Yes...making sure your hair is dry to the core is SO important. I usually dry on day and flat iron the next. I have a RevAir now and it makes a HUGE difference, I can flat iron the same day when I use it but it really pulls that moisture from my cortex.

I’ve been using the redken anti-breakage spray but now I’m going to purchase the shampoo, conditioner and hair mask for silk press season. Can’t wait to see the results!

This video came right when I was thinking about whether to straighten my hair now or later. It hasn't been cold enough for me. NC weather is all over the place. It's in the 70's right now. I don't want my hair reverting after all that work lol. When I'm ready to do it I always follow the glamtwinz method....hasn't failed me yet.

I’d used Redken and Joico years ago and when the formulations changed over the years, I stopped. All Soft was originally Butter Treat that made my hair so soft and you could use it as a leave in.

I use Bumble & Bumble Bonder Repair or Aveda Brilliant Shampoo and conditioner or Aveda Smoothing Shampoo and conditioner. Theses work for me on Flat ironed hair.

Whenever I wash my hair I put my combs and brushes in the sink so they get washed as well. Thanks for the great tips.
