These ladies are Yemeni Jews that had their families forced to leave Yemen when they were expelled in the Yehudi Nakba after the war of 1948. There were more Jewish refugees after the war of 1948 than Muslim. May peace and religious tolerance return to the Middle East, including Yemen.
Yaakov Adam it's indeed very sad and a colossal loss for Yemen to lose its unique and ancient Jewish community. In fact, Yemenite Jews are the ancestors of all Yemenis. Judaism is the first monotheist religion that was adopted by Yemenis back in time; we even had Yemenite Jewish kings. Before that we used to worship the sun ☀️. Many Yemenis are very sad to see their brethren Yemenite Jews forced to leave their native Yemen. But one day - hopefully soon - Yemenite Jewish community will thrive all over again in Yemen and around the globe in 🌎 in peace and harmony with all people.
My band opened for them in Florence, Italy, in the wonderful garden of the synagogue. Great show, had lots of fun, they were the nicest people, very down to earth but especially good artists!
I used to visit my late grandma when I was younger. Her tiny high-pitched voice would welcome me as I walked towards her front door. At times I just stopped and listened. I used to caught her sing while cooking in the kitchen...no background music just her voice. she was born and raised in Yemen and immigrated to IL also. Keep up the good work Girls!

These ladies are fantastic. I understand nothing; but. It all sounds good to me. I definitely hear the Motown-esque harmonies. Ofra Haza would be so proud.
