8:23-8:41 Laura: "It's her daughter? And I shipped them." (then reveal aunt) I will point out that I called my great aunt "Aunt" She was the sister of my grandmother. Her husband was my "Uncle" he and his family were/are unrelated to me. My brother married a few years ago. His wife has several children whom he is now stepfather to. She is my sister-in-law, which makes me uncle to her children who are not related to me except by his marriage. "Aunt" Peggy, could be the sister of someone who married into another family where other children already existed. So it might not be anywhere near as bad as it seems. (I also know many people who refer to people as aunt/uncle with no legal nor blood relationship. I've adopted 2 sisters, other than my claiming them as _my_ sisters they have no connection to my family. You know what their kids call my brother? "Uncle" 16:17-16:20 Tony: "and then Ultron, my fault." At least Tony is admitting Ultron was his mistake. 24:32-24:36 Peter "Does this grant got money involved or whatever? No?" 24:37-24:40 Tony: Yeah, it's pretty well funded. Look who you're talking to." [Grant funded by one of the richest men in the entire world]
So I'm team Cap. But i always ask people "Is your PERSONAL FREEDOM to own as many gun as you want, more important than everyone else's COLLECTIVE FREEDOM to be allowed to walk down the street and not have to worry about being the victim of a shooting?"
I met Steven Strait who is in the movie The Covenant with Sebastian Stan who plays Bucky. When talking to Steven I told him I loved Sebastian Stan as the bad guy in the film. Steven told me that was Sebastian Stan first film. I said I didn’t know that. He also said that was Taylor Kitch first film also. Steven was such a cool person. I said I already met Danielle Panabaker because they were in Sky High together
I knew Cap knew. While the video was playing, Tony was watching the video... but Cap was watching TONY. He didn't need to see the video, because he already knew what it was.
The story in this, especially the dialogue, is really strong. That whole dialogue between T-Challa and Zemo near the end was probably the best example of that, but there are numerous examples throughout the film.
I first saw this movie, ages ago, and afterward, had occasion to try to find information about it. I had the most baffling difficulty until I connected with the fact that it was specifically a _Captain America_ movie. I had been looking for it in the _Avengers_ canon. All the _other_ avengers, here, and this feels like _The Avengers_ is the canon in which this film belongs.
This is honestly in my top 3 marvel movies. The reason is how the Spiderman will return credit goes. Tom Holland just makes the perfect Spider-Man. Can't wait to see y'alls marvel movie reactions, it gets better!!
Stark and Rogers are both right and they are both wrong. They are both too prideful to admit it. Both Stark and Rogers are self-righteous and can't admit when they're wrong. A team of superheroes can't just go wherever they want and do whatever they want. That's the equivalent of playing god, which is a recurring theme in the entire Marvel film saga. A team of superheroes can't be obedient pawns of a corruptible government body, either. The actions of Hydra taught them that rule. With great power comes great responsibility. A hero doesn't let pride and ego alter that deal.
Nice reaction, such an awesome movie, glad Laura saw it! There's even a Barnes & Noble novel called Civil War by Stuart Moore that explains in detail the conflict between Steve and Tony, plus the ones who decided to be against the Accords and for them. You may be interested in reading it sometime.

When this movie came out it caused an actual Civil War team Iron-Man or team Cap. Cap’s journey from wanting to do anything to fight for his government to questioning it to turning his back on it is one of the best arcs in this MCU
This is a superficial read of his arc, but it's really not how it went. Steve's moral compass has always been for people. He wanted to help people and put his trust in people and was willing to defy authority in the name of what he believed was right. In First Avenger he defied orders and went AWOL to rescue Bucky and what became the Howling Commandos. In Winter Soldier he defied Fury to his face and then flat out refused to follow orders to release information he had out of respect for a man's dying wish, and encouraged a mass mutiny in order to destroy a hijacked government agency. And here he refused to allow their personal freedoms be surrendered in the name of security or control. Cap never changed. He just progressively took bigger stands against greater overreaches.
I’ve always felt it was not Wanda’s fault at all. In fact, if she didn’t send the bomb up… a lot more people would’ve died in that market place than in that floor of the building. The only thing avengers, namely Tony. Is guilty of is Ultron.
I'm on Tony's side. We always have the argument that being on Cap's side is because his judgment is ALWAYS going to be the right one. But what if it's not?. What if he's wrong, or when there are other countries involved, Cap's personal decisions end up with even more serious consequences because he didn't take into account all points of view and possible consequences?. In this movie, Cap's defense of his friend Bucky, how many people died and were left behind, how many police officers were killed in combat?. They were police officers, or special forces personnel, they were just doing their job, they weren't on the "bad side," they weren't from Hydra. But they died because Bucky is Cap's friend. In this mission, the entire planet and all of humanity weren't at stake. It wasn't a global catastrophe that was being fought. Cap's goal was just to save his friend. But at what price?. All those people who were there as collateral damage, they weren't "bad people." They probably had wives and children. But they weren't personal friends of Cap. This isn't fair either. Don't you think?.
None of those police/military guys were killed in that fight. Bucky even says "I'm not going to kill anyone" when he's grabbing his bugout bag. Cap certainly didn't kill any of them and you can see him actively trying to just subdue them. Bucky was mainly just trying to escape and only fighting the ones that he had to and while he was probably a bit overly aggressive, nothing he did to the police was fatal. Extremely painful and requiring a hospital..yeah absolutely but he didn't kill any of them even though they tried to kill him and Cap. Now he probably did kill several agents/guards at the facility once they had caught him but that was after Zemo had activated the Winter Soldier and Bucky was no longer in control of his body.
Captain America is American Exceptionalism in human form. The choices of the individual are always most important, always right, any large group or reatriction is always bad.
Except that the argument had nothing to do with the efforts around capturing Winter Soldier/Bucky. Tony and Steve were at odds because of the Sokovia Accords. As for the bogus accords, well I think that statement clarifies my position. In New York, Loki and the Chitauri were going to try to get the infinity stones that were on Earth no matter what. (Recall that there were three!) If the Avengers don't act because the council gets mind controlled by Loki, then game over for Earth. As it was, they were going to nuke New York. Then who would they blame for that? The Avengers did cause damage, but they ended up saving more lives than if they had delayed. You saw the argument that Nick was having with the council around the Avengers too. Ultron was all Tony... who convinced Banner to participate. All of the lives lost as a result were on him. Recall that Steve asked him not to create Ultron, but Tony, in fear and hubris did it anyway. (Thus was born Ultron!) He would have done it again had Thor not interceded, accidentally infusing the Mind stone with his own characteristics. (Thus was born Vision, already worthy of Mjolnir!) And keep in mind that the government, at every level, had been infiltrated by Hydra. Steve was concerned about that, as that poses a very real threat to the world, especially if that very government was aiming the Avengers at whatever Hydra might think is a threat! (Remember the three gunships that came down and caused damage to the city and killed hundreds of people? How many did those ships have targeted for elimination for the first round when the chips were switched?) Steve was right to not sign.
@@arthurcamargo8416, I totally agree with you on this. Cap was definitely in the right for not signing The Accords, and even though I can empathize with Tony for wanting to do the right thing, he just went about it all wrong.
By far the best movie in the MCU, so far. Captain America trilogy just kept getting better and better with each movie. 0:54 it's so interesting to see how we get more and more context on this December 1991 situation, from Bucky's perspective, Tony's, even Steve's, throughout the movie. 2:18 this is very poorly (or not at all) explained in the movies but both Nat and Bucky have some version of the Supersoldier Serum, obviously with different degrees of effectiveness when compared to Steve's which was the original/perfect one. For Bucky, it's thanks to Doctor Arnim Zola. In Nat's case, it probably isn't the Serum but other chemicals. 4:30 the Lagos fighting scene looks so cool right up until this point - we're finally seeing the Avengers deal with the consequences of the wanton destruction caused by their missions. 5:36 Tony's "going off the deep end" moment for this movie - this pretty much drives his actions and decisions right up until he finds the truth about his parents' deaths. 7:15 what an incredibly dark intro we get for Zemo, undoubtedly one of the best villains in the MCU. No superhuman powers, no alien, no magic - just a dead family fueling his thirst for revenge. 8:22 Steve's keeping it in the family, first Peggy, now her granddaughter 😂 10:20 this whole sequence, Steve helping Bucky escape, Black Panther coming in to catch Bucky, Falcon assiting them - action cranked up to 11 and we love to see it! 15:17 Bilbo Baggins joins the MCU and he does not fuck around! 16:13 Gwyneth Paltrow's contract with Marvel ended after Iron Man 3 and they somehow managed to not agree about renewing it (basically Marvel decided to cheap out) 22:03 such a good misdirect with this line - making us think Zemo wants 5 more Winter Soldiers to control. 23:50 No better moment to make the viewers go wild, a new Spider Man gets introduced, this time into the MCU! Peter's chemistry with Tony is so damn good, we need more of that, asap. 26:22 Clint coming out of retirement to help Steve 28:08 both Sam and Bucky, nodding - NICE 😎 30:40 Peter fanboy-ing over everyone during that fight scene is just like us, the audience, going crazy when we see them 😂really wholesome and funny. 33:16 we have the money shot of "Civil War" right here. 36:41 what it means for Vision to get distracted, seeing Rhodey fall like that just makes your heart sank and that "thud" as he hit the ground - heartbreaking. 39:02 and now Zemo's masterplan is finally revealed - his backstory is tragic but the pain he inflicted upon Tony, Steve and Bucky - this was both compelling and horrifying to watch. 42:52 what a powerful realization on T'Challa's part, deciding not to allow vengeance in his thoughts anymore. 44:35 Steve's letter to Tony - really hits you in the feels, how he doesn't abandon his convictions and he's still there for Tony, even if they're not in the same room anymore. Thank you for the excellent reaction, commentary and the heartfelt discussion at the end, you did a great job ❤
Let's be honest, THEY NEVER GAVE US A Captain America TRILOGY, because this movie could very well have been called Avengers: Civil War On the other hand, it is a real shame that they did not show the real reason why the conflict began like in the comics, where what happens is extremely heavy, since a group of superhero children doing a reality show without any experience, believe they can with some supervillains and their bad decisions, they destroy an entire school of children and since it was a reality show, EVERYONE saw how they screwed up and the worst, for fame and that is the true catalyst, why the registration initiative begins of heroes, to help and train them
I'm on Captain America's side. Team Iron Man wanted to arrest Bucky after he was the member of HYDRA. But Captain America refused to hand over Bucky. Also, Bucky saved Steve from the river. That will show proof he wasn't a villain. He was brainwashed by HYDRA.
I understand the point of view... however, unfortunately the law has never been very understanding or open to the idea of brainwashing... The idea is, whether they were brainwashed or not they still did whatever they did...
@marvel-ousre-grind8724 You're wrong. It was to the point everything I said. Captain America didn't want to sign the Accords. Neither did his teammates. Then the airport Team Iron Man wanted to arrest Bucky. But Captain Ameica refused to hand over Bucky.
Ironman really kicked both there asses, which is amazing. It took a distraction to get the upper hand. Cap was telling tony to put on the suit n the first avengers, doesn't look like he really is ready for that smoke.
That's why I hate Endgame's ending with passion because it doesn't make sense at all and was a total character assassination for Steve Rogers' character. Not to mention that directors and screenwriters can't get to a consensus about the mechanics of it...😒
Cap’s movies are some of the absolute best in the MCU. I love this storyline from the comics, and I was on Cap’s side then, and I still am in this movie, even though I can empathize with Tony’s view.

Btw the Secretary of State is the same guy who wanted to hunt down Bruce Banner.
This was intense to watch it was so great making them tear each other apart fighting Cap doesn’t want to be under control no matter how many lives they save and Tony was thinking haven’t they cause enough damage but it wasn’t their fault it was an enemy like Loki and Hydra Tony finding out about his parents was crazy 😢 I enjoy the fight between Cap & Iron Man
8:23-8:41 Laura: "It's her daughter? And I shipped them." (then reveal aunt)
I will point out that I called my great aunt "Aunt" She was the sister of my grandmother. "Uncle"
16:17-16:20 Tony: "and then Ultron, my fault." At least Tony is admitting Ultron was his mistake.
24:32-24:36 Peter "Does this grant got money involved or whatever? No?"
24:37-24:40 Tony: Yeah, it's pretty well funded. Look who you're talking to."
[Grant funded by one of the richest men in the entire world]
So I'm team Cap. But i always ask people
"Is your PERSONAL FREEDOM to own as many gun as you want, more important than everyone else's COLLECTIVE FREEDOM to be allowed to walk down the street and not have to worry about being the victim of a shooting?"
Great heartfelt reaction as always, thank you for sharing in the fun 🎉❤
Why would Hydra make a video of this? Who was holding the camera? Were they waiting in advance at the crash site?
Don't forget to watch Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Captain Marvel before y'all watch Avengers: Endgame.
43:27 Oh man, great dialogue, I was too.
You guys are from Romania yeah, Sebastian Stan AKA The Winter Soldier actor is Romanian.
The story in this, especially the dialogue, is really strong. That whole dialogue between T-Challa and Zemo near the end was probably the best example of that, but there are numerous examples throughout the film.
35:42-35:51 The big cookie from Shrek hahaha. I like that
I first saw this movie, ages ago, and afterward, had occasion to try to find information about it. I had the most baffling difficulty until I connected with the fact that it was specifically a _Captain America_ movie. I had been looking for it in the _Avengers_ canon. All the _other_ avengers, here, and this feels like _The Avengers_ is the canon in which this film belongs.
Steve Rogers doesn't seem to have much luck with elevators.
"Elevator's not worthy."
Thank you! See! I knew both Tony Stark and Steve Rogers are wrong in that movie and MUA2 game.
I don't support the sokovia acords, but in the final i am Team Tony stark
You guys you TOTALLY watch together one of Tom Holand's first movies, it's based on a true story. The Impossible (2012) VERY emotional!
I'm such a big "Captain America fan,so this is my 2nd favorite "Marvel movie that he's in besides my first I'd "Winter Soldier. I have this in 4K. Very excited to watch this with you "MagicMagy and Laura 🎉😃👍🏼
Maggy I suggest you watch the “fear street “ trilogy the order is 1994-1978-1666
RIP Chadwick Boseman to-do list:
✅Black Panther/MCU
42
Get On Up
Marshall
21 Bridges
Ma Rainey's Black Bottom
Da 4 Bloods
Tragic loss. His performances even made mediocre and bad movies watchable. He got robbed of everything. We got robbed of everything he could/would have done; greatness. RIP
Love 42 so, so much.
@@BiffMan42 Chadwick was amazing. Harrison Ford crushed his role too. Boseman was also incredible in Get On Up as James Brown, but the movie was kinda meh otherwise.
There's nothing to forgive!
He wasn't in control of himself.
Shoot might have to give some part of Ultron being built to Wanda as well. Ultron was gonna be shelved till she brought his PTSD back up 😂
I'm on Tony's side. Don't you think?.
exactly i am also on tony's side.
I always enjoy listening to you both hearing your thoughts after the movie. Very good video 🎉💞
Spider man That’s when all the Fan Hype up in the MCU and the Girls love spider man to this day
By far the best movie in the MCU, so far.
8:22 Steve's keeping it in the family, first Peggy, now her granddaughter 😂
10:20 this whole sequence, Steve helping Bucky escape, Black Panther coming in to catch Bucky, Falcon assiting them - action cranked up to 11 and we love to see it!
15:17 Bilbo Baggins joins the MCU and he does not fuck around!
16:13 Gwyneth Paltrow's contract with Marvel ended after Iron Man 3 and they somehow managed to not agree about renewing it (basically Marvel decided to cheap out)
22:03 such a good misdirect with this line - making us think Zemo wants 5 more Winter Soldiers to control.
23:50 No better moment to make the viewers go wild, a new Spider Man gets introduced, this time into the MCU! Peter's chemistry with Tony is so damn good, we need more of that, asap.
26:22 Clint coming out of retirement to help Steve
28:08 both Sam and Bucky, nodding - NICE 😎
30:40 Peter fanboy-ing over everyone during that fight scene is just like us, the audience, going crazy when we see them 😂really wholesome and funny.
Let's be honest, THEY NEVER GAVE US A Captain America TRILOGY, because this movie could very well have been called Avengers: Civil War
On the other hand, it is a real shame that they did not show the real reason why the conflict began like in the comics, where what happens is extremely heavy, since a group of superhero children doing a reality show without any experience, believe they can with some supervillains and their bad decisions, they destroy an entire school of children and since it was a reality show, EVERYONE saw how they screwed up and the worst, for fame and that is the true catalyst, why the registration initiative begins of heroes, to help and train them
I was like "They seems like som OF sl.ts....One minute latter "There you go😂"
This movie "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" will give u2 emotional.
25:35 because of this line Tony trusted on Peter that he'll be next superhero who'll take after him
Czekałem niecierpliwie aż to zobaczycie
20:37 Stop drooling, girls... ;)
Magic Magy Truly Such A Awesome Video Today!!🔥🐐🐐💎
34:42-35:04 Ant-Man is Giant-Man now. Way to go, Tic-Tac
Отлично солдат! на русском, в самом начале. Мне ведь это не показалось?
@@joshuagalaviz1811Did you not know that Cap knew Bucky killed Tony's parents?
Hot take. They were both right about things in this story. Neither was completely right about things either. It's not black and white.
@@johnsantos507Of course I knew. When I saw Captain America Civil War in the movie theater and Captain America's trilogy.
Team Tony!!! Cal doesn't deserve that shield.
Amazing reaction and commentary ❤
Agent Hill isn't in this movie, but you put her in thumbnail
great video as always
My all time favorite MCU movie
Ironman really kicked both there asses, which is amazing. It took a distraction to get the upper hand. Cap was telling tony to put on the suit n the first avengers, doesn't look like he really is ready for that smoke.
Well cap won so
Only because it is his movie@@Victor-d3s5g
@@Victor-d3s5g It doesn't matter, Iron man is stronger than America's ass. Everyone knows that.

My movie favorite, CAPTAIN AMERICA CIVIL WAR 🦸♂️🦸♂️🦸♂️💪💪💪✨️✨️✨️
Wanda MVP of the airport battle
I really love the friendship and brotherhood between Steve and Bucky,😎both of them are a ride or die for each other
That's why I hate Endgame's ending with passion because it doesn't make sense at all and was a total character assassination for Steve Rogers' character. Not to mention that directors and screenwriters can't get to a consensus about the mechanics of it...😒
Iron Man wins that fight. But the film was about Captain America so they have to show it,
43:49 my heart broke and sank :(
Oooh! This is getting interesting now. I hope you ladies get to 'Black Panther' soon.
Phrase 3 lets go 🔥
Waiting for Infinity war and End Game
34:51 "Ant Man _who?"_
_Gi-_ Ant Man.
Cap’s movies are some of the absolute best in the MCU.
I love this storyline from the comics, and I was on Cap’s side then, and I still am in this movie, even though I can empathize with Tony’s view.

23:51: *I was anticipating a great reaction from Laura when we first see Peter Parker, and it didn’t disappoint! Magy’s restraint from bursting made it even better!*
Ben Parker wasn’t even mention when Peter was talking to Tony. No Ben Parker means no famous quote with great power comes great responsibility. It must of been Sony marvel wasn’t allowed to used Ben because of Sony. Sony is truly the worst when it comes to Spider-man.
