Thanks for watching, Ady...As mentioned in that video, these transmissions are quite nuanced, complex and require a fair amount of specialized tooling compared to its contemporary units (700R4, TH350/400, etc). So do watch as much of my playlist as you can, starting with these rebuild videos (and the '200-4R special tools video) to get a comprehensive look at what goes into building these things so you have the full picture and don't inadvertently get in over your head.
I just re-watched it and yes, it sure does...Had to check my photos and realized it was a string of RTV as there's no crack visible in photos taken of that area just before the VB was installed. Plus the shop would have noticed such a large crack when going to stab it...But it definitely looks like a big, giant crack appeared in the case when I installed the seal.
One of my 200-4R rebuild videos should show all the procedures, though it may not be in Part 1 but perhaps Part 2 or Part 3...Check out the 200-4R playlist; let me know if you cannot find what you're looking for and I'll see what I can do.
@@nickstransmissions its the one that you said the camera didnt work on, i got the seal out by installing an appropiate sized lag screw in the seal and prying it out with long nosed needle nose pliers against card board on the case but how do i make sure its flush with the inside the case when i install the new one? thanks in advance for info
@@nickstransmissions is there a trick to making sure the seal is flush and has the right depth? is it important that the seal rides perfectly on the the hardware?
Wish I could find one of these. Watching your video to learn what I may have in store.

Looks like the case cracked at the 6 oclock position when you installed the rear seal.
