Excellent!! Mr. Johnson is not a great public speaker, but that's not his role with the tribe, and this presentation is informative in ways that an old white guy like me couldn't pull off. The details from the actual treaty are pretty eye--opening. I'm impressed with both his presentation of facts that most OCTA members, not to mention the general public, are unaware of, but also with his low-key delivery. I'm sorry I wasn't able to stay through the entire convention to hear this - and subsequent conversation - in person. Having been involved in the fringes of municipal government for quite a few years, the subtleties of relationships between/among different entities and levels of government are, frankly, very interesting to an old, retired social studies teacher.
