Needed a face shield and found your video to help me pick my color. It's $40 everywhere, but I bought from you guys because of the extra effort to make a great comparison video!
It'd be awesome if you could do this for the black helmets (rubatone) considering that more people are interested in that color than white.

Get Lowered Cycles I would personally love to see the difference between the light and dark smoked visor on a black helmet. Revzilla is sold out of all black helmets for the Airflite model and I'm sure the shields are flying off the shelf too. It'd be great if you could replicate this video with all shields on the black helmets.

Here's a novel idea, since we already know what they look like from the outside, how about showing what the view looks like through the visor from the inside!

You could open your eyes and notice that you can see the contrast against the white helmet to determine the color of the tint or better yet, make your own video. This guy has only 4k subscribers and is doing a pretty good job for a new channel.

I have the QUICK SILVER AIRFLITE with RST Silver and RST Blue , both look amazing, highly recommended.
Limited Edition Patriot nothing beats the chrome shield on the silver helmet. thats what i have and its amazing
I'm wondering with this helmet and those colored Shields can you see at night? I was thinking it may be hard to see so can you do a clear visor with colored shield?

Curious how the shield is holding up, and is it too dark to use at night? Thanks in advance.
@@TRU_Lunchy still holding up great. Only thing is the area where I open and close the helmet the finish has worn off a bit. You can wear it at night and still see, but not as nearly as good without. I wouldnt recommended it. I switch to clear when I do night rides with it.

One thing really confuses me are the Colors beween the ECE 22.05 & ECE 22.06. It looks like they really changed the colors with the ECE 22.06 Versions but I just can't find them with the never versions and I need the ECE 22.06 RST Purple Version so badly. 😓

We'd only recommend using a clear visor for riding at night.
It is fairly difficult using the mirror shield at night. Doable.... but difficult none the less

Some of them are but the dark coloured visors like black definitely not. The yellow or pink one would be ok but obviously clear visor for night time riding is the best.

One of the worst helmets I ever owned. Every helmet in every brand I've owned for last 40 years been size XL. ICON, even in size XXL is just way too tight. At speeds over 40mph it's just way too loud and that's on a motorcycle with windshield (Concours 1400). It looks real cool, but that's about all. Even inside material is somewhat cheap.
Awesome video. Keep these up... Very helpful! Always better to see it before you buy!
