    At the 1:00 mark, the slowing of the rollers goes right along with the music.

    Thats awesome. I've got an 05 outback XT I've been building. Just got an Accessport and Accesstuner after the class. Built a forged block, stock heads but I rebuilt them and sculpted the cylinder dome areas removing 1-2 cc's in the process. Rotated Holset HE221W though I welded the internal shut and added an external wastegate. I fabbed my own turbo back stainless exhaust 3" no restrictions except some exhaust valves I added after each muffler.
    At the moment chasing the cause of what an Accessport gauge shows me is an AVCS intake LH angle value reporting just 0 while the right shows me values. I believe it's the passenger side cam angle sensor signal to the ECU. My brown secondary connector on the engine harness melted against the turbo years ago. So in my current build I modified the engine harness to extend the throttle connector and extend/ rebuild this brown connector for the knock, crank and cams. I believe it's all good, but finding the cause sucks.
    Bought ID 1050X injectors. Haven't opened them. One tuner in Portland, OR where I am said FIC's like you have is there second choice. Many though are telling me it's ID or bust. ID's are speedy though. Do you have any fuel economy or idle roughness issues with your 2050 FIC's? I really wanted to go flex fuel too, but the tune costs an extra $300 and there's only 1 place in the Portland metro area to buy E85 and it's not economical either so I'm sadly starting to throw away my flex fuel ambitions. I just want to build an awesome daily driver. I want smooth power and anything over 400 WHP. I may end up switching turbo's but I want to see how this HE221 goes. It's an evolution of the latest after td05's.
    So yea, curious on anything you may have to add for me.

      So that code can be a few things. Could be the avcs solenoid, the cam sensor, or a locked up cam sprocket. Sounds like a good build. For 400hp id look at an FP blue or something. My silver wagon that I have some videos on is going to be about that power and I'm going water/meth injection on it for a boost in power. The car idled fine when it was on e85 but on pump gas only it was really hard to keep the AFRs in check.

      @@robinsontanner1234 I'm wondering if it can't be the AVCS solenoids. I saw I can put up on the AP OCV L and R. I was told they don't activate till 140°F and those gauges both showed the same fixed unchanging number which I believe was 9.4. I can run the engine just a few seconds in this way. Enough to get certain gauge readings. Doesn't completely rule out the AVCS solenoids, but me thinks. I also cleaned them real good and tested their resistance and powered function before the build and again today.
      I might try to build a secondary engine harness that is just the sensors connected to that brown connector.. Knock, crank and cam sensors. Throttle too I guess. Though I might skip that. I thought my passenger side AVCS oil feed line got too kinked but I took it off and breathed through it (Out only ;-) ) and it has great flow despite what looks like kinks. No screens. 12mm oil pump. My Intake gears.. 1 could definitely have an issue. I can't rule that out. Just would be very unfortunate. I have to redo my timing anyway since my modified water pump is cracked, leaking and getting replaced with a non-turbo version... Only reason I have to redo my timing. Unless I decide to further increase my oil pressure relief preload (haven't connected an oil pressure gauge yet...) or to dreadedly remove and rebuild intake gears. I was just seeing a custom out front way of rebuilding them with concentric reinstallation bolt down... Made me realize I should test the gears rotation on a cam hand to hand before ever installing an AVCS gear in the future. Make sure it's motion feels good.
      Seems like I should still be getting a reading for that AVCS In LH gauge though and that that's related to the ECU not getting a signal from the passenger side cam position sensor. If the gear or the solenoid had an issue, I feel like I should still get A reading on this. I'm also confused despite my best efforts at which side exactly it is, but I'm pretty sure from pulling sensor plugs that it's the passenger side. Replacing that sensor is not trivial.

      Did you get this beast running and sorted?

    • @vgnfab
      @vgnfab 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes! Quite a lot has change. I body swapped to an 08. Did the auto to 6 speed swap on that. ECU is modded by dime. Passes emissions but has all advanced tubing features. It’s a compound turbo now. Fuel system is super beefy w all custom stainless hard lines and a dual pump setup.
      I’m 6-8” wider w bmw wheels and the biggest custom brakes.
      I’ve been doing some etuning w a remote friend that hasn’t been the best but it’s alright. It would probably win hill climb races.
      Lately I’ve gotten into my new old used duramax, skid steer, rv and 52 klb excavator. Many diesel engines now. Gotta develop land and contend w city extortion development before I can build a nice garage and do more car builds.

      @vgnfab dude, that is so awesome! I gotta see it! I love having a 6 speed. Im about to go with a stand alone and bigger turbo and shoot for 750 ish hp. We will see.
      I literally know nothing about diesels.
      My garage is my shop. I could build a building on the side but I am not terribly committed to living in this house that long to make it worth doing. Gov bs is the death of a lot of fun.

    Would you ever sell the wagon? If so how much?

    • @robinsontanner1234
      @robinsontanner1234  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Man I dont know! I want to finish it first but no clue what a built wagon is worth. What you think it would sell for?

    transmission , suspension and diferencial stock?

    • @robinsontanner1234
      @robinsontanner1234  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are out of a 6 speed JDM Forester STI. Which is similar to the STI 6 Speed. So it swapped the differential to a R180 from an R160. Stock Suspension.
