This is my Reminiscence Patchouli Fragrance Review. One that both Dalya and I have been fans of forever. But today it's a full review Reminiscence Patchouli perfume. The original and from 1990. Even though Reminiscence Patchouli is targeted to the ladies but it's quite unisex leaning. Great one, I really love it. I have been wearing it for years now. Available here in Spain, easy to find, and not expensive. One of my winter favorites, along Psycodelique from Yovoy and Ambre Fetiche, even though, in the south of Spain, winter is really short.
That does it, you guys pushed me over the edge. I've been looking to add Reminiscence Patchouli ever since I watched your Top 20 Patchouli video. While watching or listening to this review I hopped over to the one website I found that carries this and bought a 100ml bottle. I also have Jovoy Psychédélique based on your recommendations and it was an instant love for me.

Before I got into niche perfumes, Reminiscence's Patchouli was my signature scent. I felt it completely represented me and smelled outerwordly great. I still have that same bottle which I think is even older that the one Dalya mentioned with the stars. Mine is a light colored bottle with golden stars and other embellisments. Later on I found a great deal on the Elixer (parfum) and the original one (eau de toilette) in the new bottles and bought them both.

I love Serge Lutens Borneo 1834 and especially Bois 1920 Real Patchouly - I hated this one at first and now I have a full bottle. Please try it!
Earthy, woody, hint of moldy library books, chocolatey... it's just the best Patchouli ever,, a star!! I'm completely addicted 🙂🙂

I know exactly what the lady means when she talks about PRESENCE. It absolutely attracts attention and in my opinion it's a "boss" fragrance if that makes sense.

This slightly reminds me of the current reformulation of Youth-Dew on the dry down, so much labdanum/balsamy goodness, and also Obsession by CK. This is 100 times better than CK Obsession, but it reminds me of it. Very delicious! I bought a tester, love it, want a back up and everywhere is sold out!

I'm looking to fill the patchouli hole in my collection. Is Reminiscence Patchouli the way to go as I do like chocolatey patchoulis or would you recommend something else? I want something patchouli as the main note. I have Hindu Grass which is patchouli and vetiver but it's the herbal patchouli and vetiver is dominant. Thanks you two, love you both together!

I own and love Patchouli pour Homme, the older version, but oddly enough, I don't know the pour Femme one. I can easily wear the pour Homme one, so I wonder if/how different they are.
There is 200 ml bottle that I bought a few weeks ago from Israeli retailer. Its new design bottle, no stars, juice is dark. looks the same as Sebastian holding, just bigger. I love it. I would buy 500 ml if I could.
Hi Sebastian, hi Dalya :) I really like Prada Amber pour femme, and I'm looking for something similar. Do you think that Reminiscence Patchouli could be enjoyable for someone who likes the amber/patchouli accord? I have to say that I don't like patchouli as a dominant, strong note, but I like the elegant, quite sweet amplification that it gives when not too back in the pyramid. Great video!
I wear Prada Amber femme and I use I don't know what as a base. It is so sexy
What is the difference between Patchouli and Patchouli pour homme? My bottle and juice is clear and UNGODLY strong. It says mine had lime and a few other things. When I spray, I get a bad headache. I almost threw it away. I tried it again about 3weeks later and forced myself not to wash it off...OMG I am so glad I didn't throw it away!!!!! It went beautiful and floral. Just saw the rest of your video..now I understand. My starts out completely earthy and harsh...almost fecal. Then it went slightly floral (but not in a feminine way).
That syrupy vanilla can give of a gourmand feel like baking a cake or pancakes
I was lucky to score a 200ml bottle of this for less than $60. I only ever need 1-2 sprays though so it may last a few generations!

As a long-time patchouli lover, I don't know why I haven't pulled the trigger on this one yet. I own SMN's Patchouli, LA's Patchouli Patch, and Montale's Patchouli Leaves. I don't think Reminiscence's Patchouli is a blind buy though but if it's anything like the elegant Ambre, I'd probably love it.

I don;'t remember the elixir sadly but all of them are great for the patchouli lover for sure! Some of those sites should be safe as I just looked and they all are sites I have at one point or another purchased from in the past! :)

Started off as not a big fan of patchouli (couldn’t get past the 70s hippy association) but began to appreciate it when I tried l’Artisan Patchouli Patch. Latest buy was a 30ml decant of Jovoy Psychadelique, which I really like. Have not tried this one.

For me, it is the same as V CANTO "Mea Culpa" and extremely cheap masterpiece "Patchouli Magique" Parfum Nouvelle Etoile 1864. I have all of them and actually, I have a problem to choose which one of them to use. #patchhoes

This one is gorgeous and I wear it often. Goes in the direction of Psychedelique in the dryness of the Patchouli but is not as boozy and doesn’t have this wonderful sweetness either. Love it though!
Small edit: after two hours the Musc comes strong together with the vanilla, and I pick up hints of Musc Ravageur. Anyone has the same experience?
The reminiscence one is boozier and sweeter? Or were you saying the opposite
@@aquababy5 The opposite. Psychedelique also has this dark chocolate vibe which together with the boozy touch and vanilla makes me think of a chocolaty digestif.
