This Bait Was The Right Choice (Shore Fishing With Pinfish)

  • My goal for this trip was to catch keeper Mangrove Snapper. I started out fishing with shrimp, but the baitfish were overwhelming. I decided to switch my tactic and catch some pinfish to use for bait because live shrimp are too expensive to keep buying. As you'll see in this video I made the right choice.

I enjoy watching a realistic video where you are not necessarily catching a fish every thirty seconds. Of course who doesn't love when the bite is on and you are getting slammd with fish every 30 seconds? I appreciate that you keep it real, so thank you for that.

Great question, but not an easy one to answer. I've actually tried out five different ebikes and I really like them all, crazy answer right. Choosing one depends on your needs and physical size. I think the 26" ebikes ride smoother than the 20", but the 20" are foldable. If you're tall, consider the 26" ebikes. Some have different distances that they will travel on one battery charge, some have 500W motors and others have 750W motors. Some ebikes have what's called Torque Assist (Hovsco), these operate very smooth when they provide electric power when pedaling or using straight electric. Ebikes that don't have Torque Assist are very zippy and a bit jerky when the electric power kicks in (making them not as safe as the ones with Torque Assist).
This one is an excellent ride and has a great travel distance 26" Hovsco Hovalpha: bit.ly/3lYaVOj
Only one I've tried has the GPS tracking and theft protection built-in, it's foldable (suites my travel needs well), has blinkers and a horn, comes with fenders and rear rack. This is the one I'd choose if I had to pick one in the 20" class. HeyBike Tyson

Where I fish in North Carolina shrimp are not a good summer bait because of all the shorts and trash fish, so I fish with Pinfish, craps, fish bites, and artificials until fall. I like that bike and helmet. I've been looking for a bike helmet with a lot of ventilation and a good sun visor. I notice that you have really good bike lanes there.

Hey JC how you doing? I didn't actually watch the video yet, but I had a question for you about something that you had previously put out. I may have more questions when I finish the video but I just wanted to make sure I got this question out to you first. The e-bike that you have talked about on different videos, do you wear some kind of fishing gear backpack while you're going to your different locations on the e-bike? If so, do you recommend anything in particular? That seems to be the only thing keeping me from going out on a bike to the various places I have around here, but there are so many places to go fishing with so many little places to park, and that's why I think using a bike would be great. Just was wondering if you could give me any ideas some of the other subscribers might actually feel the same way and this will be something that they could benefit from as well.

Hopefully you'll answer this also. Is it a specific kind of backpack like meant specifically for fishing, and if so, what particular backpack do you use. I've seen a whole lot of them listed on Google and starting from as low as $12.99 going all the way up to a couple hundred dollars! I think I'd just want something basic, any specific recommendations?
