Check out my new helmet from Icon, my first ever by the brand, fairs on a winter ride in Milwaukee (40 degrees Fahrenheit riding at and below 50mph). Equipped with the RST Purple face shield, the visor is a semi-translucent mirror and adds a really nice touch to the Quicksilver Airflite helmet (mine is a size small). Awesome Meghan! ALL my helmets are Icon. The helmet I ride with on my Triumph Thruxton R is the Airframe Pro Quicksilver. The finish is exactly like yours! This helmet is track ready and gives great upward visibility for sport bike riding. It's carbon, Kevlar composite construction. It is also BEAUTIFUL to look at because of it's hand done finish. You made a great choice Lady!! Perfect helmet for you and your style and safety.... Your channel is the best!

I am a Icon Helmet FAN!! I ride with the AirFrame Pro in the Quicksilver. I also ride with the AirMada helmets. The AIRFRAME pro is great on the Thruxton because of the increase in vision in the tucked riding position. You look BEAUTIFUL in that helmet Lady!!!

I've just ordered my first Icon .. The Airflite Stealth.. super stoked to give it a run once I get it.
The icon is great for the summer, good airflow, and the visor pops up easily when you need some air at a red light. My only complaint is that the drop down does feel like it captures heat in the height of summer. I like keeping the shades down to preserve my privacy when my visor is up, but in the heat it can be uncomfortable. They don't fog though, I'll give them that.
I've got exactly same helmet except the visor and is awesome. Quiet, nice silver brushed finish and stylish too.
I like my airflite helmet. Not bad wind noise. Great field of veiw. Great video.

'Love the new ICON helmet and its brushed (or lightly-polished?) metal-look finish. Being relatively quieter and having a shield that stays shut are also desirable. Perfect for doing "The Hula" in a hurricane.

The icon helmet looks sick, yours especially. I’ve been using the rf-1200 and have my Cardo fitted into it. Couldn’t recommend it more as far as comfort. Excited to try out the new shoei glamster next year. Looks very vintage while having the modern bells and whistles.

Great review! Wish my head would fit into Icon helmets better, I have the Airframe Pro, but I get pressure points on my temples because my head is more of a square/round shape than oval.

Oh sweet. A lot quieter than the Bell Qualifier. Yep I want one now. I have a Bell Qualifier and it can get noisy on freeway speeds.

I bought my Icon AirFlite helmet for exactly the same reason.. winter.
However, I haven't used it much because winter isn't a very prominent season here in southern Louisiana.
Also, I've always worn a 3/4 helmet so a full face is a little foreign for me. Hopefully I will get opportunities to rock the Airflite and get used to it.

Great review! I needed to see what it looks like while riding. It's weird but helmets look in different when actually riding. Some helmets i thought I didn't like the looks of ends up looking really good while in a riding posture. How heavy is it?

you can convert the helmet to a supermoto/motocross helmet too! just pop off the shield and throw in your choice of goggles!
I wear a MT stinger spike with a blue tinted visor that I got for 100 bucks and it has never let me down

Hi what's the vision like at night on this colour visor? I've a gold, and clear. I'm looking for a blue one or green but living in the UK it's dark a lot of the time.

I love this helmet, too bad it probably won't fit my massive head. The coolest part is that you can change a few parts and it becomes a dual sport helmet!
i have massive head too XD, and my airlfite fits perfect (size XL).
Just received mine and my body looks so small with it on my head 😂 But the style is incredible.
Icon is a great brand, loved them from when I first started riding. But I gotta say I’m not a fan of the airflite. It just looks ‘off’. Great review video tho!
To each their own! This is my first Icon helmet, but my brother has had 2 of the Variant helmets. Very cool look!

I think it's pretty good! It's not the quietest helmet on the market, but certainly a step up from all my other helmets and it does good enough for motovlogging purposes too. At the moment I'm not an Icon retailer but we are in talks about it! Hopefully this year
I've been riding with this exact Icon airflite color and visor since the beginning of the year. I have yet to find anyone with a matching helmet but now I gotta find a way to make mine unique and one of a kind again!😂😂😭😭
Haha I'm coming for your brand! I had actually wanted the green visor but they were out of stock. That one may still come in later. The purple blue looks amazing though!

I use North Face ski gloves in our winter in the UK and they are nice and warm, how does the jacket fair. Can't believe your bike has only done 3000 miles, my MT07 is less than a year old and it's done 6600 miles. And I must say you are a lovely looking woman.
Ah yeah, I do a lot of traveling and borrowing other bikes. All in all I don't do many long rides, I'm more in the city. The jacket is great! It's a vintage ski jacket and really blocks out the wind. Thanks for watching!
There's a mount made for the holes in the front
I have seen that on Amazon, but it's not easily removable from my understanding. It has to be secured with adhesive and then stays on the helmet at all times. I really like being able to take all my mounting accessories off for a clean look!

once the mount is on, it sure is hard to get it off again. Though for Motovlogs, an easy solution is to simply buy another Visor on which the Vlogging equipment stays permanently. One visor for Videos, one for conventional riding. Hope I could help you! ;)

Omg, you are so cute, you have a neon light of your last name on the wall! I could imagine seeing those only in the bachelor's cribs. It's like a man's cave.
BTW, you didn't say anything about the fit of the helmet and size you got. Is it Snug enough? Have you tried it with the glasses?

I got a size small and it was nice and snug! I think I'll do a follow up blog posts on this and get into the nitty gritty on measurements and weight. I have only ridden with it 2x so far, and the temps are dangerously low for riding lately. Hopefully they'll bounce back and I'll be able to try out the inside visor and have more to say!

Nice helmet though, I have the icon Fayder but it only came with a transparent shield, I have ordered a Red rst shield and red rst spoiler with it. Can't wait for it to arrive 😃

Can you see clearly at night with that visor?
Yes it is semi-translucent and lets some good light in. But I was riding in the city, I'm not sure if it will still let in enough light in rural areas.
