My wife makes your hollandaise just about every week. With the upgrade of the yolk I fear she may never eat anything else again... Not that that's a bad thing, can't wait to try it!
Seeing how easy it is to make vegan versions of classic foods it’s upsetting to see how many restaurants still don’t have vegan options beyond avocado toast or grilled vegetables
Because a lot of animal and animal byproducts are subsidized on the production side, so if you're trying to keep the amount of unique ingredients you buy low, AND one version is cheaper? You're buying whats cheaper even if you lose a fair amount of customers to gut problems and allergens.
Omg! Clicked the recipe for the egg, not even knowing there'd be a yolk part to it... this is the SIMPLEST vegan egg recipe I've ever seen! And I can imagine it being perfect stand in for poached! WOW!
This is the second video you posted in a month where I dreamed of a particular food i never even want, but wanted it in my dream - then you post it the following day. Last one was fish filet which (again) never uttered those words of wanting before. Either you and I are connected on a soul level or this world is a complete simulation.
Nice! I’m becoming increasingly purist about ingredients so was cringing at the oil, vegan butter, etc in the egg yolk and sauce. I’m still glad this exists, it looks amazing, but I’d like to try make a healthier version.
Wow what a great presentation... Wouldn't this be nice to get up to on Easter morning and have this presented to you... Yum🐰🥕 thank you for a wonderful recipe. I love this... what a clever idea!!!
Yo. You are such an asset to the Vegan movement!! A level 5!?!? Confession, I haven't made this yet, but it looks so absolutely delicious and based on everything else you've done, will likely be just as amazing! Keep up the excellent work, Thee Burger Dude!
You should check out Doesn't Taste Like Chicken's dipping egg sauce. It's so simple. Just a couple of ingredients (and not so much oil) and it tastes and looks EXACTLY like yolk. No tomato in hers. And no MSG. I've been making it for years. I think she was the first. Lovely Benedict idea! I'll be making it.
Perfect egg yolk right here: Vegan Egg Yolk for dipping and simple * 1 cup water * 1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon cornstarch * 2 tablespoons light oil (such as canola or vegetable) * 2 teaspoon nutritional yeast * 3/4 teaspoon black salt (also called kala namak) * 1/4 teaspoon turmeric Instructions 1. In a small pot, whisk together the water and cornstarch. Now stir in all of the remaining ingredients. Put over medium-high heat and whisk while it cooks. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes until the dipping sauce thickens. Serve hot with strips of buttered toast and a crack of pepper.
Nice job, TheeBurgerDude! You make me laugh when you mention the vegan law for nutritional yeast 😂. I love breakfast sammies, too, so YAY!, thanks for reminding me to make some.
what about using soft tofu? or even medium? i feel like the tofu cake to seasoning ratio is too vast? unless that dressing is seasoned to the 9s is it a good bite?
Do Just eggs actually taste close to real eggs for you, or anyone in the comments? I tried making them recently and I was absolutely disgusted by the taste. I mean truly vile. I'm not sure if I completely screwed cooking them up somehow or if they are just NOTHING like real eggs??
The first time I tried them they were awful but now I think they are similar. I think the first bottle I bought might've gotten warm or expired. I dont think they are as accurate as most vegan meats are, but they are close enough for me.
Cashew nuts available are not raw, they are produced by roasting. Raw cashews nuts are also available, only in season where they are grown, and are very expensive.
I'm just curious original hollandaise is vinegar butter egg yolks lemon. I just dont understand why we are adding nutritional yeast and turmeric etc. I want a vegan hollandaise that mimics the taste of the original not some weird mash up.
They all say nonsense things to justify their desire to eat animal flesh, but the one thing I admire is how they can eat that poisonous food without getting sick, sometimes when I eat something from an omnivore restaurant I get sick because of the cross contamination. So maybe they were never honestly vegan.
My wife makes your hollandaise just about every week. With the upgrade of the yolk I fear she may never eat anything else again... Not that that's a bad thing, can't wait to try it!
hahah I love that! I honestly loved the combo of the yolk and hollandaise so I think she'll dig it too!!
Seeing how easy it is to make vegan versions of classic foods it’s upsetting to see how many restaurants still don’t have vegan options beyond avocado toast or grilled vegetables
I know it's such complete absolute horseshit it's bananas
It's not that easy compared to regular foods.
Except the egg yolk is literally 90% fat blended and has next to no nutritional value. I'll be eating normal food thanks.
@@MajorKittenXIV then why are you here if you don't eat vegan foods?

This is awesome!!! My money is on a soul connection 😝
This is delicious. I'm planning on making it again on the 26th, with leftover vegan ham from Christmas.
“I’m a level 5 vegan” 😂 love it!
Add two spoons of nutritional yeast "as by law" 😂😂😂
Finally made the sauce and it was fantastic! Really appreciate all the creative recipes and videos. Thank you!!
Awesome! Glad you liked it! Thank you!
Looks super delicious, perfect for a weekend brunch or breakfast if you’re feeling extra fancy. Thanks Brian!
It’s tough to make recipes delicious, simple, and fun to eat. Great work.
I NEEEEEEED To make this!! NEED to
Thanks dude!!
You’re back! And it was worth the wait!!!!! Looks sooooooo good!!!! Thanks dude!!
The way I've never even had eggs Benedict because I was also so picky but i would definitely try this. The egg yolk sauce is very intriguing.
Just in time for easter weekend brunch!!
We love a good vegan eggs benny. This looks like a really great recipe. We'll definitely try it! Thanks!💚🌱
You’re like a mad scientist and I love it

I am interested to see if you created an oil free version some how?
I've never had an egg benedict before but this looks so good!
Wow what a great presentation... Wouldn't this be nice to get up to on Easter morning and have this presented to you... Yum🐰🥕 thank you for a wonderful recipe. I love this... what a clever idea!!!
Magic
Savory
Glitter
hee hee hee brilliant 🤣
I've always to try eggs benedict but didn't know how to before i became vegan. So glad there is a recipe for this! ❤
Thank you for this!!!!!! 🙏
You can also use silken tofu, if you have issues with cashews 😊
I love your videos, they make me hungry lol!!
Bless you🙋🏾♀️🛐💟Happy Easter to you and your family ❤️

Bro you make my mouth water every time
If you get the chance, I’d like to see how you’d make a vegan burger dip. Thanks!
What's a Burger Dip??
@@TheeBurgerDude Basically, most of the components of a burger, but made to be eaten as a dip with chips.
OHHHH haha ok!

Looks so good! Such a creative idea
This is a non-vegan favourite of mine that I haven’t had since going vegan, I can’t wait to try
Nice job, TheeBurgerDude! You make me laugh when you mention the vegan law for nutritional yeast 😂. I love breakfast sammies, too, so YAY!, thanks for reminding me to make some.
Yay! I’m gonna try to make this tonight!
Benedicts for DINNER! Winning!
i love your enthusiasm! ❤😊
this is soooo great!!!!
😮😮😮 wow
i maybe think silken tofu has more similar texture? 😁
If you brine firm/extra firm silken tofu and then fry it up, it's very close to fried egg white (at least to me)
Thank you! 🙏
Found my Birthday Breakfast!
This looks SO good. Cant wait to make this.
oh wow, looks delicious! love the "level 5 vegan" comment 😂I too like the taste of tofu. I'm dying to go to fung on in nyc to try it fresh!
Always interesting to see vegan versions of food. I could never go vegan but will always support people that do.
The level 5 vegan comment made me literally spit my drink out. Thank you for making such high quality recipes
And I spoon the cold yolk sauce into the hole if I don't like runny eggs? 😄
Looks delicious!
nooch is not law, be loving is the law amen
😂 Sir Burger Dude. What is a level 5 vegan🤔. Love the vids and especially your colorful narration 🥰
I'm excited to make that yolk
That’s an awesome Benedict, Arnold! 😎
what about using soft tofu? or even medium? i feel like the tofu cake to seasoning ratio is too vast? unless that dressing is seasoned to the 9s is it a good bite?
Dude, let's GOOOOOOOO!
Are there any egg ready to cook vegan use if there I'm gonna go buy now I love your videos man keep making vegan constant love it#guiltfree
❤😊Can you freeze the sauce?
Hmm I’m not sure I’d need to test before I can suggest doing that!
cant wait to try. i used to ❤❤❤ these! stopped eating eggs before going strictly vegan, wierdly they started smelling like death to me.
I am also a level 5 vegan😻
💜
Do Just eggs actually taste close to real eggs for you, or anyone in the comments? I tried making them recently and I was absolutely disgusted by the taste. I mean truly vile. I'm not sure if I completely screwed cooking them up somehow or if they are just NOTHING like real eggs??
I think they taste pretty close to me. I made a Just Egg and Beyond breakfast sausage bagel sandwich this morning.
The first time I tried them they were awful but now I think they are similar. I think the first bottle I bought might've gotten warm or expired. I dont think they are as accurate as most vegan meats are, but they are close enough for me.
I was so surprised to see how easy it is to make vegan hollandaise sauce. Non vegan ones are soo complicated
Level 5 vegan haha. Simpsons reference.
Tonut is.... something....
Lvl 5 vegan 😤😤
Have you tried Yo Egg yet?
Hmm... how would I get my hands on one of their products? Would you say that it tastes good?
Level five, eh? Do you pocket mulch?
Egzotick butter
Love the recipe! Anyway we can get the nutritional facts on it?
I don't eat soy. But man that egg yolk looks good
Doesn't ketchup cancel out mustard?
I had chicken eggs Benny before I went vegan!
Cashew nuts available are not raw, they are produced by roasting.
Raw cashews nuts are also available, only in season where they are grown, and are very expensive.
You're not a level 5 vegan, that food obviously casts a shadow, and yet you eat it.
Level 6 is no shadow foods. I’m too weak for that 👍🏼
@@TheeBurgerDude me too. I'm too iron deficient, protein deficient, and vitamin deficient to ascend past level 2. Rip soyboy me.
I'm just curious original hollandaise is vinegar butter egg yolks lemon. I just dont understand why we are adding nutritional yeast and turmeric etc. I want a vegan hollandaise that mimics the taste of the original not some weird mash up.
Because we need something to replace the yolk.

So maybe they were never honestly vegan.
I have tried a lot (A LOT) of hollandaise recipes, and I don't like any of them.
Same. I find vegan recipes always add in a crap load of ingredients that you wouldn't use in an original hollandaise.
From looking at the ingrediants, I bet it doesn't taste like eggs(I hate the taste of real eggs but love the taste of vegan scrambled eggs).
Black salt does the job. It's sulfuric, just like normal eggs
Just eat an egg.
No
Looks very good! But 30 minutes is kinda long for breakfast 😢
Anyone got advice on how to make the Hollandaise sauce for the lucky vegans out there with nut allergies 😅
I, too, don't eat anything that casts a shadow. Let's show each other our pocket mulch piles! ;p
