That's a bittersweet day, every year that passes. But she didn't suffer long. She had fallen, was admitted to the hospital, and passed away three days later. And that felt as though I was numb and I couldn't understand how she was doing great, then tripped and fell, and was gone. Life is very precious and I live each day to it's fullest.
Ive been an Elvis fan for 55 years now and what the RPO have done with these numbers on this album is nothing short of remarkable. You can still listen to the original recordings but to have this album in the collection is fantastic! I can't stop playing it! The great thing with Presley was that he could take any classic number and make it his very own such as this one. As Michael Buble says Elvis is without a doubt the world greatest recording artist and I have to agree with him!
As a proud Whooligan, you may wish to listen to The Who's "Real Good Looking Boy." It is the best use of a homage to EP in the middle of the song with Pete's beautiful lyrics.
