That top bolt holding in the two upper control arms for me, has one end becoming brittle and the other end with the nut, not moving at all. I need some heat and a new bolt. Yours here came undone so easily... I have such a huge nightmare ahead of me, thankfully it's only one side i've worked on, but the driver side may be the same.
Don’t bother with the control arm bolt. It will break by now, stuck to the aluminium Compress the spring s in place and do the change while on the car.
