Though our adventures don’t include activities like skydiving, skiing, or paragliding, we got a pretty good idea of what we would like to do the next time we visit. For me, I’m thinking I'll take the plunge and try bungee jumping! What is your favourite Queenstown adventure?
This video, as always, is remarkables! Love the gondola shots, man. You were always obsessed with your gondola. You would take it to school or even downtown for Taco Tuesdays. Love the mountain shots, too, and the festival looked very fun! 10 out of 10 donkeys!
Glad to hear it! I try and keep the videos engaging and not drag on for too long on certain parts but I’ll do my best to make them a bit longer! Cheers 🍻 😃
Those chips looked the goods. There is a great view of the Remarkables from the Pac n Save car park, best Super Market backdrop on the planet I reckon.
I just came from Queenstown and back in Auckland now. The Aussies are the main clients for tourism in Queenstown It nice to go QT for a break when one needs it
Ah yeah that makes sense. It sure sounded like a lot of Aucklanders tend to get away to Queenstown which is so great. Next time I hope it’s not so busy but that might be a tall order!
Well that took me back to my days living there. When I first lived there Fergs was a little hole in the wall down Cow Lane, which only the locals really knew about. Great for that 2 or 3am feed on the way home. The food was way better then. If you don't want to spend $52pp on the gondola there is a walking track up Bob's Peak. Just be sure to stay off the mountain bike tracks. As for activities.... I managed 6 bungee jumps, 2 paraglider and a skydive!! I'd Paraglide any day over bungee jumping. Just try to get on a warmish day for more thermal activity.
Oh very cool! I could only imagine the crowds there after 1am… Sounds like you got to do a lot of cool stuff there! Even after 6 bungee jumps you would recommend paragliding over that… interesting… I appreciate your insight! 🙏😃
I did know that actually because I was checking out the dark sky reserve building in Tekapo. I've heard it's a fantastic experience. As for the the Southern hemisphere having a better view of the milky way, I can totally agree. I open the shutter on my camera for like 10 seconds and it's constantly mind blowing to me just how much you can see. Honestly it's one of my favourite parts of being down here haha
Hi how are you I got 2 questions my 1st question is what camera you use and my second question is what is you most favourite beer? This may take a little thinking.
I use the Sony A7IV (Great photo & video camera) and my favourite beer style is a West Coast IPA! As for my favourite specific beer it's a hazy IPA named Super Saturation brewed by Cabin Brewing in Calgary, AB, Canada (Owners are from New Zealand). Thank you for your questions and comments, Bailey!

Not gonna lie I got a little excited knowing this was over 15 min long…… great video Donovan!
Same here. Big fan of the longer videos!

Now I'm even more excited to go to Queenstown next year. Hope you get some good weather when you're in Wellington.....and some good beers too.
So glad you enjoyed it, Christine! Yes me too, I’m sure the beers will be good at the very least! 🍻😃

Hahaha yeah you are probably right. That’s funny.
Luge. No brainer. Get a few rides so you can start racing each other. Total blast for such a harmless ride.
Nice!! It did look like fun despite the long lineups. We should have done a few rides 🍻

Donovan did you know Tekapo is a UNESCO Dark Sky Reserve? And the southern hemisphere has a better view of the milkyway.
