They never just shut up and watch the movie, he just makes stuff up out of nowhere. He will see a new person and immediately decides how people are related to each other in the first 5 seconds with no context. At 8:10 they are playing with a Ouija board. It's a game that is supposed to let you communicate with the dead or spirits. Everyone puts their hand on the planchette, and you ask the spirit questions. Then the spirit will move the planchette to letters or numbers on the board to answer that question. Most people just view it as a silly game for children and don't take it seriously at all. However, some Christians do take it seriously and believe it is actually dangerous to use, since it could summon an evil spirit or demon. My mother never would have allowed a Ouija board in our house.
I’ve seen several reactions to this movie but this was probably the best! It’s not often you get reactions from people who are not desensitized by other movies and see it from a humble viewpoint

I love this movie. When I was old enough to watch this, I was in my early teens back in the 80's because my mom knew I was the right age to love horror movies.
I also will not even this day too watch "Serpent and the Rainbow" that movie still give me nightmares. Saw it once, I had nightmares for two weeks straight in the rows. My mom let me watch TV in the living room watching good channel like music video helped me sleep better.

I enjoy your reactions immensely especially Badshah Bhai. It's ok to get emotional about this movie. My mother went to see it when it first came in 1973. She came home and her eyes were red from crying but she never told me why.
I love these guys! They are so kind. They were always worried about the child! The man on the left made me laugh when he said” I will make my wife go to the bathroom with me!” I was cracking up! I saw this movie years ago and it scared me so bad I slept with the lights on for 2 weeks
This was one of five horror classics I suggested to them. The others were Wes Craven's Wishmaster. Steven Spielberg's Poltergeist. Clive Barker's Hellraiser. John Carpenter's The Thing
Yeah I mentioned this was based on a real occurence and deaths but now you mention it, poltergeist was so real that most cast is dead now from many different circumstances not to far from after filming till date.
Great reaction. It was interesting seeing them react to this movie and how they could relate to the theme so well. The Ouija board is believed to be a method by which a person can become possessed by a demon. I know my cousin said he started hearing voices after he played with a Ouija board. I am sure I played with such a board but nothing ever happened to me. That old priest is Max Von Sydow and he is actually about 45 in this film. He is a great actor that came out in a lot of movies and only recently passed away.
What is sad is that people take movies like this so seriously that they think that what happens in them happens in real life and that it backs up superstitions that they already have. Their reactions are great to watch, but I hate that some, like this one. reinforce terrible religious thinking. People should be learning better by now. This is a STORY, that's all. There are no ghosts, spirits or demons and people need psychological care, not exorcisms that DO kill people.
@@paulagwhyte1720 Psychological care from quacks who tell you you are attracted to your mother.... Must be a big business prescribing drugs to people for any little thing.
😂🤣😂🤣😂🥰😇 when they started praying with the ones in the movie i busted out laughing, THEY WAS NOT GOING TO TAKE A CHANCE , THAT THE DEMON WILL COME AFTER THEM TOOO 😂🤣😂🤣😂
The directors cut is great. But the original cut is better. More importantly, the original ending is better where the priest walks away alone. The directors cut with the priest and detective is too cosy and chummy. The original, gently sombre ending with the tubular bells music is perfect and should be left untouched. Perfect film.
I was not expecting this. Showing Exorcist to villagers that have not seen it before for the first time! These men from entirely different cultures understand better of what's happening in the film than many other reactions to the same film. Their reactions are truly honest and on their sleeves but what moved me was their empathy to the characters in the film, from the child, mother, priest just to name a few. Their comments really resonates from the fact that people these days because of the progress in science don't believe in God. Like what the man on the left said "...there is a limit to science but there is no limit to these evil souls". They even showed true appreciation of the actors in the film particularly Linda Blair for portraying her character from innocent child to tormented possessed. Throughout their viewing, they were respectful to the characters and accurate of the plot. Their physical reactions to some scenes are pure gold and just icing on the cake. It just shows that despite cultural differences, we all share common ground where the occult is concerned. The best honest reactions I have seen in a long time.
One of the best reactions there are. I was too young and seen too many gory films that I didn't understand the horror in this film. The horror of this film is the very concept.

One guy was "clucking" when scared, joy over family love, was wholesome. Explaining that the battle between good & evil is real. And their lovely manners, waiting their turn hearing each other out. They were wise & loving, this was fascinating
The lesson of this movie is this, don't play with those spirit boards as they are portals and when opened have to be closed by someone that knows how to. Otherwise, you get this in your house.

Man, these poor guys probably dont see too many horror films and you dropped the mother of all horror films on them lol that's a culture shock for sure
This is the most terrifying movie for me i saw it as a young boy and I still get the creeps from it, let not the visions of the evil one cause any to stumble and forget that God is the Almighty being who is life. Peace to all of you, I hope that your next movie will be a happier one.
Exceeded my expectations !! 😂 The tag-line for this movie could have been way ahead of its time, >>> "May the force NOT be with you ! " (the evil force) 😉
I am fascinated by the ways in which these wonderful reactors' worldviews seem fairly consistent among the generations represented and the ways in which they seem to have changed over time.
For rural villagers who believe in the existence of demons and ghosts etc this would be a very scary movie. Very different to someone from the west who is used to watching graphic gory horror films. What about a musical film like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, or The Wizard of Oz, or My Fair Lady?
There are still plenty of people in the west who believe in these things. Humans have this self-centered habit of doubting things exist when they haven't experienced them personally, especially when things are far outside of the "normal." But there are so many things outside of what's normal or common, that still happen all the time. If you follow any sort of religion, you must believe in the supernatural. If you follow any superstition, believe in bad or good luck, any kind of alternative medicines, big foot, aliens, conspiracy theories, or even quantum theories - it's all having faith in something outside of common experience that is unproven. And one of the men said he'd personally had an experience with exorcism. 🤷♀️ Who are we to say he's wrong. I think the movie still holds plenty of horror for western audiences, at least the ones who can admit they don't know everything.
I disagree. My family is from a third world country. Nothing scares them. To them black magic was something to stay away from done by neighbors. But because they grew up religious they believe evil cannot harm or scare them due to faith.
It's fascinating to see the different reaction culturally. In the U.S. very few people would assume this was a possession, they would assume it was a medical problem (like a brain tumor) causing behavioral issue or the first appearance of a psychiatric problem. We can't just go see an exorcist. It's a particular branch of Christianity that believes/performs exorcism, and only certain authorized people can complete it, and only with the permission of the highest church leaders. If you aren't a member of the Catholic Church, it would be very hard to even get them to speak to you about the situation at all.
There are exorcist in other branches of Christianity but the Catholics have had the most focus. You can find pastors and experienced laypersons in the Baptist, Pentecostal, Methodist, even the Amish/Mennonites have religious leaders that specialize in such matters. All of the reputable church leaders require the person to be exorcised to have had all mental and physical possibilities explored before they will take on the task.

Just about to start watching this, I'm most apprehensive about how they'll react to the "crucifix" scene 😬
Yeah that's what sprang to mind too straight away.
I think, they have relatively open minds and know, that this is a completely different religion then theirs
@@AnthyrionI don’t think they’re talking about religion here lol
@mistert800
Ditto!!! I was afraid for them😱
Thought they might see a ‘scrubbed’ version.
They are officially true artists, suffering for their craft😌
Yes and the scene a little bit before it with similar subject matter. This was the first thing I thought as well.
As soon as I saw the thumbnail "Villagers React to The Exorcist" I was like Nooooooooo! You can't show them that! 🤣 I hope you supplied them with counselling for PTSD afterwards. Yes, the 2 exorcists gave their lives to save the innocent child. They were martyred in the name of love and compassion. The Exorcist is hands down the scariest film I've ever seen. I thought these fine gentlemen were perceptive and clever with their comments and analysis. I have a movie request for them to watch. The Abyss. I think they would really enjoy that.
Really great comment 👍💯
@@ronaldwilliams4954 Thanks man.
I am in my 70s and I love watching movies with you guys Thanks from Canada
Hello from Saskatchewan!!! I love these guys too!!!🖖🏻🇨🇦
Hi to all from British Columbia, Canada, too. ❤
Nova Scotia here!
I am very moved by the compassion for the innocent girl you three brothers have shown. Too often the afflicted are blamed for their condition and your responses to this horrible story show that.
That's so true, they really were very sympathetic to the girl, her mother, and everyone else.
These three guys absolutely have no doubt about the exorcism .
I love this channel not only do i get to revisit classic older movies, i get to see reactions of people who have never seen these movies. Brings me joy.
Me too. I'm glad someone suggested this over on Grimmlife. What a kick these 3 villager men are!
So, the middle guy got "Don't uninate in public" out of this. I LOVE how cultures see the same thing in a totally different light.
Oh wow, I’m so surprised to see this. But now that I think about it, I think this will be an amazing reaction full of insights as these men always share deep wisdom. This movie used to really bother me, but I love and appreciate it. That started with analyzing the music compared to other horror scores and i suddenly realized how hopeful it is. Later I learned how this coincides s with the original author’s intention. I love the artistry of this movie and I can’t wait to see this.
It's amusing to see how these provincial guys grasped, despite the film being in a foreign language, the hypocrisy & atheism of the psychologists & psychiatrists when facing the supernatural.
The commentary they made at the end was very wise!
@@fyrchmyrddin1937considering its in the 1970s there no hypocrisy and or atheism in it at all. To believe in Anything but science in the 20s century is a sign of stupidity and would get you fired instantly in the western world. How ars you gonna be taken seriously if you bring up all this devil nonsense from the get go ? You want you collages to take you serious and not a loon from the 1500s. Also the term atheist is by definition as pointless word. It means a person that don't believe in gods of any kind. That's just an intelligent scientific person. You can't use words for people that don't belive in the Smurfs or Superman. So why use it when you dont belive in something so stupid that most thinking people has gotten rid of it. To not belive in god is just a sign of intelligence, nothing else. They would be called a normal person in most of Europe. Stop giving sans people titles for not believing in your nonsense. We dont belive in Orcs and Hobbits either. And it's the same crap, so leave the names for sane people at the door please.. 😊
Fascinating to watch this reaction....they understood completely what was happening and how to solve it.
Really??? What reaction were you watching? Once again, we had, know it all, Babu, claiming that no one else but him knows what they are talking about. They actually believed that the doctors were experimenting on her instead of attempts at a diagnosis. They talked about how much money per hour the laborers were making. They actually believe that this shit is real. I watch a lot of reactions from people all over the world. When Babu is involved, it always goes to Babu thinking he needs to school everyone else. They never just shut up and watch the movie, he just makes stuff up out of nowhere. He will see a new person and immediately decides how people are related to each other in the first 5 seconds with no context. I think the others are there to learn but Babu shows up to use his power as an elder to teach everyone else, which would be fine if he had the slightest idea of what he is talking about. I just don't like Babu, he never shuts the fuck up.
@@smm1664 Oh. So you think, if you watched some Indian movies previously unknown to you, you would understand everything perfectly? Calm down. And if it bothers you that much, dont watch this channel only to insult one old man 👎

I love the tall guy expressions and face. He should do movies. He have such unique features!
These men are just wonderful human beings. Much love from this Christ follower in West Virginia, USA.
Ouija boards open a door. This is well known in the Exorcist world.
Never play with the dead
"The girl is walking like a spider and they are talking like this?"
So! TRUE!
These men made me laugh so much, but I also appreciated their wisdom.
This was wonderful. Seeing the movie in someone elses eyes. These gentleman were very funny some of the time. Thk u.
The Omen is a great companion piece to this film
I’ve seen several reactions to this movie but this was probably the best! It’s not often you get reactions from people who are not desensitized by other movies and see it from a humble viewpoint
"I have been to church once, there was so much peace that there is no desire to come back" - Babu
I need this on a T-shirt :D
I've watched most of these reviews, and have become a fan of these gentlemen. I love to see their thoughts and opinions from their unique perspective. Please don't change with success, you will be VERY successful. Best wishes of health and love!
Amazing feedback and wisdom from these good gentlemen.
"Don't urinate in unknown and lonely places." Yes, such wisdom.
I'm not sure how this came up in my TH-cam as a suggestion, but I'm glad I watched it. I love watching movies though other people's eyes. You 3 did an amazing job, so much so, that I subscribed. Thanks for your review, my friends! Wishing you love, peace and light. All my best 🙏♥️
I love the fascial expressions of the guy on the left. lol
Babu is awesome. Love his expressions too.
My new favourite reaction channel, the comments and insights these gentlemen give are very wholesome.
Because they really care about people you can tell it inside and out they are genuine 👍💯💯
Couldn't agree more with the fine gentleman on the left at the end, "people in the modern world do not accept the evil exists."
Because overall level of education increases. Significantly more people nowadays learn how to read, do math, get the basic level of physics, etc...
@@Ci-el-ka And yet, many of us still have paranormal experiences. Explain that.
I love this movie. When I was old enough to watch this, I was in my early teens back in the 80's because my mom knew I was the right age to love horror movies.
How could you not love horror in the 80's, a golden era for the genre!
I still love to watch horror movie. But two I won't watch alone is "The Ring" and "The Paranormal Activity series"
I also will not even this day too watch "Serpent and the Rainbow" that movie still give me nightmares. Saw it once, I had nightmares for two weeks straight in the rows. My mom let me watch TV in the living room watching good channel like music video helped me sleep better.
the tall guy men is looking like the Lurch from Addams family if i was a director and i was making a reboot i will give that role with close eyes to that tall guy
Me too man 😂😂😂
I enjoy your reactions immensely especially Badshah Bhai. It's ok to get emotional about this movie. My mother went to see it when it first came in 1973. She came home and her eyes were red from crying but she never told me why.
29:50 I'm afraid Badsha Bhai might not have fully gotten rid of the evil spirit that possessed him after peeing in a strange place 😂
I love these guys! They are so kind. They were always worried about the child! The man on the left made me laugh when he said” I will make my wife go to the bathroom with me!” I was cracking up! I saw this movie years ago and it scared me so bad I slept with the lights on for 2 weeks
I can't get enough of these guys. SO funny and wholesome!
Hope the guy on the left has his wife ready to accompany him everywhere, including bathroom, for the next few days (or weeks)
Thank you guys. That was very interesting seeing how people in other countries react to this film
This was one of five horror classics I suggested to them. The others were Wes Craven's Wishmaster. Steven Spielberg's Poltergeist. Clive Barker's Hellraiser. John Carpenter's The Thing
I think they nailed it
Wow yea I would love to see their reaction to Poltergeist and The Thing
Yeah I mentioned this was based on a real occurence and deaths but now you mention it, poltergeist was so real that most cast is dead now from many different circumstances not to far from after filming till date.
@@ul2wise4u Craig Nelson, the mother, the boy are still alive
@@paulagwhyte1720 You have no clue. Read the books from Garbiele Amorth.
You are correct, Quija boards can be a start. That is well known by Exorcists.

The archeological dig, in Northern Iraq, was in the Ancient ruins of Ninevah.
For more Scary movies I would suggest "Carrie"(1976) and "The Shining"(1980)
Both brilliant films!
😂🤣😂🤣😂🥰😇 when they started praying with the ones in the movie i busted out laughing, THEY WAS NOT GOING TO TAKE A CHANCE , THAT THE DEMON WILL COME AFTER THEM TOOO 😂🤣😂🤣😂
I love these three guys they are amazing ❤❤
This is one heck of a movie to show these gentlemen! 😮🎥 Did you show the Director's cut?
Absolute masterpiece.
yes this was the version with restored footage
👍💯
The directors cut is great. But the original cut is better. More importantly, the original ending is better where the priest walks away alone. The directors cut with the priest and detective is too cosy and chummy. The original, gently sombre ending with the tubular bells music is perfect and should be left untouched. Perfect film.
This was one of five horror classics I suggested to them on their patreon
Lurch is killing me 😂
I was not expecting this.
These guys have such an amazing take on things. And they interpret with such depth.
One of the best reactions there are.
I was too young and seen too many gory films that I didn't understand the horror in this film. The horror of this film is the very concept.
34:10 omg... Lmao!! I get it. I'm useless after watching films like these as well. These three are everything!! I'm hooked to watching them view movies. They're so adorable. Great upload. Please send my love and light to them. They make my heart smile every time I watch them.

I’ve stood over that stones stairs in Georgetown where the priest died. Believe me when I say, it’s even creepy during the daytime
Watched these guys for the first time. 3 VERY SINCERE AND CARING SOULS. GKD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES. JOE
I wonder what their reaction would be to comedy/horror? Something like "Tucker and Dale vs Evil". 😅
far better movies exist than that
The guy on the left is every horror writer and director's dream viewer. He is totally getting into it. His reactions are the best.
This may effect their sleep for awhile

What they think is posession is dehydration, heat stroke, drinking non boiled water.
You should show them 'Repossessed' some time. The Leslie Neilson spoof of the Exorcist. Now that they've seen this, they'll get the references.
Aww. The guy in the middle seems to be a gentle giant!! These three were just enjoying a good movie! Thanks for your video dear sir's!!!
This is the most terrifying movie for me i saw it as a young boy and I still get the creeps from it, let not the visions of the evil one cause any to stumble and forget that God is the Almighty being who is life. Peace to all of you, I hope that your next movie will be a happier one.
I absolutely loved this!
I just kept saying to myself they have no idea what’s coming each step of the way!
Exceeded my expectations !! 😂 The tag-line for this movie could have been way ahead of its time, >>> "May the force NOT be with you ! " (the evil force) 😉
I love the uncle in the white hat his expression are so serious he has been into all the movies he has seen I love it
"I'm going to have to take my wife with me to the toilet later" 😂
I am fascinated by the ways in which these wonderful reactors' worldviews seem fairly consistent among the generations represented and the ways in which they seem to have changed over time.
For rural villagers who believe in the existence of demons and ghosts etc this would be a very scary movie. Very different to someone from the west who is used to watching graphic gory horror films. What about a musical film like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, or The Wizard of Oz, or My Fair Lady?
For a musical Singin in the Rain
These gentlemen are wonderful. Their perspectives are truly fascinating. Thanks!
Oh why did you do this to these sweet men? How about The Wizard of Oz or something like that? 😫💜😫
Those guys are awesome, I really enjoyed their perspectives.
This was awsome. Lots of respect for these guys.
