It took me a second or 2 to realise what you was refering to - then I had a darn good laugh. Brilliant observation, proper made my day that did. And sending you a bit of the force as well!
Hi Glenn, I am a 65 year old Aussie, my list of health issues matches yours and I can add type 2 Diabetes. I too get the shakes caused by nerve damage in my lower back a result of partial fusion of my lumbar vertebra. Soon as I start to shake I know I must sit for a few minutes to relieve the pressure and pain. I have a Cloud Peak 2, and the same gas stove, hint1: I carry a throw away aluminum baking dish, crunched up in my pack to sit my gas burner in. If you get a larger one it can be bent to act as a wind break for the burner also. I live in the sub tropics plenty of rain so I pitch my tent under a ultra light tarp (5.7m x 3.6m) that way I am not compelled to say in the tent when rain persists. Can I suggest you add extensions to both entry points to you cloud peak 2 hood, hot glue and sew the extensions, add aluminum eyelets for tie cords to the front corners long enough so they can be either tied to your tent poles or tied to sticks like a pergola. Place wider hems on the front and back of the extensions leave the stitching open at one end so 3-4mm solid plastic tube can be added for rigidity. I can not sit on the ground like you do, I last about 30 seconds before by lower back explodes in pain and I shake so hard I can not hold anything; so I carry Nemo Moonlite recliner ultralight chair, I hacked it to double the height of the legs to approx 500mm, to make it easier to get in and out of. The adjustable straps on the chair allow the back of the chair to be straightened or laid back depending on what I am doing. I use the straps to help get in and out of the chair to. I carry it in a dry stuff sack. I could not get in or out of your chair. Check out the 'Flextailgear Max Plus pro' they are brilliant, light powerful have an in built lights, hanging hook, and can be used to recharge phones camera batteries, etc check them out. I use a 210cm x 70cm x100mm inflatable mattress, the flextail inflates it in a minute or so, will do that more the 12 times before needing recharging. You can tell how old a male is by how much noise they make when they sit and stand. LOL By the way England is one of the most multi cultural countries on the planet, the 2000 year history of London reinforces that statement. Without that multi culturalism England would not have become head of the Commonwealth, maybe it's time you carried a history book or two when camping. lol. You forget England would have been completely destroyed during WW2 if it hadn't been for the Commonwealth forces, 30 thousand Aussie RAAF personal alone, Polish pilots in the battle of Britain, service men and woman from all over Europe and the USA. Never let your age make you cynical or racist, I was so disappointed I decided not to subscribe to your channel. Remember 'the Law of One'. One race, Human, One family Man. If the world imagines peace it must rise from these virtues, Appreciation, Understanding, Humility, Compassion, Forgiveness, and Valor.
Hello down under! I really like the idea of extensions to the rain hood - I hadn't thought of that one. Sorry you were sisappointed with some of my remarks. I can promise you that I am most definitely NOT racist (thought I said that in my rant) - I have had many friends of various nationalities throughout the years. As I said though, I am ANTI ILLEGAL economc migrants. I used to live in a town where, when walking to the shops, I was made to feel like a tourist in a foreign country, and yes that did make me feel uncomfortable. Would be better if immigrants (legal or otherwise) at least took the trouble to learn the basic language of the country they wish to reside in! Anyways, enough of that. I wish you many happy days under the tent / tarp. Stay safe.
ALL lives matter if anyone feels the need to put ANY colour in front of that statement is the racist one! Peace and love to EVERY human being be them black white pink brown be them gay lesbian straight or transgender be them English French German or anything else each and every one of us is a human we all bleed RED!
