The item is held slightly away from the face and little lower than the nostril with a gentle wave over the tea allowing the air to bring the scent to you. I agree with you regarding the garden, it is nice to be surrounded by so much greenery and gardening helps one get back to nature and appreciate it more. It would be nice to see you pottering around in the garden, perhaps when you purchase your pots you can show us what you will be doing with them (or planting in them). Beautiful vacation spot Nicolas. I noticed when you were sitting by the water with the rocks behind you, the waves were coming from two directions. I have never seen that before. Some waves were flowing toward your back and the other waves were flowing toward the sandy beach. Is that normal in that area? Gorgeous scenery. Must felt like being in paradise. Are there any dangerous wildlife or plants ie: poisonous snakes, scorpions or spiders you have to be aware of there? Thank you for sharing. Wonderful video!

Definitely given me the desire to visit Sri Lanka! So funny; those crazy drivers are everywhere. I've had many a similar encounter in Asia or the Caribbean when you end the day feeling happy to still be alive. And yes, I can confirm Nicolas, that they are stories you laugh about later, even if it can be terrifying at the time!
We was considering trip to Sri Lanka when decided we will do an Amazon and Peru first….lock down has demolished our trip, and it was all cancelled. Hoping it will happen again one day… lovely vlog, would love to see the interiors of the hotels and places. But understand you also have to relax. I was wondering if you can do some Middle East cooking on a Chanel….made from produce bought out there. Looking forward to your next vlog 😀

About learning a new language : I agree with you that is more fun to travel in foreign country when you can understand and, if possible, speak the language of the country. I live in Montreal (Québec) where the official language is french, and i feel so sad to see around me so many students (from Canada, United States and elsewhere) who don't even understand « Bonjour » or « Merci ». As I live with my English bulldog around McGill University, we must speak english very often, everyday, even if my english is very poor... I had a wonderfull friend who was livig in London, UK ; we were always speaking french together, because, as he said, he was the one who contacted me, knowing that I was a french speaking person. This friend had a special way to speak and write in french, but everyone was able to understand what he was saying. This friend died, at 27, and after he was gone, some of his best friend started to write to me (in french) to talk about our wonderful friend. This friend had an English bulldog and, knowing that he was going to die, his biggest concern or worry was that he was leaving his bulldog behind. Because this friend and I were always talking about his bulldog, like we would do about a special person, I had to adopt an English bulldog, who is a star in my neighbourhood. So I try to learn a good english, hoping that I could fly to London some day, see England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales... But I would not leave my bulldog because he never has been left with anyone without me. With a good english, I would like to learn a good italian (I could have a basic conversation or listen to a film in italian, but I would like to spend some time in Italy some day... Maybe in an another life.
