Laura all summer: I don’t know how anything is going to turn out.. the soil looks so bad. Laura all fall: I’m so amazed at how great the soil has done! Honestly though, it has been the most fun few months watching you enjoy and execute this vision for the new space! I totally feel like I’ve been part of the process and your joy in Benjamin’s joy is so relatable! So happy for you and grateful to share with you through these videos!
Pumpkin picking is my favorite time of year! On the east coast the colors of fall combined with wandering through a glorious pumpkin patch makes me smile! 😻😍❤️
Never had a true appreciation for pumpkins until this year when you planted your crop. This was so much fun to watch! As someone else mentioned, I see you do it and I say to myself "I want to do that"! Can't wait to see how you decorate with your stash.
What fun!! I never doubted for a second that your harvest would be so beautiful. I love all of the varieties. You have a natural green thumb. When you first started harvesting I was like WHERE is Benjamin, he would get such a kick out of helping. I’m glad we got to see his excitement. Can’t wait to see how you decorate this year. Thank you for letting us into your lives.
That had to be one of my most favorite videos!!!! I loved seeing all the different varieties and think you picked some of the best varieties to grow. So showy! Benjamin was so cute! He and Russel just topped off the video! Look forward to see them decorated around the property!
Your excitement is contagious (and adorable) as is Benjamin's. I'm sure I'm among many that are trying to figure out where they can plant some pumpkins and squash in their landscape/yard next year.
I’ve been anticipating this video, since you planted those seeds. My hubby mentioned we need to grow some next year for the grandkids. This is all good info, thanks 😊
A great harvest of gourds! That garden sure did thrive well! And...How adorable is Benjamin! Such a sweet and helpful little boy. He’s going to make a great Big Brother!
How fun!!! It took me back to my childhood, my children’s time and now my grandchildren’s time with pumpkins. Watching your pumpkins and squash grow has been great!!
Wow Laura ! That's a super harvest! 😀 and the variety is amazing. I've seen many of them for the first time. Would u be cutting any of those? Would be fun to see the color of the flesh. I'm wondering how the pink ones would be from inside. White, yellow, orange?
Thank you for such a cheerful, uplifting, joyful video. I look forward to each and everyone, this was especially delightful. Some of my favorites and some I plan to plant next year are: - One Too Many - Flat Stackers - Porcelain Dolls (my #1) - Quaker Pie - Jarrahadale - Kogigu Loved seeing the family enjoying it all.
Oh my gosh, what a harvest! It's so fun to watch Benjamin with the pumpkins, he is the kindest, sweetest child, how blessed. Excited to watch your little girl grow up in the garden as well. Thank you
Aww, Loved this Soo Much. Just seeing the Big Smile on your face & how excited Benjamin was, Soo Worth All your Work!! Can't wait to see how you Decorate! Never miss an Episode. Hugs 👍❤❤❤❤
Awesome enough to watch twice! Cinderella are my favorite for the hull-less seeds! I’m watching twice because our yard guys weed whacked my pumpkin vines 3 weeks ago and they didn’t recover. I will just live vicariously through y’all! Blessings, Vicki🌸
Wow, what a harvest for your first year out there. Love that Benjamin was so excited also. All of them are my favorites. Can't wait to see how you decorate with them. Stay safe, stay well.
I was waiting for this video. So excited to see what you have out there🤩. Later edit: such an amazing harvest🤩🤩 I have never seen so many pumpkin types in one place. Can wait to see the decorating part 😆
Your enthusiasm is contagious! I felt like I was right in your pumpkin patch with you as I saw your excitement build. Your videos of something to look forward to watching. Thank you for educating, inspiring, and letting us live vicariously through you when we might not have space to plant a big vining crop. Just like Benjamin I would squeal too “ Pumpkin patch!”
So fun and so beautiful! Benjamin is absolutely adorable! Fall is my favorite season....the pumpkins, the riot of Autumn colored leaves, apple cider - love it all. Thanks for the inspiration 😊
I love those smaller “warty but not warty” green ones!!! Mixing those w the small white pumpkins would be a beautiful arrangement in a wooden dough bowl😍
This new space has been such a joy to watch and such an inspiration . I'm so thrilled for your family with your little girl on the way and this new space. And how lovely that you have these videos to look back on when the babes are growing up. Looking forward to seeing you decorate for the holidays. You have such great taste!
I’ve already forgotten the name, but the dark squash with the long stems you liked is my favorite. The green color of the stem against the dark skin - lovely contrast. And the stackers are very nice. They’re all cool though.
Absolutely love this video. I’ve always wanted to grow a pumpkin patch and think next year will be the year. Thank you for showing how easy as well as the takeaways. Couldn’t help smile and enjoy the hunt with you. Benjamin is so adorable!!!
Oh my WORD!! That is an amazing harvest of beauty! Now I’m making plans for a pumpkin patch next year. I have to say the Pipian From Tuxpan Squash is my favorite. Absolutely beautiful! I am wondering how many of these different varieties will y’all be eating and how would you prepare them? I’m a true southern girl here in Georgia and am only familiar with yellow summer squash and zucchini either sautéed or fried. I’ve always been curious of different squash like acorn and butternut but don’t know the beat way of preparing them. We would LOVE see a cooking video of you preparing your favorite dish using your plentiful bounty. Your excitement is so infectious and uplifting I find myself excited for you as you see what all your hard work has produced. Thank you so much for brightening my days.
Becky Neal I’m in Georgia too and butternut squash can grow here and is easy to cook. Cut it in half lengthwise and cook in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes or 40 minutes. Delicious!
Hello Laura, thank you for harvesting your pumpkins with us, I have been waiting for this video with great anticipation. The US celebrate autumn in the most amazing way, and because of this, I always have fond memories when I see pumpkins. My favourites are Connecticut Pumpkin and White Acorn squash. Would you be kind to show us your fall pumpkin displays in the days to come, please? Also it was lovely to see the whole family in the Pumpkin Patch.
This video was one of my all time favorites, thank you for sharing! Would you consider adding in a few gourds next year? I love growing them and they are just as much fun as pumpkins.
What an amazing harvest! And I'm so jealous of Benjamin for having his own pumpkin patch.I honestly don't know if I could pick a favorite! I like the two different green and white marble looking ones and the Cinderella.
This is so perfect! Love just seeing all the variations together. I’m tickled with Benjamin’s excitement this year. I think the White Acorn is so cool!! Thanks for sharing!
I love them all! 🧡 I didn’t get any grown in my garden this year. They are my very favorite thing to grow. I feel like Benjamin every year and want to scream “pumpkin patch!” This year I can live vicariously through you. Thank you for sharing! 💚
I can’t wait to see your pumpkin projects! You have such a great green thumb. You should call your old garden the “estate garden”. Something a little more formal.
Congratulations on your amazing pumpkin hall. They are fantastic!! Love seeing the family and cats helping you pick... Blessings to you and your family. Xx
I think we were all waiting for this video. What an awesome harvest. I love every single pumpkin, even the ones I'd never seen before. My favorite will always be the traditional orange "Halloween" pumpkin but for decorating so many choices! I too love acorn squash that I make every Fall. Looking forward to your decorating projects with these pumpkins.
Looking forward to you growing Speckled Hound next year. Super fun markings and our favorite eating squash ever! Had it once from a farm stand and have never found it again.
Love how excited you get in every project. My favorite pumpkins are the Cinderella’s type love the white, blue and pink. Can’t wait to see you decorate of fall and use all your pumpkins. 🍂🍁
You could refer to it as “Original garden” and “New garden”. I love watching your videos you do such amazing work and your authenticity is refreshing! 💖
I bought several pumpkins this year to decorate with. I absolutely loved this video!! The excitement literally had me smiling the whole time. I love all the colors and varieties
Suggestion: plant seeds in a shortest date of maturity to the longer dates to maturity at the the other at the other end. That will help at harvest worry.
Great video and variety! Love little Benjamin's reaction...so lovely. I planted my pumpkins in May and they were ready to harvest in the first week of September, (we had an early snow that week) way too early, 5 plants took over half my garden! I got 4 really massive pumpkins called Monster and my grandkids already claimed them. LOL! And I have about 10 of another variety. We've already eaten or given away the acorn squash and spaghetti squash. Everything was so early and prolific this year. I have you to thank for that with all your tips for soil and fertilizer. On another note, I got my husband hooked on your videos and we recently started talking about selling our house and finding somewhere out in the country with more land to grow more beautiful things. (Although the mention of black widow spiders almost put me off...almost LOL!) I especially loved my tiny cut flower garden this year. We'll see, I might have a larger garden next year! Have a great day and thank you for the inspiration!
??? Decorating at your moms??? Laura, this is amazing and they’re all beautiful pumpkins! I never knew there were so many varieties...OH,maybe a pumpkin cooking video?🎃🧡🎃
Such a rich and varied harvest. Congratulations! You did a super job. In terms of spacing, I tried growing squash up sturdy trellises this year and had great results and saved a ton of space to walk between the vines.
This is beautiful!!!! Love all the color and shape variety! Question: how do you deal with squash bugs? I have tried growing pumpkins for years with no luck.
The squash bugs always get to mine too 😔 I'm thinking about INTENSLY planting some marigolds, basil, and other things that are thought to repel pests, about 1-2 months before planting the Squash, and THEN planting them, and seeing if that helps to repel them and also "hide" the scent of them.
😍😍😍😍 This is AAAAMAZING! This is my first year growing pumpkins and squash as well! I'm still waiting for one pumpkin, no clue what kind- but it was the only fruit on a 20 ft vine! Its gotten to be over a foot long so far, and still growing! Out of curiosity, bc I know I don't have the space for your haul, but how much square footage do you think your patch took up? So hard to pick a favorite. This might be my favorite (surprisingly) garden planting! I have a fair amount of space I think I can plant more squash !! Thanks Laura!
I’m learning SO MUCH from you about vegetable gardening. I’ve always grown tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers etc but this year I’ve expanded to include corn, melons, gourds and pumpkins. Since this was a garden building year things weren’t done in the right order or at the right time but I’ve learned what to improve on for next year!
“Pumpkin patch....!” I have in my mind the scene from Home Alone for some reason. But with Benjamin doing it.😆 Your family should pick a name for you garden/homestead. Like they do with a sign above the entrance to your property. Maybe a contest or input from your subscribers.
Flat stackers and Connecticut field pumpkin 🎃 are my favorite! All of these are gorgeous! So much fun watching :) glad Benjamin is loving your pumpkin patch! Can’t wait for him to start carving his own .
"I did see three black widows." And, I'm out of the squash planting game. No wonder you didn't let Benjamin among the vines too long. Can you discuss this... are black widows common in your area? Are they attracted to squash? What did you do with them after you found them? I know you were the president of the arachnid club at school so we expect a full report. BTW - I think if I saw ONE in a lifetime I would die!
Congratulations Laura! All that hot, hard work has finally paid off. ALL of them are gorgeous! I have to admit to a little gourd envy here. I just keep thinking of all the decorating I could do with some of those. 🤔 So happy things are turning out well for you. Isn't it amazing what God allows with a few seeds, some sunshine, water, and dirt? 🥰🍁☀️💧
Loved seeing Benjamin make his piles, and tossing the pumpkins to Aaron! All those beautiful squash and pumpkins from a piece of ground that was riddled with weeds and gophers just a few short months ago. I really like the variety and I think that the Flat Stacker and Cinderella are my favorite. The only thing that I did not see in the variety is the knobby kind.
Love all your pumpkins! We do all our vining crops throughout the growing season in what I call “siding”. I flip all the vines to one side of the plant to keep pathways open. It works fantastic and doesn’t hurt the plants.
Thank you so much for sharing your videos and knowledge. I am glad you shared how to tell when the squash and pumpkin are ripe. Your joy and enthusiasm are contagious and bring joy to all of us who are watching. I especially enjoyed Benjamen, what a blessing he is and I bet as he gets older he will be right in there gardening with you. My favorite was also the one that grew under the fence. Thanks for inspiring us!
Laura harvests pumpkins and squash - I want to try growing all of them; Laura unboxes succulents - I want all of them; Laura harvests peppers - I want to try growing all of them; Laura tours dahlias - I want to try all of them ... LOL

True that!! ❤️🙏👍
@@mariankay6482 I saw the baby bump too 👶
I was thinking the same thing ...
I totally agree with that ,,, great video 👦😸🎃
What an amazing harvest with some gorgeous varieties. I love how Benjamin was making his own piles 🤣
Just dig the dirt out from under the ones under the fences. And just slide them out. I like the pink and green and white ones best.
Love your enthusiasm and the “Mom” moment at the end was so sweet! It’s so cute when the little ones get it 😁
Great crop, loved all the squash.
This space has been such a pleasant surprise. I hope you get your dream heated greenhouse next season. How exciting would that be!
I just love how you get so excited about everything, color, texture, size, just every part of the growing experience.
Wow at the abundance, especially since you thought the soil was poor, just a fantastic harvest! The porcelain dolls are my favorite, sooo beautiful
What fun!! I never doubted for a second that your harvest would be so beautiful. I love all of the varieties. You have a natural green thumb. My 12 year old and I both love the Flat Stackers though they were all beautiful. Such a beautiful harvest!
Excellent piles, Benjamin! ❤️
I don't think I could pick a favorite! So many interesting ones. Benjamin was so cute with his pumpkins.

Laura next year you should try a couple of the giant pumpkin varieties. It would be fun to see how big they will grow in your new garden space
This video was one of my all time favorites, thank you for sharing! Would you consider adding in a few gourds next year? I love growing them and they are just as much fun as pumpkins.

Wow! 🎃 My favorite without a doubt is 'Porcelain Doll' 💓
Love watching Benjamin get excited!!
Towards the end of this one I will know what I need in my garden next year♥️
I think we were all waiting for this video. What an awesome harvest. I love every single pumpkin, even the ones I'd never seen before. My favorite will always be the traditional orange "Halloween" pumpkin but for decorating so many choices! I too love acorn squash that I make every Fall. 🎃 yey!! Watching from the Philippines.
Looking forward to you growing Speckled Hound next year. Super fun markings and our favorite eating squash ever! Had it once from a farm stand and have never found it again.
Linus would be very proud of this pumpkin patch! Welcome, Great Pumpkin!
Love how excited you get in every project. My favorite pumpkins are the Cinderella’s type love the white, blue and pink. Can’t wait to see you decorate of fall and use all your pumpkins. 🍂🍁
It’s so hard to choose a favourite! If it had to be only one, it would be “One Too Many”. It has great colouring, shape and texture!
I cant wait to see your porch/patio displays with all of these pumpkins. Recipes, too! How exciting!
You could refer to it as “Original garden” and “New garden”. I love watching your videos you do such amazing work and your authenticity is refreshing! 💖
Amazing! This was such a huge success for you! And we're lucky enough to get to enjoy it along with you ♥️
Good Evening from Melbourne Australia !! ..🤗🇦🇺😷
I have tried growing pumpkins for years with no luck.
www.almanac.com/pest/squash-bugs
The squash bugs always get to mine too 😔 I'm thinking about INTENSLY planting some marigolds, basil, and other things that are thought to repel pests, about 1-2 months before planting the Squash, and THEN planting them, and seeing if that helps to repel them and also "hide" the scent of them.
Creatively Candace great idea!! thanks!
You give me the greatest joy starting my day. Bless you Laura!
😍😍😍😍
This is AAAAMAZING!
Next year I will know more, and have more variety- but it will take up my entire backyard 😅😅😅
So hard to pick a favorite. This might be my favorite (surprisingly) garden planting! I have a fair amount of space I think I can plant more squash !! Thanks Laura!
Amazing production. Can all of those be eaten. Love the flat ones. Nothing better than a good squash.🍁🎃
Hi Laura! Would you be able to tell us where you got each variety? I had a few that you did and mine don't look like yours at all ☹
Watching your videos every day makes me feel happy. Thank you for being such a joy and sharing your life and work with us
Where did you order your seeds from? I’m planning a big pumpkin patch for next year.
She made a video dedicated to all the seeds she was planting. The source is there.

Fantastic harvest, so pleased for you. It’s wonderful to see so much excitement on your face Laura. Loved this video.
Me: I'm all geared up to try this for myself next year!
Laura: I found 4 black widow spiders in here this year.
Me: Hold up!
Flat stackers and Connecticut field pumpkin 🎃 are my favorite!
All of these are gorgeous! So much fun watching :) glad Benjamin is loving your pumpkin patch! Can’t wait for him to start carving his own .

Laura harvests pumpkins and squash - I want to try growing all of them; Laura unboxes succulents - I want all of them; Laura harvests peppers - I want to try growing all of them; Laura tours dahlias - I want to try all of them ... LOL
Right - I feel like my daily gardening often reflects what Laura is doing/trying/planting!
