They're all going off lease for now awaiting a new TOC.
Good news is that the class 317's take over the Stansted Express services again so if you want a bit of extra classic traction before the 317's go to scrap now is your chance.
Soon they'll be replaced by the class 720/745 fleet unfortunately.

So that’s why most of my local trains have been class 720s. What company will they go to? Also you said class 317s will be on the Stansted Express services, aren’t they worked by class 745s?

True, but on the GEML, most of them are 720s coupled together. But on the WAML, they have only ever been 5 cars, meaning we our services have reduced carriage numbers from 8 to 5
