Hi Glenn, seems a good idea, I look forward to seeing the tent pitched and this mod in situ. Also very odd how they've put that one eye and guy rope bit upside down... I'll have to check my Cloud Peak 2 now and see if I have the same problem! Not long now and Spring will be rolling around.
I'm glad that I didnt use glue (hadn't thought about it here tho) as I tried to use glue in a later video when (trying to) attaching velcro. The glue made it impossible to pass a sewing needle thro' as the needle would get coated in glue and get stuck halfway thro. I think it MIGHT have been possible with certain 'soft' glues after allowing several hours for it to dry. If I ever do something similar, I will try and remember this and try a bit to see what happens. Good thinking on your part tho.
