I dislike thst expression so much , it is false. Do you know how many people struggle with more than they can handle and end up in the hospital with a mental breakdown or worse commit suicide ? Yes, you sure can have more than you can handle .

It’s the kind of thing that certainly shouldn’t be influenced outside of our family, there’s a Facebook group that’s catered to pregnancy after having a child with HIE so it must be something a lot of families have questions about xx
@@mummyandavery I am sure that a lot of people do have children who have epilepsy or CP that just need some guidance in that area. Some just have a strange sense of curiosity. FB has a ton of pages for all different things. But there are still those trolls who just love to make reaction videos about others. They feed off of the pain of others which I think is wrong. You tube is a community where it should be safe to share journeys without ridicule or probing questions. It makes me sad that some have nothing better to do. You and Josh do an amazing job and you love your kids no matter what. That is admirable. I had a choir director who had a daughter named Carolyn. She was severely disabled but happy and came with her to every rehearsal. I was exposed to it very young and I think that is what formed my opinions and feelings. Carolyn was included with us even though she couldn’t participate. Who knows what she knew or understood.
Poor little love, that cough sounds so uncomfortable for her🥺 hopefully she can get over it soon💕

We were taught to lay patients with respiration problems on stomach or lean them forward to ease congestion. Would this help her?
I do try to lean her forward when she’s coughing and tummy time does help. It’s not so much congestion it’s like whatever’s on her lungs isn’t fully making it up xx

Hey Chrissy, I have another question. Here in the states, a person with the amount of disabilities Avery has would automatically qualify them for 16-24 hour nurses to help with care. Does the UK have that kind of benefit and if so, would you allow nurses to come in and assist you on a daily basis for the rest of Avery’s life if she needs it? Thanks in advance. And Smile 😊
We were awarded 6 hours for a PA, but we couldn’t find one which I’m not surprised at 6 hours isn’t much. When she’s over 3 she will qualify for more, but I’m not sure if I will apply for that as she will eventually be going to nursery properly. I can manage at the moment, we will just take it day by day, I may feel different when she’s bigger and heavier xx

I have another question, is the reason Avery keeps spitting out saliva is because she is tube fed? Can she swallow her saliva? I always wondered that.........thanks again and as always......Smile
Thank you ❤️❤️ she has an unsafe swallow and poor coordination, that’s the only reason I can think of. I suppose it’s just not as easy for her to swallow it xx

Your boys dont get as much attention as Avery , that is obvious . Does it bother them ?
Not at all, that’s partly because they don’t need as much attention either. They’re at the age now where they just want to do their own thing, Zach especially was already getting that way before Avery was born. They grow too fast xx
