It was so good to see Mr. Potatohead! Adaptability is one of the skills he learned on the streets. He looked very happy. He knows he is safe and loved. What a great place for him to be! If he had the chance to see you again, he would smother you with excited affection.
Peru is a beautiful country nice people, you are safe there, you can eat well, breath clean air and it is affordable living. Here in US the situation is bad, TX is getting worse, we are in quarantine since March, Thank you for showing those beautiful places, be safe and God bless you!
you guys are the best travelers in the world, you guys enjoy the little things that you can find on this places, and that is the best part of travel, I am from Perú, i live in Arequipa
I love the thumb nail! I'm so jealous you guys are having so much fun and I have to stay here and build a greenhouse in the heat lol. The wing on the tuk-tuk must add so much more speed.
I’m very happy to have seen 😍😍😍 🙏🙏🙏Mister Potatoes again, thank you so much guys!!! But I’m worry because the cases are creasing, take good care of yourself Alex and Lindsey, many blessings for you 🤗🤗❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏!!!
Eucalyptus Globulus is one of the best oils (from the leaves) for the lungs. Take some home. It will help purify the air. Rub some on skin or wear on body.
Guys ,is Oxapampa and Pozuzo towns in your trip plans? It's nature as well.its a few hours away from Pisac. There is a waterfall there as well with creeks, rivers etc.Pozuzo, is a small german colony. You may love it there .You may not want to leave. The germans folks there didn't and made it their home. There is a long bridge to cross..like the one you saw earlier video.I think that bridge works compare to the other one the incas built.I hope you consider ..it will make a great series.😎
Thanks for sharing all these videos, Alex and Lindsey! I really appreciate you guys are still visiting Perú and hope soon we have again many visitors from all over the world. We all are struggling with these hard hard times. Not in Peru at the moment since I moved to Canada before the pandemics, but always thinking about my home nation and all the amazing places that might not be there anymore when I come back. This actually makes me feel so sad, however I still confident in the people's ability to reinvent and surge over and over again. As long as traditions can be maintained, the essence of these magical places will perdure and their people will find a way to figure it out. I would have really loved you had the chance to go to Paucartambo for the celebration of Virgen del Carmen (This year didn't happen cause obvious reasons) a whole piece of tradition and symbology as a result of the mix between Andean and European religions. Best of luck to both of you!
Pisac, Huaraz / Caraz for mountains, Puscana on the coast near Lima if you get to these places- and I'm from the UK, currently in lockdown in Ecuador. Keep up the great content :)
Congratulations guys... happy you reached 10K subscribers.... you deserve more,... my humble opinion, is that Ollantaytambo is a good option... since there are many place nearby like Inca ruins or Skylode (hanging hotel) and also you would be close to train station to Mucchu Picchu when it gets opened.
Great tip about the water in the smoothies. Wow that river is nice! What a completely weird time we are living in. Worldwide... Just crazy. That is an adorable studio.
CongratZ its 10k !!! Keep showing Peru to us beyond what we usually see on postcards , Im from other continent but there are some similarities on culture .😍
Stay in pisac. If you prefer more food variety then go to cusco. Ollantaytambo is too small and would get boring faster. Pisac has a nice expat group so you could meet others while hanging out there. Try chilcano soup if you can find it in pisac. A Peruvian hangover cure ;)
Hello guys, nice video , glad that you are able to explore new places under the covid time. Thanks for the update of Mr potato head, he looks so cute and very happy.😆
Well the famous Pisac market is on Sundays and is famous because many people from other towns come down with their products and make the trueque. You should go to Pikillacta and Andahuaylillas.

@@karenvickery6070 that's very odd, here in Peru a vast majority use the leaves to help you against asthma, and nowadays specially against Covid along with other herbs, I just saw today a family who recovered from Covid breathing the infusion of eucaliptus. From Lima - Peru 🇵🇪 , nice to see your videos , thanks for show us , beautiful scenaries and nice food of a part of my beautiful country , be safer together guys i will send the best wishes . I miss cuzco i hope to come back very soon . Usa friends welcome !!!
Lockdown location suggestions; I did not stay in Pisca so cannot comment. In ollantaytambo you are right in the middle of so many ruins (some that did not require an entrance to enter but I did not see all) in also a small town, but is the starting off point for the classic inca trail hike so has many accommodations, a couple of bank machines and food options. Point to consider if it does go in lockdown not sure if all ruins will be accessible. And you already know Cusco, hope this helps :)
Right, it's important for you guys to have access, not only to groceries, but also to an ATM where you can get money from. Does Pisac have that option?
Thank you for giving Mr. Potato a family, I love his videos because they show the beauty of Peru and its beautiful mountains, if you can go to Ollantaytambo and if you can stay at the hotel on the cliffs, it would be cool. Greetings from Paris. 🥰🇵🇪❤🇨🇵
Hi Lindsay and Alex, I highly recommend to visit Ollantaytambo I've had a wonderful experience over there it is simply a beautiful place to spend some time. Have fun guys.
From sacred valley cities , Ollantaytambo is a wonderful place, plenty of restaurants, plenty places for tourists, beautiful incas streets and quite close to Machupichu.
Hey guys ! ...if u r still in Pisac , there ' s a store in the corner where the artisan Mkt that sells beautiful cozy sleepers (made out of sheep wool ) very WARM & nice designs. The " tuck tuck are called in Thailand , in Peru , they are call MOTOTAXI .🇵🇪❤👍

Hello guys! Good to know that Potato is happy in his new home. I live in Lima and cases are rising but ONLY in some areas of Lima. For example , if you decide to stay in the district of Miraflores (safe area), you can enjoy walking to "el Malecon", amazing sunsets and good food . In my opinion, it is not a very good idea to stay in Cuzco because lockdown is likely to come back. But I don't think we have lockdown again in Lima. A big hug!
Mototaxi! Hi guys! Thanks for the updates and great videos! Much appreciated! Even on a isolated road as long you are out in public you must keep your cubre bocas on! If you are not arrested than you can face a fine. They are strict for a reason and it would make locals at ease. My spouse is back in Lima continuing studies.. This week my in-laws have pneumonia have tested positive CV. Please be careful always! Yes I miss Mr. Potato el perro mas Peruano que la papa!
Unfortunately Peru is one of the most affected countries in South America with the pandemic even though they were strict. We are living day by day. The Universe is giving us the chance to learn how to be a better humans beings. 🤗❤️
I'm working remotely and have my tv on with your videos... :D . I can't top watching you!! lol .. I enjoy very much your Cusco quarantine videos,...your scares with the police, B&B changes,...you guys discovering Cusco even though everything is closed ....You ask sometimes to give you suggestions to go see.....I have one for you... I saw on on another video Waqrapukara...it's spectacular.......I fell in love with Mr. Potatoehead ...I cried too on the episode you got emotional....I'm glad you found a nice place for him. Wish you the best! You have a very pleasant way of narrating and doing your videos.... Congratulations!
Aww thanks so much for watching all of our videos, that’s so nice of you. We have had quite the adventure! Hard to believe we have been here so many months. Thanks for coming along with us.
The eucalyptus is useful for 'cleaning' your lungs or kind of. We make tea and also breath the vapour after boiling it in water. This has been used for years for any respiratory problems. Many people are nor certainly sure if that really helps with coronavirus but having a slow and inefficient health system, it's worth to give our traditional medicine a try.
Have been enjoying the bloopers. 😂 Good to see how happy Mr Potatoehead is. It's really beautiful where you at, I'd stay there if you feel safe. It's always upsetting to be stopped by the police. I pray that will be the last time. 🙏 If you feel like your emotions are all over the place during this pandemic. Please know that you are not alone. So, so many people are experiencing the same all over the place emotions. Stay safe, I love you guys, God bless. 😷💕🙏
Lindsay and Alex, with all my love and respect: I'm sure you won't ever be stopped by police if you always wear masks. Remember, it's not only for your sake, it's also for everyone else to feel safe, it's a sign of respect. Much love for you two ❤
Pisac or Ollotaytambo are great places to hold up in nature... Better than Cusco buuuut. Ollotaytambo is close to more sites you might be able to get to explore in the sacred valley. Machu Picchu is also hikable. Maybe you could meangle you way to do that.
Hi guys, you should go to Calca, it's around 25 min driving from pisac, calca has more hiking trails than pisac and it's also a beautiful town, bigger than pisac, you can practice kayaking too.
hello guys, I dont know if the lockdown has end in Ayacucho but i definetly recomend going there. Beatifull area that also has incas ruins. love your videos, specially the ones with popatohead!
Yes, it's kind of imminent for all of us to go back to lockdown, it was quite predictable since people just don't understand the real magnitude of this whole thing, and stopped being careful enough for numbers not to rise significantly. It's a real shame. Anywho... it's great to see you in freedom in nature! For that reason, probably your best bet for the new lockdown would be Pisac, specially since they already know you guys (won't shut you out) and you may find some groceries, which in other towns you might not find easily during lockdown. In Cusco, you may find many things available, but lockdown will definitely be a lot more "confining". It's important for you guys to have access, not only to groceries, but also to an ATM where you can get money from. Does Pisac have that option? It was quite a shock to see Potato Head on a leash... It's understandable why Roberto was doing it, but nevertheless it shocked me a bit to see him on a leash. He seems happy, playful and calm which is enough for all of us who learned to care for him. Regarding police stopping you. Lindsay and Alex, with all my love and respect: I'm sure you won't ever be stopped by police if you always wear masks. Remember, it's not only for your sake, it's also for everyone else to feel safe, it's a sign of respect. Much love for you two ❤
My husband is from Ahuac, Peru. We visited last October, very beautiful. They do have ruins there as well as lakes. We are awaiting reopening of the borders to visit again. Did you have to use altitude medication?
You should take the food to eat at your place, and keep your maks on if there are other people around 😟 quarantine in Perú is staying at home for the most time possible so, please stay safe
the hostel looks rather cosy. the plaza centre in Pisac looks a little similar to Cuzco. a large abundance of fruit all over. The German Shepherd dogs are sweet.
Janis Griffin, that would be the Salinera de Maras which is in the sacred Valley not too far from Urubamba ! There are tons of hiking opportunities there and the salt mine itself is very impressive, but Maras the village itself is very small and probably has nothing outside of a handful of chicherias and maybe a piquanteria.
In some peruvian houses, When people have lungs problems, they burn eucalipto and the people breath.. also the eucalipto can drink as a tea. Saludos and visit Ollantaytambo..
Nationwide, virus spread increased to 25% again (from 17% last month). Probably you guys better stay in Urubamba or Pisac instead of Cusco city for the following couple of months (just stay away from big cities for safety), since small towns are less crowded and more open air.
There are a few places on the Pacific up north by the Ecuadorian border which are beautiful and dirty cheap. Since you are already in the country see if you can get up north Punta Sal etc.... Not sure how the transportation system is up and running but I remember the buses being simple, long but simple! Guys, thanks for sharing your adventure my GF and I were supposed to be in Argentina back in April if we were allowed in I had looked at long term Airbnb also in case we got stuck also! I applaud you guys for your ability and passion for travel and sharing!
Sacred Valley (Urubamba river valley) is the best place to stay now. Next to Pisac in the valley are Calca, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo towns. Urubamba is biggest, Pisac is turistic becouse the incas market and the incas ruins, Ollantaytambo is more turistic becouse has a train station to MachuPicchu and has an incas ruins. But all are nice andean incas towns. Another adventage, weather is warmer than Cusco city becouse Sacred Valley has less altitud. Nice trip and adventure!
They are called moto taxis. Very affordable and they are everywhere. They can take you pretty much anywhere a taxi can’t. Happy to see you guys are doing good and still enjoying Peru ☺️.
Guys if you are wondering where else to go besides Lima, and Cuzco. Arequipa or Huaraz are great options there tons of things to do and places that you guys can visit.
Hi guys, on my next trip to Peru, I am going to visit Cuzco, it is a shame to be from Peru and do not know that beautiful city. Kind regards from Milano Italy

Hi guys, you should go to Calca, it's around 25 min driving from pisac, calca has more hiking trails than pisac and it's also a beautiful town, bigger than pisac, you can practice kayaking too.
Guys looks like you having the time of your life.!! Beautiful.!
Thank you!! 🙏
Hermoso todo saludos cordiales desde Perú
Stay safe you guys
Thank you ❤️
Uhmm dont worry .. Here we have not .. Guns In our minimarkets like USA ..
Hi Alex and Lyndsay, Oyantaitambo its a good choice; Getting closer to Machu Pichu, it has a train station and very nice !!! ruins. Take care !
The tuck tuck is called mototaxi, I lived in Piura, Sullana and traveled in them, I left Peru in '91.
I am in Ecuador, they boil the leaves where I live. The vapor floats around the house. It smells nice.
Yes 👍🏻
You might want to go to Trujillo. It has beautiful beaches. Also Arequipa is a nice place.
hello guys, I dont know if the lockdown has end in Ayacucho but i definetly recomend going there. Beatifull area that also has incas ruins. love your videos, specially the ones with popatohead!
Congrats on your 10K subscribers! 😃
Thank you, we are so excited and grateful!
Much love for you two ❤
We really like your share. Did you find which is the safer place to be in Peru, because we have friends there. Stay safe
Perú , I can not travel to Cusco yet but watching you jornal, I am feeling my town in every step you go
You should go to Ollantaytambo, it’s amazing! The only problem would be if there are restaurants opened, who knows, the Pizzerias are “muy buenas”!
Good you tried the hot bathtub. Nice way to relax and enjoy the view.
The Salt Mines right outside of Cusco is kinda neat.
Sadly, they are closed
Q&A: are you guys down for trying Ayahuasca aka MDT? There are some retreats in Cuzco or the Jungle.
Great video you two
Make sure you check out hospedaje ínti, place is awesome
There are a few places on the Pacific up north by the Ecuadorian border which are beautiful and dirty cheap. Since you are already in the country see if you can get up north Punta Sal etc....
Not sure how the transportation system is up and running but I remember the buses being simple, long but simple! Guys, thanks for sharing your adventure my GF and I were supposed to be in Argentina back in April if we were allowed in I had looked at long term Airbnb also in case we got stuck also! I applaud you guys for your ability and passion for travel and sharing!
Hi guys the tuck tuck is call "Moto Taxi"
Thank you
Sacred Valley (Urubamba river valley) is the best place to stay now.
We love them! They make life and getting around so much easier
Guys if you are wondering where else to go besides Lima, and Cuzco. Arequipa or Huaraz are great options there tons of things to do and places that you guys can visit.
NICE video as always nice to see POTATOE HEAD and relax guys everything will be fine keep enjoying!!!
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Gotta say, I love bloopers. That is some funny-ass shyt!!
Haha thank you!
Hi guys, on my next trip to Peru, I am going to visit Cuzco, it is a shame to be from Peru and do not know that beautiful city. Kind regards from Milano Italy
We hope you love it!
Is it safe travel to Peru yet? I've had a trip in the queue for years. From Kansas, Thanks!
