I think your ailing pump has run some of the very fine magnetic sands thru the unit over time. They cause havoc in pump's bearings from my understanding. It would be like magnetic sandpapering them while running. I like the new unit, it has potential.

I think the main problem with your pump is that you are recirculating gritty water. Try making a cage out of chicken wire and pack it with your filter medium. Put the pump inside the cage and there should be much less grit that makes it into the pump. You are on the pay streak there at the lake. Good to see how much of it you can capture in just a day.

7:27 just a quick question! Did you ever clean your tailings in that bucket to see if you lost any gold that you didn’t catch since that mat is so short. The longer the sluce the more gold, put you probably already knew that lol
Well done Jason. 👍What a cool water pump design. Think you can get just the micro matt for it for clean ups. Would lik to see it on the beach catching all the fine stuff. Just watch there's no air bubbles in the cells or the gold will run right through the sluice n out the end.👍

Hello from Alaska! I found a way to git a little bit of internet here 120 miles NE of Fairbanks. First thing I had to to do was get the latest episode of FGW! That lake looks so calm and inviting. Looks like ya'll crushed it again! Great video my friend. Alaska looks just like the trip in the UP to the beach, Cedar swamps birch trees and Moose poop everywhere. The only difference is the mosquitos here are way bigger and there is a bunch of them. Great agate, great clean out, great video.

pretty sure you are crazy but there's still gold in them there beaches. That little system would be great for spot hunting when every ounce of weight counts.

That's a splendid result 👍 I couldn't help but notice Rigbones stylish collar with the blue band inlay in it? And wondered was there any GPS trickery in it? Not that Rigby is going to stray far from where the gold is at. But gold sniffing dogs are precious he might need a bodyguard if he keeps getting you results like that!

Hello from Alaska! I found a way to git a little bit of internet here 120 miles NE of Fairbanks. First thing I had to to do was get the latest episode of FGW! That lake looks so calm and inviting. Looks like ya'll crushed it again! Great video my friend. Alaska looks just like the trip in the UP to the beach, Cedar swamps birch trees and Moose poop everywhere. The only difference is the mosquitos here are way bigger and there is a bunch of them. Great agate, great clean out, great video.
