Excellent pickups, really like the Krugerrands. They are 22 carrot gold just like the American eagles and extremely well known all over the world. Thanks for sharing.
Yes they are. Interestingly the two most popular (arguably) gold coins in the world-American Eagle and SA Krugerrand, THE original and official gold investment coins are 22k and by definition are not IRA eligible investments. Curious why this is, I'm sure it's not a coincidence..
One of the things I like most about JM Bullion is their packaging. Now that is the way to ship thousands of dollars worth of gold coins. You know some dealers actually ship 3,4,5 gold coins in a padded envelope?! Unacceptable. Very nice unboxing Nick. You add huge amounts to your stack with every video update.. Keep 'em coming!
Kruggerands...Yuk! My last choice for Gold bullion coins. I do like how you’re able to purchase multiple Gold coins at one time...impressive...jealous.
So easy to sale too - You can mail them unlike silver which is just too heavy. I make good money as a middle person who buys for others who want to buy and own without the gold buys under their names. Not long ago I had a client who wanted 40 Krugerrands so I was able to get them easily enough for this person and meet him in a restaurant where he paid my 50 dollar hand off fee. It is a easy and great business anyone can get into as many people want gold but don't want anyone knowing they bought it.
How sad all you are touching is plastic. Krugerrands are 22 carrot so just hold the actual coin! Unless it’s a very rare date or a proof coin, getting fingerprints on it does not hurt the value. Gold is gold. Don’t you get tired touching plastic all the time???
Yeah, I don't get tired of touching the plastic. Ironically, it's probably the numismatic coins that I end up handling more - just with clean hands and a loupe. I guess I just get tired of handling common date krugerrands.
It's amazing how beautiful Gold coins are even when they're decades old. Congrats.

The thing is they're durable. People don't complain about scratches like with maples.
beautiful pickup
Nice. Look better than my QB for sure.
Do you think the Kruggerand is more durable than the American Eagles ?? I am interested in getting some, but would like to carry them on me.
Dang, I need to switch professions to be able to buy 5-10 1oz gold coins at a time lol.

I got PF 1968 cameo one only 1044 minted the rest were only one of their sides frosted

About $1200 an oz back then, about 600 more today.
Nice unboxing if you had to choose between an Gold American Eagle and a Krugerrand which would you choose?
Looks wise tough call both are great but cost wise the Krugerrand has a lower price in the UK
Will always choose American first but that is a tough one!
