      But if nintendo just downsized the image but not the text & sprites,how could it not overlap incorrectly on the graphics,also since the nes has no saperate text layer, that means that text becomes part of the background and theres no way the emulator could distinguish text from bachgrounds on it’s own so there must have been some reverse engineering going on, i just cannot imagine on AI inside an emulator wich could distinguish text from backgrounds because 1 it would be not reliable and 2 that would require wau more cpu power then the GBA could ever handle.,
      Also if nintendo did some rework, i wonder why they didn’t rework the audio too, because the audio is somewhat different and slightly off.

    • @gamegab7271
      @gamegab7271 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What's crazy is that the Classic NES Series Edition of Super Mario Bros. suffered from major screen crunching, yet it seems like the other games didn't. Otherwise, it wasn't a bad port.

      Back when life was as simple as just being a kid. The times of not having to concern yourself with the realties of adulthood and becoming immersed in your imagination and the world within the games we played. Video games bring me back to a time when life wasn't so difficult and I didn't have to go out of my way to "try to relax". Thank God for our generation's best art form. Video games. I'm looking at buying myself a PSVita soon.
      If they stopped developing games tomorrow I would still be happy to go back and play all the gems I've missed on various consoles over the years.

    I vividly remember going to the (US) website for this collection back when they were new and it had its own playlist of NES music that played while you were on the page. I think it's a big reason I'm familiar with a lot of the big songs from these today! Lovely memories :3

    3:45 also in the original Zelda 2 there's a helpful glitch that let you skip full overworld sections by encountering an enemy while you're moving to the section's tile, and surprisingly they left that intact! Pretty neat trick to get through Valley of Death near the game's last section.

    The classic Famicom series was fun(especially the Japanese boxes), but the series I love most on the GBA are the underrated Bit Generations games. Games like Dotstream and Coloris are fun, but my all time favorite is SoundVoyager, which can be played without looking at the screen. It's a work of art.

    I completed my NES Classic Series American releases last year at a game convention...I would of done it a year earlier,because I found the last one I needed, ExciteBike, and it was being sold for $5, however, my son got sick and took him home instead. Thankfully, I took him again and he didn't get sick, but I wound up paying $10...still, I felt a sense of accomplishment completing that part of my collection!

    I think Japan's Club nintendo also had the entire Japanese collection available in special boxes. I have Donkey Kong and I also got a boxed Japanese Super Mario that I bough after I saw how cool the Japanese boxes were. I have a EZ-Flash Omega and it has a built in NES emulator that can use the same techniques as Nintendo's real emulator to scale games. There is a full screen, stretched and stretched+full size sprites option.
