Regarding 2:10, the Krugerrand's composition is 22 karat gold which is 91.67% gold + 8.33% copper. This is known as Crown gold and was introduced in England by King Henry VIII in 1526. Crown gold is used for the minting of British gold sovereigns Their Crown gold alloy composition is the reason why British gold sovereigns and Krugerrands have the same colour.

Tha Rand also refers to the Witwaterand were gold is found in South Africa. Hence why the Rand is called the Rand.

Rand comes from Witwatersrand, which is where gold miners came during the gold rush.

I thought when I looked at mine yesterday, compared to the kangaroos, "Why do they look coppery?" 91% gold, and yes, they have copper content.

Not sure about shipping to Brazil, but either new or older Krugerrands are good investments in my opinion.

The krugerrand was my first gold coin, I love the American Buffalo Gold coin 9999, krugerrand is crown gold, thank king Henry the eighth for that.
