The bad with the good. It's all part of it. Chanel your frustration. Accept your safe decisions, and don't head bash yourself. All the best. Noho haumaru
Good afternoon mate,.sorry it's Been a minute just in my hometown atm after me mum had a stroke so haven't had lots of time to sit and watch alot online. Hope you have an amazing week ahead. And this was a gorgeous bit it scenery even the tracks flowing in water lol. The kea's are cool my Step dad has told so many storys of them from his youthful days.
Good decision, I hear yah, Blue Lake hut is a bottle neck. By Tait hut, I’d lost the skin due to a blister popping over one entire heal. I’d have to leave an hour earlier and arrive an hour later than my hiking buddies each day. Looking forward to seeing the pass
@@freedom_on_the_trail I think we discussed the ties I cut with the friend that put his wants above my 4 day painful ordeal. At bush edge hut on our last night a hutter pushed me to sanitise the raw flesh before it became septic, a beautiful route but very painful. Seems your feet are coping well 👍
Thanks for the updates Kurt! We're also starting to plan for a Kerwin get together later this year - any more specifics on when you may be back in our neck of the woods?
Miserable for you but amazing to see for us. That water adds an amazing new look flowing on the trail. And the views!!
The views definitely help mitigate the misery. 😂

I didn’t remember that you did that. I should have asked your advice.

So far so good. A couple of beach sand blisters early on, but all good now
