Agree with you about Roti King. Worth the queue. I've lived in Singapore for 26 years and this is the real deal. And as an Indian I love Dishoom. It gets a lot of criticism but they have got it right. Their small plates are great especially the keema pau. And their masala chai is the best you can get. Period.

Also agree with you about fusion restaurants - I hate that you lose the best of each half of whatever is being fused. Having said that I've tried Kiln. Their northern Thai sausage was amazing but as for the rest of it - I just don't think you can better traditional southern Thai food. I'd recommend Supawadee in Kings Cross. Like you, I love Asian food, particularly Chinese and I'd love to try Xian Impression, but as a diehard Spurs fan I can't bring myself to get that close to the A*****l stadium. If you're still in London and want to treat yourself, check out Zapote in Shoreditch. Just amazing! Oh try Laxsa's Penang Laksa too - a dish that's not easy to find - and they do it well.

Sorry, these aren’t good places to eat in London, which has many amazing places for food. Mercato Mayfair is an interesting places, but the vendors are average at best. Franco Manca isn’t good compared to many other pizzerias in London.
