@@JustDeano If youre ever down here in the SouthWest Torquay/Paignton you have to give the Ocean Wild Fishbar a try, it's the best cod in the entire bay. I never go anywhere else for my cod, amazing portion, and utterly incredible tasting, honestly try it if youre ever down here!
If you ever are down here I'll take you to the place, and theres a decent pub over the road for a beer after!! hahaha

I live in Scarborough I wouldn't have thought this "chippy" was the best but appreciate you couldn't try them all. Hope you had a good experience in our lovely corner of England.

I do like the color of the fish and chips and the batter sounded nice a crisp. The peas looked a natural color with no additives to give them that neon green. For the price and portion I would give it a 10/10.
£9 sounds great for fish n chips, mushy peas & curry sauce in Scarborough... I paid £13.50 for it in Whitby... Looks amazing that fish does 👍 Im definitely going to try the Anchor when Im next in Scarborough with kids, maybe in a few weeks.. Thanks for sharing 😊

What chip shop chips by hand ! I worked in a chip shop about 50 years ago and we used a machine.

Proper memories goin on 'ere. Scarborough will always be home for me, no matter where I am. 1988-1996 I was there, through Kinderland, Mr Marvels', Atlantis, etc. Even though it's different, it's the same. (I was even on the spot when Holbeck Hall went off the cliff, as my sister's best friend lived opposite)

9 quid for fish n chips in a seaside town isnt really not that bad at all im shocked! My local chip hoose round the corner charges that for their ecoli offering they call fish n chips so winner there and its tasty to boot! Whats the crac,is scraborough really competetive or something?
What camera are you using? The quality is brilliant. EDIT Ok I take that back unless you are using two different cameras.
Banging them chips . The fish looks pretty decent . Sound deano . U have probably looked at my critical messages but I say it how it is.. just watched the chunk of fish dropped out .. that's what I'm talking about proper chunks of fish not sloppy Pollock fish sold as cod
