You mentioned vibrarise on this device but I’m pretty sure this product doesn’t have that. It’s just the standard clip in mop pad but it doesn’t have the Vibrarise technology. At least according to their website. This advertises basic moping attachment while the S7/8 line and maybe others specifically mention having vibrarise. Vibrarise includes vibration and self rising on carpet so I’m fairly sure the Q8 Max doesn’t have that. Just thought I’d mention that to avoid confusion.
You are right. I made a mistake of assuming that its just the name of the mopping system and i sincerely apologize for my mistake.. Ill be sure to add it into captions to avoid confusion
Hello, congratulations for the presentation! I have a problem with mine, of course responsible for that it's me and NOT the vacuum cleaner. The problem is that the vacuum cleaner pulled into and wrapped up fishing line (many,many meters). Brushes is Ok , but wheels have a problem.Fishing line wrapped up around the axis and i don't know how to take it off. Any idea;;;
bro ., please give me some advice buy q8 max or add more 100$ to s8 basic? orrr save 100$ less for s7? which one is the best choice for this case? for my first robot (moping and vacuum)
Hi, thanks very much for the video. I'm considering buying it and this is very helpful. May I just have a few questions... Does the mop lift up automatically when it detects carpets? And is it possible to switch off the mop function completely? Sometimes I want the robot to only hoover, not mop. And can I put some floor cleanser liquid into the water tank together with water? Thank you
Hi thank you for your kind words. The mop does lift automatically when it detects a carpet so don't worry about your carpet getting wet. You can turn off mop function in the app settings where you can see your map of your house , bottom right if i remember correctly. You cannot put floor cleaning liquid into the vacuum as the foaming and bubbles can seep into sensitive parts of the vacuum and cause damage.
Hi Guys, I have this product and after some period of usages, there is moss in the water tank. Any idea how to get rid of them? Thank you and much appriciated.
Though I have never encountered moss in my water tank, you can consider soaking with vinegar as it has the acetic acid content to effectively kill moss. Fill it with some vinegar, give it a rigorous shake and it should work.
Im trying to gauge if I should get the Q revo with the dust bin or just the Q8 max. the difference is almost $400 where I live I just dont see the difference with having the dust bin
The only problem I have with the robot is the object detection system, the camera system in other irobots works better for this but I understand the privacy concerns. Hopefully it improves a little later with the firmware.
In my opinion, all these mopping functions is just self-cheating. If the mop doesn't clean itself during mopping, this is just smashing the dirt all over the floor. Mopping should look like in Karcher FC7 (manual mopping device): rinsing with a fresh water, and tank for the dirty water.
imagine a wet cloth you use to wipe across a dirty floor by hand, that is the use of the robot vacuum. It's only still ideal for apartments but not a large house, but my advice is to clean that mop brush every 2 sessions to keep it clean and efficient
@@ZenTheGeek i have a Q8 max+ model. How do you empty the water tank?. Coz i have tried once to empty the water by opening the inlet. But some water still stays back. Please help

You don't always need the latest tech for vacuums, I'd take S7 and save the money to be honest

Hello - any tips on how I get to the LiDAR sensor? I can’t find a TH-cam video on disassembly anywhere for the Q8
Im trying to gauge if I should get the Q revo with the dust bin or just the Q8 max. the difference is almost $400 where I live I just dont see the difference with having the dust bin
you dont need the dustbin you can empty it yourself easily
Ngl, you should just empty it yourself. You will need to maintain both the robot and the auto emptying station if you get the auto emptying station.
The only problem I have with the robot is the object detection system, the camera system in other irobots works better for this but I understand the privacy concerns. Hopefully it improves a little later with the firmware.
Hopefully! So far it avoided 2/3 shoes for me its not perfect for sure
Is this good for thick Moroccan Beni Ouarain wool carpets? 😅

very nice review, thanks!
Around 8:00. It also works with Alexa.
Well yes, but I didn't mention it because Alexa isn't supported in my country, malaysia
Thanks so much for this! The instructions from Roborock are greatly lacking!
glad to have helped!
@ I’ve run the vacuum twice now and was floored by how much dust and debris was on my “ clean” floors. 🤣
Where is the reset button on the Q8 Max+?
Open the top lid it's in there buddy
Q8 model there is no top lid?how to reset
What do you call an automated rock? A Roborock.
