      @Ersa0431 5 ปีที่แล้ว +47

    • @withwendy
      @withwendy 5 ปีที่แล้ว +116

      Hi!! Yarns can indeed add up a bit, I was in the $100 range utilizing all the Michaels coupons on I could. And if you're not picky on colour I go straight to the sale section. The nice thing about tapestry is that it is pretty friendly towards odds and ends, which also makes it possible to snag second hand yarns that were not used up in a knitting project.

      i do crochet from time to time, and gurl let me tell you, those yarns that shes using are NOT dyer or vacuum friendly. Any yarn that sheds like that needs to be kept clean without these methods, it could ruin the original texture. That being said, a good way to ensure an easy clean up is to use a bulky t shirt yarn. You can used them online, or recycle by cutting up some old t shirts! This way nothing sheds!!

    Instead of passing the whole ball of yarn you could cut some if it and start weaving little by little, in my opinion it’s better to cut new pieces of yarn than weaving with the whole ball, a personal recommendation. To know how much yarn you might need, measure it above the cords you’ll weave it to and take in count the rows you’ll make.
