- The Rhinoshield SolidSuit use to be one of my favorite cases when it came to the iPhone, but the recent changes has pushed me away. While its still a solid case, some improvements here and there could make this case be one of the greats again!

I really love all of your videos! You keep it really honest and straightforward. When can I expect a Best Cases for the iPhone 15 Pro Max video? I’m thinking for myself the Mous Limitless 5.0 or the Speck Presidio 2 Grip.
At the moment im using a solidsuit. But your right, a bit more grip would be nice.
100% agree the old case design was practically perfect. Just missed the magsafe. New design is softer and also not as snug and grippy. The new design forced me to look elsewhere. Thats how it goes if you a case snob and care about the details.

I had one in the cart the other day but I figured it was slippery and I think I prefer the Synthesis anyway in this class of case. I used to love that case.
I’m a Rhinoshield fan, but use their Mod NX bumper with my XS. I’m planning on doing the same when I upgrade next year - haven’t decided on colour or Pro Model yet, though.

Hey Tee, to shut off Emergency SOS (when testing out the lock button) go to settings, scroll to Emergency SOS, then shut off the “call with 5 button presses”

Loved the older rhinoshield cases. I use to throw my phone to people if they missed oh well, hit the ground perfectly fine. For some reason these new cases I can drop my phone from any height and it'll pop out of case. It almost ejects the phone out. I break a screen protector just about every other week now. It use to drop like a champ.
What's your opinion about BURGA cases? Are they worth it and protective?

Wonder if the moment lense square would fit with the ring removed thinking of modding my pitaka removing the inner ring so I can get a moment adapter and moondog 52 mm filter adapter for anamorphic lense. Love the pitaka case
Does the fit still degrade after taking the phone in and out of the case over time? I know it used to do that a with the older design.
I honestly love the Camouflage Solid Suit. And I wish they’d make the Carbon Fiber one with Magsafe, I don’t get why they didn’t when the Magsafe ring is in the inside, it doesn’t make sense.

The newest clear case fits tighter and gives more grip.
I have 2 caudabe sheaths in grey and blue, the phone rebel gen 5, andar aspen in red on the way, also just did the cobalt blue solidsuit with black buttons , and a custom solid suit with some rifles on the back, can’t wait, also Seattle Seahawks all the way , along with Vegas golden knights

I have the white SolidSuit for 15 Pro Max and you can DEFINITELY see, and even subtly feel the MagSafe magnet array in the back of the case.
How has the white held up?

@@laurarodriguez752it is not terribly slippery (like gloss plastic or metal), but it is also not super grippy (like silicone).
Thought about the SolidSuit but ended up with the Defender Pro XT which is a great case. Hopefully, Technically Tee will show Otterbox some love.
Ehhh u will be lucky if he does otterbox is definitely lower tier cases now days, so many better companies available

Ive used Rhinoshield Solid Suits since the iPhone 11 but their new design for the 15 sucks!
It’s so slippery and is a fingerprint/scratch magnet. I miss their old textured material that felt solid,didn’t stain or leave fingerprints..
Also, my MagSafe magnet fell off the case after taking it off and on too many times. It’s just stuck on with glue from factory.
Waiting for my Caudabe Synthesis to arrive in the mail to replace it.

OG Rhinoshield fan & yes, those things are a wet bar of soap. However the MagSafe…BEST IN THE CASE GAME!
The ESR magnets are even stronger, but these are also really great
OG here too, been buying rhinoshield cases since iPhone 6s and I love them but this last 2 years they change a lot I don’t know how I feel about that.😢
I have a 14 Pro with issues and I want to trade it in.
Should I trade in to 15 Pro Max or wait for 16 Pro Max or get a 13 Pro cheaper from eBay? I just want a stable phone with a great battery life like the 13 Pro Max.
I had a solidsuit for my 13 pro max and it was just a little too bulky for me. Definitely preferred the caudabe sheath over the solidsuit.

i don't know what their old design looks like and how it compares with the new design, can you explain what's worst about this new design?
I have the mod nx for the 15 pro max, & the clear case & I love both of them. But the mod nx is my favorite. I absolutely love it. I will be getting more rim colors so I can switch out the backplates & stuff. I love ESR as well. & the Andar aspen with the button for the action button. Those are the only 3 cases I will probably ever get again.
Does your clear case have wobbly buttons? Mine on my 14pm wobbles which irritates me.

Tee, you forget to comment on the new and improved Camera Ring design. The previous design with the weird line was horrible to look at.
Rhinoshield IMO seems good since they make their new case colors/designs compatible with the older iPhone models. That new Glacier Blue color seems to match with the Sierra Blue iPhone 13PM.
I wish Mous/Pitaka/Phone Rebel made their new and improved cases compatible with the old 13 Pro Maxes.

And I was shocked at the lack of coverage on these cases. But now it’s all good cause the king of cases is on it!!😭🫡
Okay watched the video and I agree, the case is slippery as hell, I’ve notice if your hands are moisturized it’s not that bad, but I have a pop socket so I think I’ll be okay. The magnets are strong as hell which is a plus, and the protection is top notch.

I had a CF Solid Suit on my 12PM it was really good. I’ve since switched to Pitaka MagEZ Pro and there’s no going back now…
Until you drop it on a rough surface and that aramid fiber on the back is destroyed. It does not hold up to drops.
@@evanl889 Dropped mine a few times and it’s fine. There’s a few marks on it but no more than any case would have.

I had a Rhionshield clear case on my iPhone 14 Pro last year. The camera ring fell off and it was lost. I did not even attempt to buy Rhinosield this year for my iPhone 15 Pro.
They fixed that on the new version.
You think the Rhinoshield is better than the Caudabe Sheath? I like the sheath, but I like the color of the Rhinoshield better
I don't know why more companies don't follow the Caseology method of adding grip to the sides of their cases such as the Athlex or Nano Pop.
Caudabe sheath has Amazing grip on the sides, phone rebel gen 5 is top notch side grips
@@gtiguy1992able I swear people either think the Sheath is super grippy or super slick. I unfortunately fall into the slick category. I ordered the Gen 5 regular and frosted to try. I actually REALLY love this $10 Caseology Athlex but it has no magnets.

Dude the Rhinoshield cases are so bulky. You should test the Burga Cases if haven't done so already. They are way slimmer with great protection

I’ve been considering this case in stone beige for months.
The only problems are the removable camera frame which can fall out and the fact it’s so slippy.
Hopefully they change the material

Nope that is something they improved, the camera ring does not fall out on its own, it’s very hard to remove even when u try, and it’s not difficult but a bit tricky to get it back on
