Gemini Orbitars Forward Shot and Ninja Palm Neutral Shot in Kid Icarus Uprising. Both have obscene homing even without homing boosts, in addition to other factors to make things worse.
Hulks Heavy Gamma Charge in Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is one of the most broken moves in a fighting game MvCI Meta? Zoning, big beam zoning that combos if canceled from character swapping or super or gems. The strongest characters have enough stalling to character swap, and keep the pressure going. So zoning is important Then we have this busted move, Gamma Charge; which does the following 1. Full Screen, like all charging attacks. Negative on block, right? Not this move. 2. Safe on Block, It has a follow up in which Hulk charges in the air, and close to landing can cross you up for a full combo. This is obviously NOT intentional, because most follow up attacks such as a rekka performed quickly put you in auto guard, press a button and nothing happens. Not this move, press anything and you're punished for a full combo. Note as well, Anti-Air attacks don't work in this game because it's incomplete and offensive based. And you can't fight him back in the air because he already has so much advantage. Advance Guard so he is pushed back? That means you can't punish him. The next reason is the offender as to why you would be annoyed to do so. 3. Hyper Armor. What is Hyper Armor? armor attacks in a game absorb 1 hit, and leave exposure to the next hit. Focus Attack in Ultra Street Fighter 4 is a perfect example. Well Hyper Armor, absorbs EVERY HIT until the move ends. These moves in fighting games are always very strong. But this is a different level. It can absorb LITERALLY EVERYTHING, even supers. Hugo in USF4 has a hyper Armor charge too! Except it is death on block, and can be reacted to even if you throw a move out! And yes, Hulks air follow up also has armor. This is why I mentioned the zoning meta, you can't zone him AT ALL. So, we have a full screen charge that has hyper Armor, and is safe on block because it has a follow up (he can choose to read the air charge block and command throw), and it ends in a 50/50 by himself. This is all without the assistance of your second character, where the game will explode. So... How do you counter this move? 4. Back jump normal attack. There is one move this move doesn't absorb, and it is pressing a button at the correct time, during a back jump. He still absorbs airborne special attacks, don't expect Zero (a top tier for instant mixups) to do anything. Forward jumping puts you too close even if he is at the back of the stage. And the back jump has to be a read, reacting to the startup is unbelievably hard. And guess what? Even if you jumped at the perfect frame, there is a chance the second character is alive where he is still unpunished because he swapped! The games in this list are from the late 90's where gaming was going through experiments to figure out what worked. Are the moves in this video stronger? Yeah, Hulk can't infinite. However, This game released in 2017, where a move like this should NEVER exist. The best part about all of this, was Hulk wasn't considered meta. Because no one wanted to experiment with this awful game.
Not sure if any smash moves quite make the list, but I’d love to see my favorite series get some representation. Maybe a “most misleading hitboxes?”. Some that come to mind right away are sm64 Kirby u-tilt and ssbb snake f-tilt (or u-tilt). These moves have a hitbox at least 2.5-3x what would seem appropriate for the characters animation and I’m sure that there would be many other competitors too it. Great video as always!
For clarity on Petshop in case it didn't make sense to some: The icicle has to be blocked based on where it is, as if it were it's own character. Basically, you'd have to be able to block both left and right at the same time. Urien's Aegis Reflector has something similar in 3rd Strike.
The funny thing is, Petshop's unblockable is not unique to him. But what makes him notorious with it is because his setup is way too easy to do, no meter and no nothing. I'm an ultra noob with below the lowest skill, struggles to catch people with Urien and Vice's unblockable, but 10 minutes in, i'm already able to do Petshop's unblockable.
Whenever my friend picked Flanders I could only beat him with Homer. His special after eating cookies receives a speed boost and dodging the lightning is easier.
The fun thing about pet shop is that pet shop was banned from as early as 2007 if im remembering correctly. Now you're thinking that's a long time after the game came out so of course they'd know the meta well. No. JoJo was a COMPLETELY different game meta-wise back then. So what I'mm saying is that before the game was even truly explored he was banned. He was SO OP that they literally just TOUCHED HIM and he was banned.

Minor Corrections on the petshop section: 1. Icicles usually won't crossup in neutral, putting it behind the opponent won't cause a crossup, there are setups for it but it's pretty much useless when petshop can setup unblockables instead. 2. Mashing out against petshop is an arguably viable option as shop has TERRIBLE startup and active frames on his normals, most chars can beat out his buttons easily 3. Petshop players almost never do actual TODs(and even if they try they aren't guaranteed), his normal TOD combos are pretty difficult even for a hftf char and are prone to getting dropped by the games infinite prevention system, what's more common is his meterless knockdown into unblockable oki, which works a bit like a 50/50 since it can be guard canceled out of. Thank you for not doing the "He's broken because he can fly!", and good job pointing out the fact he can charge icicles on block, it's one of the biggest things people will gloss over. Awesome video 👍
There's another move that is absolutely insane Abobo's Earthquake super from Double Dragon (Neo Geo) The way that the move usually works it's that he bulks the fuck up, and slams his fists onto the ground 3 times, all 3 ground punches creating an earthquake effect, so it hits standing enemies 3 times, but crouching enemies are unaffected. So you must be thinking "It's just an earthquake kind of super move, just jump or crouch and you're safe". And normally, you'd be right. But lemme tell you the problems with this move First off, the game's dizzy mechanics. Unlike most fighting games, this game has 2 different dizzy types. The standing dizzy, which works just like your standard fighting game dizzy, triggered by normals or attacks that don't knock down; and the grounded dizzy. Triggered by grabs and attacks that knock down. it causes the enemy to stay in a knocked down state for a longer time, and from there, you can do the game's universal pursuit attack, which is the only way to hit an opponent in such a state....But Abobo just doesn't give a shit about that. His Earthquake super is the only move in the entire game aside from the universal pursuit attack that can OTG. Meaning, if you're fighting Abobo, he has a super ready, and he ground dizzies you, you're gonna eat a whole super for free. And since Abobo is a grappler who deals lots of damage pretty fast, it's all too easy for him to get you in such a state if he gets the chance Oh, and if you're thinking "Well, then I'll just jump attack him if he tries to do it", don't. So, the move has a little startup, yes, but if he's slamming the ground, don't even think of getting close to him, because each time he slams the ground, an energy shockwaves comes out of his fists and surrounds him. Meaning, these shockwaves will hit you out of the air if you're close enough. Oh, and said energy shockwaves also negate most projectiles

Ultra Fight Da! Kyanta 2's mascot, Kinoko, should be a really bad character, which I can't emphasize enough. She has no neutral, reversal, ground options, and is one of the game's most predictable and difficult characters. She's the only character that has no bonus from taunting. If she gets anti-aired it's over. She also has a super (Shroom Ambush) that deals 120 damage, which is enough to kill the average character if they're in a trio. When that isn't enough, she can combo from AND into it to essentially guarantee a touch of death. So, whenever she's in a fight, a single mistake immediately ends the player that makes it. If an enemy can't anti-air, she can just use j.A to Mario stomp them to death, since she can use it infinitely before landing as long as she hits her opponent. If you just want to mess around, her other super makes rocks fall for about 7 seconds, which damage both players and persist between rounds if Kinoko is still alive. If anyone gets hit by a red rock, they just die instantly.

what about brawl meta knight tornado it could be used in every situation and some characters didn't have any move that beat it
Ned Flanders is basically Ed Gruberman. God smites his enemies with his smitter.
i was expecting just one part where it just tuned to the dude saying vergil in umvc3
Hard to beat God cheating for you
Ah yes my favorite competitive fighting game, the simpsons wrestling
Kaz and heihachi are both considered better in Tekken 1 then king
Which is saying something
Wind god fist was mid that could death combo you
Giving Flanders a rez is absolutely hilarious
Nedlewis Flanderson
I mean, if you want to talk about good moves on bad characters, there's Smash 4 Ganon up smash lol
Thanks for the vid
If you use cheat code in Simpsons wrestling. Make the gauge bar unlimited then chaos follows. Me and my bestfriend spam the hell on Neds god lighting over and over lol
In Sailor moon S Sailor mars' super does more damage on block than on hit, and sailor Uranus's command grab can be dash cancelled into itself
I would love to see y’all’s take on the best fighting game character of all time. In good games.
Awesome video
Tekken 4 Jin's Laser Scraper was cheap and broken.
That one takes execution to pull off consistently. I believe the moves mentioned here are piss easy to do.
It's only justice that Ned is the best. So funny, why am I seeing this video just now?
6:44 😂😂😂😂😂
+93 is the funniest thing I've heard in my life
We need brawl mk up air and shuttle loop and spiral swords and helm breaker from umvc3
Ok but what about Happy Chaos' GUN. Or Elphelt's GUN. Or Xrd Johnny's... sword.
You forgot Steve Fox infinite combo in T5
Another one im not sure you hear of
Imortal attack in power rangers, full ahield which deals damagw and you can stilk move
BROTATO MUSIC LETS GO
Pre nerf android 21 lab coat 236hs, command grab that permanently make opponents character deal small damage. The most broken move in modern fighting games.
Fox shine should make it to the next one
Voldos ground squirm from soul Calibur
They probably told em to "change it from +9 to +3 when blocked" homie just concatenated the strings to 93😂. And thought hmm fair and balanced as King should be.
3:09 among us
JMCroft mentioned.
Ned flander on the thumbnail 💀
FLANDERRR
why is this in the Among Us cathegory 💀
The dumpster was batman’s prep time
Love vids like these, more pls?
3:45 AND REUSABLE?!
what was that dbfz clip and where can i watch it
Arashi 3p from Jingi storm
What about LC debuff?
I mean King's move was in Tekken 1 so expect it to be op.
4:13
Was that Motley Crue?
@@i_fuze_hostages6.... that's the wrong Stand??
unbreakable
among us?!
Doomsday stomp inj1
Laser annihilator from T4? Freaker jab? Just a footnote about infinite combos in Tekken 4?
How did foxes shine not make it into this lol
It's not even his best move
NOT NED FLANDERS HAHAHAHAHA
Nothing was worse than deathstroke in the 1st dc fighting game. Spam gun intil they get close then sword spam. Disgusting
These are banned from tourneys right?
not all
dumpy is an OP character even tho its not a character XD
probably not due to it's reputation as a garbage game but I wonder if there's any documentation on simpsons wrestling that'd explain things like how many times Ned can rez and whatnot
Ned Flanders made Mr Burns and Kang n Kodos Look like chumps... I used Bumblebee man for his combos till I used Flanders then well the rest was history lol
Great🍾 🌼😄
