Im so impressed with what a powerhouse woman you are! even being a mum to one with a bub on the way, you are a force to be reckoned with.
The constant uploads and work you both do, while it takes me a few days to bribe myself into weeding the garden.

Russell the meerkat! Your gardens are absolutely wonderful. To be able to feed your family so much fresh from the garden food is enviable, but I know a lot of work was involved.. Since your corn ears are small, to be sure you get full corn cobs, I would carefully cut off a couple tassels into a glass bowl and either gently shake the anthers over the newer silks coming out, or use a small paint brush to brush the powdery pollen on them. Should take less than 30 to 45 mins of your mid morning. Will definitely be worth it.

To freeze bell peppers, I just cut each one into four pieces and remove the seeds and stem. Lay out in a single layer on a cookie sheet. Freeze. Put into gallon zip lock bag. When I get ready to use them, I can pull out what I need, rinse which also thaws, and chop. Your harvest is beautiful and amazing!

So sad that we now cant send seeds from Sweden to you. I've grown the most fun pea this season called " The train driver Bergfelts gigantic pea" It's a cross between a sugar and a grey- pea. It went enormus like six to eight times bigger than an ordinary pea. It was sweet, crisp and gave a lot for us to eat. So fun for the kids too. The best pea i've ever grown. Hugs Mia in Sweden

Be carefull that you don't send seeds or plants in a country wich are not allowed there. Some plants can be invasive plants/ neophyts and there are legal things to consider. E.g. Australia has strict rules.

I noticed around 11:32 that Laura stopped using the kneeling pad. I guess she got very excited and overwhelmed with the abundant amount of beans in the ground. I am amazed at the ease in which she kneels and gets up picking out beans. In spite of the belly, she seems to carry on as she did not have one, at all. God Bless her.

A few days ago I made a mixed pickles , with cut up cucumbers, pearl onions & cauliflower, & cut up sliced carrots.
Dill pickles canned, Jenkins with the baby cucumbers, pickled onions, grapple juice, & grapple sauce, & butter.
My sister does the pickled beets, alone with the jams.
I make the 3 kinds of oranges marmalade. Navel oranges, clemetimes, & mandarin oranges. Mixing those 3 kinds of oranges together, makes a great marmalade. I even use Splenda sugar ,1/4 cup for 1 cup of regular sugar. Wow what a great combination.
My next project is zucchini & cucumber mixed sweet green relish, alongside regular sweet green number relish, & zucchini relish.
Then getting the tomatoes from my Sister 's garden. Making stewed tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, salsa,(mild), & thick.
Corn relish, pineapple salsa for using with fish, & pork chops. Might even try apricot salsa this year. Found a recipe that sounds good.
Canned pumpkin, make it with just cinnamon, & nutmeg. Can't use the ginger cause of deadly allergy. So make my baking goods without it.
The peppers I use some in my canning, the rest & cut up & freeze, & just take out what I need for each meal, then put the rest back in the freezer. That way you can keep the peppers longers. I make 3 different batches. One with the green peppers, one with the green pepoers, & then make a mixed peppers mixture when I freeze them. Just make a bunch of little freezer bags , of the peppers, & freeze. Say about 1-2 cups of peppers per bags.
I even use the cut up orange peels, & freeze it in small batches, for using in baking. Or shred them & stick in ice trays, then freeze with a little bit of water. Take them out with amount you would need for say citrus muffins, or chocolate & shredded orange peel cake or muffins. My Mom makes a beet salad with pickled beets, celery cut up fine, along with an apple, & Miracle Whip , delicious.
If you like beet soup or bortch. It is delicious. With the beets, best tops, carrots, onions, cut up fine, you can even add spinach, or kale cut up. But you need to start with either bone broth, beef broth, or vegetable broth. Then add your vegetables & tops of the vegetables . Add some Clubhouse Italian Seasoning with red lid only contains dehydrated vegetable peppers instead, of pepper spices. Which I can't have either. Add some onion powder, or salt, garlic powder or salt, a bay leaf. But the bay leaf needs to come out before serving.
When everything is cooked, add your milk, with a little corn starch, to make it a little thicker. Cooking it a a little longer until it is a little thicker.
Add a little bit of sour cream when serve it.

Laura and Aaron, thanks for making such informational garden videos! I've been watching for nearly 5 years now and I'm constantly learning. I started seeing ASMR (no words, talking or music) videos on my YT feed and found them restful and calming, particularly of garden harvests like yours (particularly footage at 4:45 and 6:36). I've seen video hosts who let the sound of vegetables hitting a bowl or the snap of stem or stalk drive the content. It seems to be a bit of visual therapy! Have you already or would you consider creating such a video for your followers?

Love Russell in all of your videos, Cheddar too when he shows up!!
You do need to freeze some zucchini for winter baking/cooking, breads, brownies, mock apple pie, and breakfast frittata are our favorites!! The mock apple pie was the big surprise this year, and friends that don't like zucchini were fooled thinking they were eating apple pie, it was great!! One crust and crumble top...will be easy way to use a bigger zucchini!! Ever tried a steam foil pocket with zucchini and mushrooms for instance? Great with chicken, pork chops, or fish!! Easy clean up too!! Hopefully if we get you enough good zucchini recipes you will enjoy it and not feed them to chickens...they can eat on the plant vines that grew the produce!! Have a great day, enjoy your videos every day a lot, has helped my gardening skills tremendously!!😉🌻🌷🌼🐈😎

    Nice harvest, Laura.
Your cats are adorable, Russell is a hoot.
There’s a homeless young yellow cat has taken up here, I couldn’t help but fed it.
We’re friends now, and my black cat, Boo, get along well.
Your new big garden is awesome.

I love watching you harvest 😍 It would be so much fun to see some cooking with the harvest. Maybe that can be something that you put out on your other channel in the fall/winter then there is not much to do outside.

Russell the Rabbit!! So cute! My sister got some huge zucchini in her green box and she made the most amazing relish!! It is so good! Great on sandwiches and burgers. Such a bountiful harvest. Great for giving away!!

You should do an overview video of how you process the various crops. I struggle with storing things as it seems like everything gets soft shortly after bringing it in so it would be nice to see how you store your massive harvests.

What a satisfying harvest. I love autumn and all it brings. Russell is so sweet 🐈
Could you please consider an update on your amaryllis? Do you cut the leaves back now? Is it a good idea to repot in fresh soil? When do you feed them and what with? Thanks for all the great videos. 🙏🏼😘

Linda, if you watch Laura on Youtu be you can put the videos in chronological order. Look for her past videos on Amaryllos. Mine is in basement now and not watering. When leaves die back cut them off and bring bulb upstairs. Don't water until it starts a flower stem.

Russell is a wonderful cat and protector. Cats stand on their hind legs to ward off predators. When they feel threatened cats tend to do this. I think he heard a noise that put him into that position. It does look cute to us though. I ❤🐱

Beautiful harvest. All your plants look amazing. No bug or heat damage. I love it. That Land and Sea must be magic stuff. We don’t have it here in central Texas yet. Come on, PW. Get us folks in Texas some! Lol. I’m discovering fall is the best type garden to have. I don’t have to deal with the hot and humid extremes we get. Canning is my favorite way to preserve right now. First, because you don’t have to depend on electricity to keep your food safe. Then, because it’s so very easy. Like those green beans, just wash and fill the jars. Same with the carrots and beets. I pickle my beets, too. Thanks for sharing. I would love to see a video of you ‘putting up’ the harvest. God bless. 👏🏻💕👏🏻

Laura, you can try harvesting the baby corns shoots for a mixed veggie stir fry. Throw in zucchini, carrots, beans with the baby corns for a quick stir fry. Use garlic and spring onions as aromatics. Delicious!

What a great harvest! You are going to be VERY busy putting up all that produce! Could you please do a less labor-intensive update on the galvanized metal containers you planted with flowers in May? It would be very interesting to see how large the plants became over the summer. Hope you are feeling well!
