Hello, I believe that building in the corner is just a temporary workshop. The majority of the walls are shipping containers. The sloped roof is different and makes it look permanent, but I would guess a sloped roof is recommended for that region due to snow load. I think there are similar looking workshop areas at giga Texas (just with flat roofs).
Great videos but just a tip… I am sure you know the directions, north south etc. However you are there, people (most i think) have no idea what direction you are talking about even if viewed many times. If you want to continue referring to directions then add a compass to the screen please
Those are the megachargers that have been there for several years. I’m looking for the new ones that Tesla revealed a couple das ago. I have a tip on where they may be b
It would be nice, as long as you are flying, if you could do a circumnavigation of the entire Giga Nevada for people interested in more than the Semi factory.
Great progress. Thanks for the updates. Appears section SF does have skylights that match what is shown in the finished design, but section SA does not have skylights, even though the finished design shows it should. Curious?
@Zanegler, I strongly suggest you make some overlays to put on your videos showing how the completed sections of the factory would look like. This would be especially helpful if you also add the section numbers such as section ‘SF’, ‘SA’, etc you refer to. Also can include compass bearings! Thanks for all your work!
Really excellent suggestions but I am just a Tesla Semi Advocate and a neophyte with video production. If you look at my earliest videos I think you see I strive to improve incrementally and commensurate with the growth of the channel.
@@BigGlock1776 and as of Dec 3 video, it's not. I do think I'll reiterate that the decking will be done and insulated by Christmas week. There is probably about 2 weeks worth of work there to get the last decking, insulation in place - but I'll give you a mulligan on the enclosed as they often leave things open for ready access. Takes time getting the inside to the point you can button it up fully with walls etc. They're making good progress.
@@BigGlock1776 December 21 film, still not all insulated (2 entire roof sections needing that) , nor 2 walls enclosed and it doesn't look like intentional access gaps. The decking is knit in place... Lots still left to complete and given a holiday week, things will likely tail off as guys take off for some holiday relief. You can never tell on big projects, someone might be holding things back to let settling etc happen and for unseen things to complete/arrive etc. It's Sunday before Christmas as I write. Looks like I'm not too far off on completetion; you can always count on construction looking blazing, then lethargic and someone finds a burst of need and stuff flies into place. ( 10 days before a critical move-in, I'd never have expected a project I bird-dogged to get done on time, and we had moving trucks backing up to the dock as the carpet finishers finally got my sign-off. )
@@BigGlock1776 Well, Christmas week has come and passed and the only thing you have left is unbridled optimism. Still 2 sections of the 6 un-insulated ! So, put a little reality into your projections - 1) Construction is almost always later than expected and 2) See #1, Telsa isn't anything magic in this regard. :)
You say a little forced "Section SF". I would suggest to say "Section F". It sounds much more natural. The S means of course Section. Why say Section Section F.
Thanks from Canada. Man that place is going up fast!🤯
It sure took a lot of Diesel powered equipment to built that place. Couldn't have been built without it

The speed of construction is amazing. 👍👍
Mind-boggling Tesla speed.
I like that choice of insulated wall panel for that extreme environment of hot and cold.
Great videos but just a tip…

Joe Tegtmeyer starts his Giga Austin videos with a map of the entire site.
They will have the main structure finished before 1 january 2025 for sure. Awesome pace of construction!
thank you from Hungary, have a nice weekend
Glad you like it! Love the international reach and enjoy hearing where you are watching from.
The v4 chargers are at the southeast (panasonic side) of giga. Behind the cell recycling facility 😊

Thank you!
You're welcome!
Thanks!
10:57. Temporary structure? Looks that way in your 'Tour the Tesla Semi Factory Construction Circumnavigation Site' at 0.03.
Hello from Canada, keep up the good work.
Appreciate the positive feedback!

No can do. Sorry. Look back at my earliest videos for a few of these.
FANTASTIC VIDEO, from Spain
Thank you very much!
Great progress. Thanks for the updates.

Outstanding Zane.
🤗THANKS ZANEGLER FOR 🥶 PERSEVERING 👍🔋🔋🔋
As a longtime supporter, You know what I went through to get here. A David versus Goliath tale.
Fantastic video the progress just amazes me
Thanks and this project took a long time before Elon approved of the final design but now it is really moving.
I think this is not a giga factory , it's just a Nirmal factory , not small not big not huge !! ❤
4 million square feet of manufacturing space is huge
@Russ1956 so its not over 10 millions square feet !?? So its a normal factory

Wow, I can’t believe how far they’ve come!
Great from Belgium !!

looks pretty windy. Tough to fly?
Good vid. from New Zealand

Factory is looking great! Thanks for the content.
looks like about 6 weeks it should all be erected, decked and roof insulation in place, so by Christmas week ?
WAYY faster than Christmas week. They have made MAJOR headway in the last 2-3 weeks. I say by Dec 1st its fully enclosed

@@lylestavast7652 Makes me feel good knowing my 1 internet comment lived rent free in your head for a month.
great video
what a deserted land, this could be so much forest on these mountains, hills
Northern Nevada is in the rainshadow of the Sierra Nevada mountains. The wild mustangs and bighorn sheep love it.
@ZaneglerTeslaSemiStalker-vt3or big erosion of soil...
So, while Texas was built as 3 long narrow buildings, Nevada is being build as 6 block
buildings.
!
They raised the first steel column on August 24th. Not even three months ago.
Maybe the extra building is going to be the service shop?
Possibly but I don’t think it is big enough. They may use the existing pilot production line building for that.
@@ZaneglerTeslaSemiStalker-vt3or They are currently using the pilot building for Service.
What about the floor?
On which date will we see the first semi roll out of this building? Please reply with your best guess.
not likely many before 4Q2025
garage door is off....
"...hands were frozen blocks of ice", that was funny. You might need some ski gloves and ear muffs soon.
I have the gear for fishing but hard to operate the drone joysticks.
Elon's new _safe house_ .
You show no key to understand the sections you call out!
Not a lot of pride being shown for the flag! Hoisted too high and frayed on the end.🇺🇸😢

Almost done? LOL 😂
It’ll probably take over another year to be operational…
Lol back. I’m referring to the building not the production-line
8-9 months operational.
