The whiteboard idea is great! It makes it much easier than messing around with digital tools, which can be distracting during a Zoom call. Great video and very helpful during this time. Thanks!

Great video Chris, thanks for sharing what's worked for you. The physical whiteboard is a great idea 👍

Start your day right by waking up on time, meditating, and putting yourself in a positive mindset! ✊🏻

Hi Chris, I love your tips! I'm going to use: (1) thumbs up, thumbs down (2) Hands up if... (3) Put in the comments what %... One tool I've been using to gain audience interaction is Mentimeter - it's a free audience participation tool, it's been brilliant for larger meetings!

The clocks on the map are most interesting here. Looks like a good app idea.

thanks! yes, I was unable to buy anything like it so I made it all myself - got the map from amazon, bought some 24 hour clock mechanisms and then printed out the circles, laminated them, and assembled it all.....

We have a lot of folks who come on meetings audio only.
What do you suggest to increase participation in video?

I think the main two choices are either to demand that they have video as well ~ say it’s a condition of joining, ....or to say “that’s fine if you want to be audio only that’s up to you”, it’s kind of their loss I think, - if I’m running a session I don’t mind if there’s a few people tagging along with audio only. But I do think it’s a bit rude if they can see me and I can’t see them, but maybe that’s only my opinion.

Great video Chris, thanks. I am stickler when it comes to people not having their camera on. To me it’s rude, because if I’m hosting and don’t have my video on and the audience only hear my voice, to me that comes across as inconsiderate. I also have found that the levels of engagement are much higher across the group when cameras are on, as we can all see facial expressions and body language.

Hi Chris, thanks for the video but I'm not going to be a trainer. My son bought an IKEA sit/stand table www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/bekant-corner-desk-right-sit-stand-white-s09061169/ which he likes and he has a couple of monitors on it. It come in different surfaces and it right or left sided. It's a bit buzzy when moving up or down. I have no connection with IKEA other than my wife keeps buying their products.

I dont have just an hour lol I have to get a training class ready to do political fundraising calls in two days. I have people on their cell phones and some try to lay down. I need to keep their attention and teach them in a hurry. Lol
