@@DwAboutItManFr No problem! Here I am for a quick recap! Supergiants decided to tweak the original genealogy a bit so to make it less incestuous that in actual Greek Mythology: 1- For starters; Demeter is no longer a sister to Hades and the other sons and daughters of Cronus and Rea, instead she's daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Theia, making her Hades's cousin and sister to Helios, Selene and Eos (the embodiments of Sun, Moon and Dawn); a fitting choice considering how Demeter is related to the concept of Seasons which are inextricably linked to the Sun and the Moon cycles since ancient times. 2- Unlike in all possible versions of actual mythology; Persephone is not the daughter of Zeus (or Poseidon like some less notorious versions suggest) but instead her father was a mortal man that eventually died. Persephone even says that she realized she was closer to her mother's side when she saw how she remained young while her father grew old. This is also the explanation given in the game for the fact that Zagreus bleeds red (cause gods bleed ichor which is not red, but the colour is never specified) So basically Zagreus is 3/4 a god while his mother is a deified demigod (which is a thing that has a precedent in Greek Mythology which makes it not an issue in my book, Heracles and Dionysus are deified demigods after all)
@@timesup4200 ahhhh I retract, I just went back to confirm and yeah, just immortal and gained permission to bang a god but with no godly responsibilities. I'm sure Disney's version of Hades is even more pissed at that
I love how narrator, after who knows how many endings, finally just gives up and flat out tells zagreus to go look at something else.
Achilles: why the fuck is he talking to a statue
If they ever include Heracles as a boss/npc it'll be interesting to see his interactions with Cerberus
DLC where you try to climb Olympus and test its defenses.
That would be nice. I for some reason imagine Hera being the last boss

Zagreus talking to the statue reminds me of the scene where Mushu tries to awaken the Great Stone Dragon from Mulan
I wonder if the narrator is supposed to be Homer.
I think so, yes
Oh, so the poet statue is Homer! I finally get it now!

Going back here cause Hades 2 confirmed it is Homer
The narrator in this is an mvp.
Not Achilles briefly laughing in the background every time he starts talking to a statue 😭

Well, Zagreus is not really a demigod, more like a 3/4 god.
but in this game both persephone and hades are gods no? shouldn’t that make him a full god

huh, i cant tell if they adapted hercules as just another hero, and not a god
He was never a god
Heracles became a god, that is the special arrangement they're talking about I think, he went to Olympus and married Hebe, goddess of Youth

How did you get the big Heracles staute?
Found the answer. You have to buy everything in the Great Hall, then the Hercules Statue and a Fountain unlocks. 1500 & 3000 gems.
