- An out of state group has come into our town to remove a Cross. Despite a huge majority of supporters, a group from another State is telling the City of Wilmore, KY to remove a Cross from our water tower.

We had them come here after the nativity displayed at fountain in the town square. Well there's a big old church on the square and they said display it here. Now because of them you can see no matter which way you enter the square. Love the song fellas and makes me wonder how sad their life is. Maybe someday they'll see the light. God Bless you guys.

Whenever that I used to live round Bristol VA/TN, I tried to git the church-goers to join a 2 minute prayer meeting before work. Most 'ud ivver come is three, usually one, despite multiple preachers and deacons. The ones at wouldn't come? They'd say it'd make trouble. And they was right, it did - just prayin'.
One of the biggest crosses was at a church the preacher built after winning a car dealership in a poker game. He later lost it the same way, and the church closed.
Don't forget - the crusaders and the Germans in WW1 and WW2 had crosses all over their weapons.
Maybe there ought to be less worry about a physical cross being seen, and more concern in living the Sermon on the Mount?
I just find it funny that folks are always trying to do away with Christianity in public or trying to prove Christians wrong but ya never see em doing that with other religions. To me that just solidifies Gods word that much more. As Joshua told the children of Israel, "as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord!" God bless Lard
