I know it was a challenge when i movedinto sheltered housing ina town , many things had to be thrown as id been in a two bed otoperty now a snall flat bedroom property,but the vest thing was i was like a kid in a sweet shop id got four supermarkets nearby new doctore five minutes away idvto do all this after having veing in a mental health unit 8 month, find a dentist ring no end of people up about change of address id no sooner got deinstityalised from being in a routine on unit and going on buses and then covid it shoving my nental health vack to square one its really hard moving hope youre settled

Crissie thank you so much for the update, with all that has been going on I don’t know how you did it! Strike that yes I do you are the woman who wears many hats, dare I say “Superwoman”! I honestly can’t believe that over there they can refuse a child from going to school, especially in the district you live in! Loved getting a glimpse of Avery, just wish our lil puddin girl was feeling better. Glad you guys are finally moved in will be waiting on the home tour!👋👋NC🫶🙏💐
A choppy update is totally fine, it''s real life. Moving no matter how well planned never ever goes as planned. I hope school gets worked out sooner than later..I'm sure somebody would prefer later. Always good to see Avery, sounds like the new doctors are determined to get her cough under control and that will make a world of difference in the long run. Wishing you all the best.

So glad you're coming out the other side now and life becomes much calmer. I thought you lived in Bristol not Cornwall😅. I'm biased as my son moved from London to Wales as he couldn't afford to buy up here. His 2 boys are thriving they were born in Wales. They're learning Welsh and ate playing at a couple footy clubs, and my son is coaching. They're 15 mins from a lovely beach. Hope Zac and Eli settle in OK. Will Avery go to Nursery? It will be interesting to see what you manage with the kitchen, as I'm needing to find storage ideas for my small kitchen.
I’m hoping being here will do the boys good. Glad to hear your grandchildren are thriving here. Were actually applying for a place in a special educational setting here for Avery as they take children from 3 xx

Moving is the worst! I can’t imagine with a medically fragile child AND sick too wow! To get anything accomplished is a WIN! Sorry to hear you and little A were sick and now your husband too, and by the way that 911 operator should be fired or at least reprimanded for threatening to hang up…good grief. Can’t wait to learn more about Wales and the differences from England. If it’s not giving too much away I was wondering how far of a move it was? Maybe a range ( ie 4-6 hrs) so as to not be too specific?are accents different? I’m from USA, I’ve been to England before but not Wales so I have so many questions.lol -Colorado
The Welsh accent is definitely different from English. We are around 4 hours from where we used to live xc

Would the school district supply a bus for him to go to the next nearest school that has an opening in the grade? He is currently attending?
Yes! We have special ed classes in all schools and one has 3 classrooms just for elementary autistic students. Both middle schools and high schools have special ed classrooms. Mild to moderate and separate for severe and profound. Also a severe and profound in one of the new elementary schools. All the therapist come to all the schools.no child is ever turned away. That would cause a law suit!

You need to use warm salty water on your eyes . Hands must be washed constantly. It spreads easily

They moved to be closer to family. They really didn't like the house and that house was for short term.

Sounds like Averys medical team will be good for her although not so good to have had hospital stays.
At the end of the video you look much more relaxed and happy. Once you have the house and school for Zac sorted you will be living the dream life in Wales 😅😅

Josh is in a new job here. We’ve chosen a special ed setting for Avery we’re just waiting to hear back about a placement xx

It’s rented unfortunately but at least we’re here and we can start setting up Avery’s long term plans in the meantime while we wait for our forever home xx
