- I visited the woodland bushcraft moss-roof stealth camp for an overnighter with my dog. I took my sleeping bag / axe / knife / saw / deer hides and a couple of cooking pots. The idea was to finish the door by covering it in moss, forage for a wild tea and then cook up some tasty food. I can honestly say this was one of the tastiest meals I've ever eaten in the woods. My dog Amber joined me for the 2 days and...well...you'll see what she got up to!

oh ffs people he clearly said at the start of past videos when hes telling us what he had got for him self to cook..... dog food as well 🙄 the dog is clearly looked after loved well fed and full of energy. 🐕🥰
Exactly. Anyone commenting otherwise is proving they can't tell what a healthy and happy dog looks like and admitting they feed theirs when it begs, rather than caring for it properly. Over-feeding a dog regularly will make it unhealthy and is just as cruel to it's long-term health as beating it would be to it's body and mental health! So to anyone commenting such drivel, if in doubt, go see a respectable vet and get your dog weighed, then take their advice when they tell you it's overweight because, based on such comments, there's a good chance it is.

I loved the 26 min mark when your dog was napping after her dinner while you got wood shes very good understanding that camp area= HOME
It's so obvious that Amber is well fed, well taken care of, and super loved. She adores him, a testament to how well he treats her. I cracked up laughing at her hijinks...she's a crazy doggo! Truly enjoy watching, and I learn stuff, too. 😊

Great video Dustin and I'm glad I'm not the only one with a Labrador who'd rather sleep on me than in her own bed. Totally adorable dogs and you can see Amber is well looked after. Don't listen to the trolls, they're never happy unless they're winding people up.
I have never been to the woods before. Sometimes I wonder if I can survive a day in the woods doing things you do, but I'll never know. It's always lovely to see you and Amber enjoying your little excursions and having fun at them. Stay safe and take care.

We have three lab mixes. When I want them to come inside, I open the door and yell, "Cookie! Cookie! Cookie!" - because that's what we call their treats and it's the only call that will get them to come in.
They'll do anything for food. And then they want more...and more...and more!

Yes! My dog gets the zoomy's also!😂😂😂 he's a standard long hair dog son and he goes crazy just like that especially after he eats or goes potty. It is absolutely glorious to see how Amber is so attached to you. Labs are known for their good dispositions, but she acts as she does because you have showered her with love and attention.

Medium rare on the steak please, extra garlic in the prawns, and maybe the cookie shop was Mrs. Fields. Been to Kissimmee many times having lived in Florida almost all my life. Long before Disney World was even thought of. I have to go bake some fudge brownies now because I don't have any cookie fixings.

The dogs love to play! Must make a big difference in the bush. The food was amazing and just how simple prep is what people do not get. The subs are picking up. I have a 15 year old black lab, Miss Lily Langtry, she needs a lift assist down the three stairs that lead out to the dog pen but still catches snow balls and she eats like a bloody pig! Like so many elders she has developed selective hearing. She can’t hear me call her name when it’s time to come in, but comes running like a crazy puppy when hearing the crunchy sound of a packet of cookies being opened 20 feet away. Just found your channel and subscribed. For 7 years I lived off grid in a Yurt in Big Sur Ca. Watching your videos brings back lots of great memories! Thanks for creating a great place to escape to during these uncertain times.

Zoooomies in the woods!!! I actually had to watch that whole bit with Amber 3 times and now my cheeks hurt! Lol. Dogs are such goofballs sometimes and I don't know what I would do without my furbaby and his daily antics!

I've got a Golden Retriever (Ollie) and Lab x Kelpie (Tillie) and they both get in that crazy mood, especially before bed time!
My bichons use to do ‘crazy dog’ when they were younger. Now not so much. Anybody that knows anything about dogs can tell by looking at Amber that she is healthy and well fed and not starving!!!

Last time I cooked a meal on an open fire it was southern fried chicken and potato slices with cut greenbeans and red&yellow peppers with fried cornbread DELICIOUS- the memory brings back good times

Great video Dustin, those prawns and cookies looked super tasty. I live in West Australia and just can’t imagine camping in the snow brrr!! It was bad enough camping with my scouts during winter with out the snow! Amber is just gorgeous, I loved her crazy dog zoomies 💜 I have a kelpie who loves camping too and is handy during winter coz he likes to snuggle to keep warm. 💜💜🇦🇺

As I watch this lovely video, my 2 dogs (1 golden retriever/beagle, 1 might be part Belgian shepard) and 1 cat (claiming to be feral, but comes on walkies), and I are all lying on the single bed wishing we had cookies! They'll get down to lie on the cool pad if we overheat, but we all prefer to sleep close!
Used to live near Kissimmee, FL, but back in my hometown, New Orleans. Pretty warm, already in March, for all that fur, but the Love...❣️

LOL with the dog eating her dinner and people saying she is starving's when she is not. I will have to try pine needle tea. At the moment my favourite drink is 2 teaspoons of honey, a couple of squirts of lemon juice from a fresh lemon, and add hot water. Lovely. I learned a lesson tonight not to oil the pan when it comes to sirloin steak, which I pick up from home bargains for £3.00 a lovely treat.
My dad's dog does that same crazy running back and forth for like a minute straight when you clap your hands 🤣🤣🤣
