Great video series, hopefully more to come. Could have done with some commentary though.

thank you, have just uploaded part 10 :) yeah, spoken commentary would have been more entertaining, but this is just the way that I am used to edit the videos, and it would be hard to fit in commentary with this style of editing, the videos would become even longer

Greatly entertaining as usual. Just a few questions: what camera are you using? The quality is really good, as are your photographic and editing skills. Also, I note that you often choose to wear some kind of sandals when crossing rivers. Presumably you like dry feet! What do you recommend in terms of sandals?
Hope you continue to progress well.

Thank you for your compliments ✨ I used Olympus om-d M10 ii in most of my previous videos and until Auckland on TA, and then switched to mark iv as the old one broke 😌 and on rainy days my Google pixel 6a in a waterproof case
Yeah, I used Bedrock sandals to keep my shoes dry and prevent blisters, I would do it the same way again even though I realised that trail runners dry quickly too, at least in sunny weather ✨ I loved using them on the beaches too, so I could walk with my feet in the sea 🌊 it just takes time to get used to the sandals, in the beginning I could only use them for a few km a day, otherwise the rubbing would have caused damage. Towards the end of the trail I was able to walk 25km in them without issues, even on technical terrain ☺️ some people apparently manage to walk entire thru-hikes in those sandals
I think I was a bit slower when wearing sandals, and I think it's good to get minimalist sandals with few straps as they can cause skin irritation, I didn't enjoy teva sandals that much for that reason
