Also Kim Katrall is amazing and always has been. Not just on this show but throughout her whole career. I always think Mannequin but it goes back even further. She was the dog howler from porkys. (Which has some good male nudity 😜)

It's a great show and for 4 years now there have been people here and there that watched the first couple of episodes or none at all and they comment about how bad the show is without her. Or how different the show is. The show however is a good show, and in my opinion it's exactly what it needs to be, as it shows the evolution of these women and their lives in what is considered their golden girls years (yes y'all they are the same age now as our beloved golden girls were when it aired) They or their lives are of course not going to be the same as when they were in their late 20s, and their 30s. They have children and families and new friendships at this stage in their lives and I think it's written quite wonderfully. If I want my old school fix I go watch reruns or the movies of the late 90s early 2000s sex and the city. But, I love And Just Like That. All the ones saying it's horrible need to realize we going into season 3 or 4 and it did just fine without Samantha! I could do without a couple of characters though 😂

If she is not at season 3 I'm out. After season Aiden vs Big I watched the rest and two movies just because of Samantha. I really didn't care about S1 of this but I kinda like Miranda and Charlotte but it is just not enough and I end up at ep3/ep4. But after I heard there will be Samantha I survived through S1 and S2 to just see one tiny pieces of her. 💔

Kim has always struck me as a high powered empath, and empaths always get a sh*t deal because people are intimidated by just being in the room with them. None of the ladies may like each other but they can work together in a cameo. Who is close friends with every person you ever worked or went to school with? Let the character move on in her career overseas and have closure so AJLT can move on. I'm sure the other 3 ladies can carry a show. A lot will depend on the writing. Beside the Jr high school comments about the character of Samantha on the first episode, the other characters don't seem to have grown up. Miranda was so out of character she seemed like a totally different one. New possible friends were introduced but didn't seem to have depth. The stories seemed to focus on trying to shock the audience. Hopefully they aren't trying to redo the old show but a new relatable one in current time. Will try to watch again to see if writing gets better.
