Because at my office most of the office patients are non english or spanish speakers sometimes they don't Bite fully so I have to show them my teeth..and show them my teeth together smile..or I always place a cotton so it more confortable..or I aim the cone coming from the back slightly and place the cone closer to the jaw..😊
I hear you, I was humbled today and I have been a CDA for nine years! BW are still hard for me, it’s a hit or miss honestly. I take the best BW when I use film, but more practices are upgraded to digital now. I just want to take a perfect BW with confidence
@@valisa3874 I'm getting much better xrays now especially with adults, but I still struggle with kids. I realize now that bad xrays could be contributed by a patient who does not cooperate well and/or if they are only biting on a film with no grip support.
I've watched 3x trying to figure it out, best I can say is they are talking about angling the tubehead from the mesial side of the molars, and distal side of premolars. I have radiology tomorrow so I'm going to try it out.
WHY DO WE NOT HAVE YOU GUYS AS OUR INSTRUCTORS? LOL :'(
Can you explain how to line up the sensor to get the open contact
Bite wings are easy what's hard for me is the Posterior PA's especially the lower ones it'd be nice if we had guide rings
What do you use?
Guide rings
Everyone is different

@@avarachika You know dental x rays are dangerous?
@@tubularcandy812 yes, we do know which is why we minimize retakes.
What does she mean when she says, the angle to open up molar contacts is from the mesial and to open up premolar contacts is from the distal?

I still don’t get it after I watch it
Me
basically, overlapping is caused bc your x-ray beam isn’t parallel to the film
Very helpful! thanks!
oh! I was wondering what that artifact was at the edges of my x-rays! 😏 oops
