Bought this RC for my birthday, took it to a RC bash session with some local hobby friends, and this truck absolutely stole the show by backflipping non-stop with ease. At the end of the day the only damage I had was the ESC cooling fan
Love that you kept everything (other than the driveshafts) stock! If you watch some of these reviews they’ve already changed the ESC, motor, servos, hubs etc…! It doesn’t allow someone who might want to buy the truck a good idea of what might break or how durable the truck really is! M2C parts are not cheap and if I were to replace broken parts I want to know if the stock parts are all I need! It also makes the truck seem like it needs those parts to compete with other brands that claim to be more durable! Especially from all the Arrma haters! Great video as usual! You never let me down!
The servo. I love my Arrma vehicles, and no offense meant to you, but maybe you don't remember what a good servo feels like. I'm a cheap bastard, I'm not talking about buying a $70-$100+ servo. The stock s652 19 kilo servo in the Kraton 6s BLX is not powerful enough to move a tiny mouse turd. I don't know if the EXB version comes with a radically different servo, but a $30 Power Hobby 190mg servo felt twice as fast and stronger than that s652 stock servo. Once again, not trying to dis you or make fun, but after my second Arrma vehicle (Felony) I realized that any time I buy an Arrma vehicle, it is imperative to include a new servo in the budgeting. Once again, I'm not the kinda person who would spend $$$ on a servo, I'm sure a triple digit servo would feel great, though I am a cheap bastard, I have come to the realization that no stock servo will make me feel warm and fuzzy inside, and $30 isn't much extra to make a $700 truck feel so much better to drive. I hope that your servo is magical and doesn't break within the first year, but I predict a dire future for any Spektrum servos, out of the box they are doomed to a short painful life. More power to you if your Speccy servo has a long and enjoyable life, but you really should give yourself a aftermarket servo, it feels so good, I even have naughty dreams about servos, the kind of dreams I have to go to confession afterwards, and wear the hair shirt for penitence. A new servo is the best cheap upgrade for any RTR, as long as you don't buy a Reefs servo or anything ludicrous, it won't break the bank. I just can't feel satisfaction from stock servos, and I know it's not snobbery, because my servo was only $30, and you can barely buy any aftermarket parts for that cheap. Buy a new servo. If you're losing your hair, the servo will help. Buy a new servo, if your wife is leaving you, it will bring her back. Buy a new servo, if you have ED, you'll get a priapism instead. I think Traxxas may pay some of these stores to carry them exclusively or maybe it's just my local shop. They have maybe 2 different Arrma trucks they sell with just a couple parts. Then every Traxxas car with every part you could ever need. Either I buy it online or drive an hour if I need it now. Irritating to say the least.
We have a local small store with not much space and Traxxas forced the owner to either stock up with Traxxas cars and parts or they will terminate his right to even sell Traxxas parts or trucks. We told him to get in touch with arrma instead, but it’s sad since we drive Traxxas trucks too. Dick move from Traxxas
My LHS guys give me honest thoughts and opinions based on Frontline experiences. If I want one or the other, they respect it. But I walk-around ND point out what I like and they give me unbiased, wrench based opinions. On everything. Some Arrmas are good and some Traxxas cars are not so good. Life 101. 6S, I prefer the Kraton, 8S, prefer the XRT as gar as TRUGGIES. Mass doesn't have an equal as far as MONSTER TRUCKS! On road is a toss up and the Felony is preferred but the Xo1 is great. I'm a RC fan, couldn't care less who makes it, if I like it, I buy it
DEFINITELY! It'd be awesome to see a race version (it'd have to go on a SERIOUS diet to make it keep up in the corners and either needs more motor or more aggressive gearing along with maybe more timing so it'll be able to keep up with or pass the competition.. since the Kprimarilmade as a basher the bracings will need to be made out of plastic, to be optional [since it has 7075 aluminum both for the towers and chassis plate.. milling rhe chassis out for lower cg and less weight along with all the braces but keyed and made out of composite would probably be fine but keep the plate thick.. also would be best to probably convert to a power system that uses 4s power better since u can't use 6s at most tracks unless they don't follow ROAR rules])

Can it actually go 65 mph or eh?
Yep with speed pinion and some nice batteries
@@magnusstone no but does it actually go 65 mph out of box and without adding anything?
@@dijsjsjdjshsjjsjd6025 if you just put in batteries and run I believe it goes low 50s, but there is a speed pinion in the box
interested in hearing your thoughts
Good to hear from ya, missed seeing your videos for a bit there, hope all is well!

Yessss 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Idk my LhS has both Horizon and Traxxas but they don’t really like Arrmas they push traxxas on newbies
I'm a RC fan, couldn't care less who makes it, if I like it, I buy it
Arrma needs to make a “TLR Tuned”Kraton 6s on the next version
Dam, really?
Siiiiiiick
nothing like sending an RC 30 feet into the air and then complaining about a bent driveshaft...lol
Pretty amazing what trucks nowadays are capable of.
I would say with the Sledge you get better value and plus this is coming from someone who's had terrible experience with Arrma
That’s a joke right??Traxxas is the most overpriced junk in rc..can’t believe people still support them to be honest.
@@GamezOfWarwell then explain to me why arrma is better if you have to replace almost every part for them to be durable you don't have to do that with Traxxas
@@Brayrfd1192which parts are you replacing on this new EXB V2? Looks like it only needs a couple things.
@@magnusstone you shouldn't have to replace a chassis after a few runs which is a huge red flag in my opinion
@@GamezOfWaragree Traxxas I go to 2 hobby shops that's what you see 6 minimum on the bench and didn't run long then all the shiny crap I dropped $1000 in upgrades alone to later sell it bought Traxxas before along with my brother can say arrma listens and learns the first Traxxas doesn't they drop some flash body colors and some cheap parts don't address the problems esc and servos have always been bad esc is down right crap at best not if it's when it will fail and it's a simple esc.
Did you really cut that lady off at the gate? BOO!!
