, etc are also why many people bike and enjoy this motorbike in particular 😊

This kind of turn-by-turn navigations existed way before tripper. Like Beeline. You can buy it as a single item.
