How to test a regulator rectifier (RR unit) of motorcycle with multimeter (pulsar 150)

- One tip when your are testing the regulator rectifier , don't test it immediately after use on motorcycle as the circuit will be heated up and diode readings might not come between the limits .
It happens with me , when i buy my new RR unit it shows reading above 500 (0.5 vol) in normal temperature , but when i was making video the room temperature was high and my readings got reduced to 485 (0.48) which is still in limit , but it may happen with you so be aware of this situation.

yes , but if you just want to use dc for headlight purposes then you can achieve that without using dc rr unit , video on that is available on channel

Ache tarike se explain kiya..meri b pulsar 150 hai old model....par charging check karne k liye multimetre ko battery se connect kiya to sirf 3 ya 4 volt dikha raha hai....magnet coil naya fit kiya hai....rr unit b naya hai....
engine running mai battery pai lead laga ke check karo , agar volts 14 to 15 hai phir battery kharab hogi

@@harshalbhoir469 agar battery new hai to kese 3 se 4 volt dikha raha hai ?? tab to battery volt 12 to milti , aap wiring bhi check kare or headlight ka kya bo ache se jal rahi hai ya nahi , or aapki bike ug2 hi hai analog meter bali ??
@@SAIREPAIR hua aise k charging problem tha to maine nayi battery daal di...vo time 12 v dikha raha tha...par bike start kare to 14 v dikhana chahiye vo nahi dikha kabi b...fir kuch din baad battery utar gayi...isliye ab sirf 3 ya 4 v dikha raha hai...raise kare to jyada se jyada 6 volt dikh jata hai....aur meri gadi 2003 ki purani pulsar hai gol headlight wali....

Mera pulsar 150 bs2 model ka. Headlight ,meter, indicator, horn nahi chalraha hai. Do din tak kabhi kabhar kam kar raha tha. Apke hisab se maine check kia rr unit ko koi reading nahi aa rahi hai .

Bhai mujhe maximum 3.5 volts mil raha hain bina battery ke.....kya mera regular thik Hain????

Meri Activa ki battery charge nahi ho rahi to maine rectifire check kiya , usme white wire AC input hai aur red battery ko jata hai charging keliye DC
To mai jab rectifire ko nikal ke separate uske pins check karta hu jaise white jis pin pe aata hai uss pin ko meter ka +ve aur red ko (-ve) lagata hu to 1650 reading aati hai continuity mai forward bias mai , aur reverse mai koi reading nahi aati , muje lagta 1650 reading bahot hai to kya yeh rectifire kharab samje kya?

@@SAIREPAIR brother I replaced magnet coil and when I check voltage it is 13-14.60 and when I remove positive wire of battery and check it is 2-4 volts ..is there any problem
