Starting at just $199, this product offers exceptional value. It's refreshing to see a company genuinely focused on creating products for people to enjoy, rather than exploiting its users with high prices under the pretense of innovation. This company stands out by prioritizing user satisfaction and delivering true value, setting a new standard in the industry.

Carnt wait for mine to turn up iv pre ordered 8gb model im really hopeing this device works a dream my Samsung s21 will not work with the glasses because my charge port on phone is faulty so im looking to use the beam pro instead of borrowing my sons phone all the time to watch movies whilst he's at school 😂😂
Love the glasses I use them whilst walking my dog and watch movies at the same time ,playing the rog, steam deck and whenever my kids want to watch the TV during the day I just leave them to it I just use my air pro 2 by far my favourite gadget purchase out of the last few years tbh, maybe one day il be able to get my hands on the ultra to try them out.
Im really interested to see if a certain emulator that's been under scrutiny recently will work on the beam pro 😆

Great! I just got my Beam Pro but I'm a little disappointed that my Air Lights have been EOL'd so I'm trying to decide what to do next. Wishing I could target my Linux SBC with Unity and OpenXR.
Just so you know, interjecting "you know..." is a public speaking faux pas. Trying to avoid having to cringe watching future presentations.

Also need rayban meta like camera and ability to use AI library of your choice like llama Claude or openai. Then its perfect for mass adoption. I could ditch the ipads and external monitor and use my phone way less than i am using now.

As cool as Beam Pro is I think XREAL shouldn't have gone in that direction. By their own logic if there are 3 types of devices, AI, AR, XR 3:36, then why are you adding on another device to AR glasses for the price of a Quest, XR device. Bring support for iPhones spacial camera capturing the new iPhones already do and refine your app experience for all the users you already have

You didn´t listen well to that part of the presentation ... the cameras on the iphone do not have the natural distance between each lens like we humans have our eyes for the best stereoscopic effect on videos and photos ( normally between 50mm to 70mm ) .
So they chose to make it as natural as possible ( 50 mm distance btween the lenses and they took two identical cameras 50 megapixel , which you don´t have on the iphone )
Also your proposal would only offer the spatial functions to iphone owners .. what about all the android based phone owners ? Those are potential customers too !
In my opinion they designed a perfect product ... no battery drain on your mobile phone while using the glasses is an excellent choise .. you can even charge your phone with this device while using the glasses, your phone and the beam pro at the same time ! ! !

The iPhone pros do fake 3D recording. The iPhone is also not even anywhere near capable of NebulaOS or VisionOS for Apple. The touchscreen is your trackpad and pointer when you have the glasses on. This is not a phone, it’s your personal spatial computer

So in fact you want to force me to buy an iPhone????? At what price? 1000$? The Beam Pro is first of all NOT a phone, but a media device and the lenses are much better situated than those of an iPhone. I'm seriously considering buying the Beam Pro, but as long as it is pre-order (that's what I understand it is) I won't yet. But it is on my wishlist.

imho I think the XREAL AR Glasses are kind of a joke and a waste of money, using a old cheap parlor trick by using peppers ghost effect by reflecting a image/object/display on to a angled piece of reflective glass(other see through material) and saying that the XREAL are NEW and innovative, when it really isn't..... Why not apply Tech that is already out there that is new and innovative like Wave Guide displays? Wave Guide you can make a thinner/lighter/all-n-one stand alone device or connected wirelessly to a phone with a built in battery and have a closer form factor of normal glasses, instead of being tethered to a device w/ a USB C Cable. Connected to a phone wirelessly and have it do all the computing(or majority of it) via Bluetooth or some other form of wireless connectivity, combined w/ a power efficient processor to cut down battery usage and using similar components of like a smartwatch and putting it into a AR Glasses form factor using a Wave Guide display.

And in my opinion your proposal is not realistic ... the company made the right choise .. if you do not like it , don´t buy it !
People who travel a lot or have long pauses between work sessions love to watch movies during free time .. this beam pro device closes the gap and offers additional battery power and 6 DOF tracking for ALL smartphone owners and does the computing for the spatial apps ... it is absolutely perfect

I like how people are still comparing this to a smartphone. A smart phone that isn’t capable of doing half of the things his product is offering. For 3D capturing for one, The iPhone pros do fake 3D recording. The iPhone is also not even anywhere near capable of NebulaOS, just like an iPad or iPhone couldn’t begin to emulate the power of VisionOS for Apple. The touchscreen is your trackpad and pointer when you have the glasses on. This is not a phone, it’s your personal spatial computer. Two very different products that share similar eco systems of apps.

@@tapetwo7115 It is just a phone made for glasses. This is a phone running Android that has, better placement for spatial recording (iPhone isn't "fake" 3D btw), better ports for charging (2 ports to power glasses and to charge the phone). Nebula has little capability so far.
You are just drinking the koolaid. The beam pro is still interesting, but is just a boutique phone at the end of the day.
