Absolutely gorgeous landscape. I’m a beginner at weaving and really enjoying your tutorials. You have great ideas and a lovely relaxed way of teaching. Thank you very much 😊
Fellow Alberta here too! It’s people like you that help keep me inspired, ignore the cold and snow and get to work. I’ll probably just watch the first few minutes of this one over and over again because It reminds me that someone else is out there feeling blah and pushing past it! Just make yourself get started and you’ll be on your way😊 thanks janelle!
Ya March is about the time I think I might lose my mind 🤣 and then mosquito season comes and I'm like... maybe winter isn't the worst. It's a never ending cycle lol, glad you enjoyed this!
You are such a breath of fresh air! I love this video! I’m in California and we have these atmospheric rains that are so depressing- I hope spring gets here and in your neck of the woods soon
I’m just finishing a landscape now that wasn’t supposed to be a landscape but evolved that way and has been a WIP for about a year and... yours looks so much better 😅 I love the different material sizes and textures you’ve used, I went with essentially crochet/knitting yarn the whole way through and I’m only finishing it so that it’s done and not consigned to eternity in the WIP pile.
A quick short on needle felting a flower onto merino roving would be greatly appreciated. Do you literally just punch it in with the needle? Does it actually stay there, no glue for example? Cheers
Thank you! This is a piece of driftwood I think my parent's picked up for me while on Vancouver Island. I live in the prairies so I have very little access to driftwood lol
I just want to tell you again what a wonderful teacher and artist you are! I've been wanting to loom for a long time and then I found you! THANK YOU!

Thank you, I do too!
Howdy, I stopped fiddling with my current WIP and stopped this video in order to follow along in mini. You have inspired me.
Fellow Albertan, yes, the cold is a bit much…..but I rediscovered you today! Great video, will be visiting more often!

I feel like the clouds add so much 👌🏻 give it a try!
wow!!!
As a fellow Albertan 💯🥶❄️😭😂 Hiding in the basement doing crafts and not looking out the window is how I’m personally dealing with March-uary 😂
Hahaha omg YES! I literally avoid looking outside as much as I can 🤣
Turned out really cute. You always give me inspiration for my own weavings.
Thank you!! And happy this was inspiring for you 😊

Thank you so much! And I love to hear that it’s sparking ideas for you!
I so love this, I'm going to start weaving very soon, gathering supplies right now. Would you happen to be able to put up a link for the shears ? :)
This is so lovely and what I inspire to as a beginner weaver. May I ask where you get your reclaimed wood dowel?
Thank you! This is a piece of driftwood I think my parent's picked up for me while on Vancouver Island. I live in the prairies so I have very little access to driftwood lol
Do you edit your videos, or did you just make that in under 20 minutes?
Lol definitely edited 😅 this took 3 hours to make
@@spruceandlinen Oh, okay. I was like; HOW IS SHE SO FAST??? I love your work btw.
