I'll be honest, the moment I saw Chara with the star in his nickname in one of Dude's first Splat 3 skirmish vids he appears in I was already suspecting a new team, since I already followed CLIMB before that. Come the LastResort announcement and I was IMMEDIATELY on the hype for the team

I now aspire to be Havoc. Dude is just super chill and supportive for his team, but also has his own anxieties that he’s worked on overcoming for said team and for himself. That’s just really cool for me.
This is great to actually get to know players, so many insights! I didn't realize the video length because of how entertaining it was 😅😅

The 20mins were mostly pauses, corrections, interruptions, me actually telling the questions and so on
Yo you are contributing to splatoon with this series more than you might think. A scene gets so much richer when people can get to know the top players, I mean look at smash (more specifically melee)
As someone who is somewhat invested in the comp scene for splatoon i love this series! It's nice to get to know the players and their personalities instead of just seeing them play in tournaments then... well, that's about it. Majority knows chara but the unsung hero comp players is so interesting too. LOVE IT KEEP IT UP Toyoben! thank you for your hard work!

This was so fun to watch! It's really motivational too, I'm trying to get into comp Splat as well and hearing these guys talk about how they started out made me realize that this is something that I could do too!

I'm a Wiper main and yeah I gotta agree we share two braincells and that is liking maps that other people despise because it's funny and camping a jump spot with a charged slash 😂
i dont know why but havoc has always been my fav on this team (used to be just because he played slosher) but now seeing him in a more personality veiw point he seems like a pretty cool guy

As a Smite Masters (Chang'e main), League of Legends (Sona rank #56 player), and VGC Pokemon player... Splatoon is a fun way to faced these pro players. I faced Char 2 times with my Flingza 5 star main...1 win and 1 lose. Props for the pros in Splatoon community.
A little unrelated idea but wouldn't it be cool if Splatoon made a way for Competitive Splatoon Champions to be sort of canon in the in-game universe? Like League Of Legends skinlines based off their champions or with Pokemon where the Battle League (I think?) had the champion of 2016 Wolfie Glick's team as an in-game battle! These guys would be cool to see and maybe they could even be an in-game fight! Where they would use their championship weapons as well as their usual playstyle! Just a neat thought. Really fun interview to watch!

I think this is an amazing idea! We need to be introduced to teams and players more, if you can do these interviews with teams it will be amazing for the scene I think :)
During the mid resort section (example 17:00) what was that song being used? I remember this on perhaps the 3DS, but can’t remember from where. I really love those tunes Nintendo uses in menus and such. I can’t wait to hear more of that stuff from the same composers.

Just an idea but you should do this with more teams not just at the super top level but in towards mid and low level to really contrast the different mentalities of the different levels and how different it can be

If I was doing this fulltime, maybe. Right now I'm focusing on high and top level bc those are also the parts of competitive that I'm part of and that I'm interested in :)

hey can you also make some tutorial vids on SLAYER type weapons... I use every single weapon that is purchasable except splattershot vanilla (I use hero shot). but yeah, I am trash in close range. for long range weapons, 20 kills 30 kills no problem (especially e litre 4k my best weapon that achieved 41 kills in it), but yeah I am struggling in all types of slayer weapons except luna/normal blaster. I suck in clash blaster too
anyways how did I glitch and take no damage from a booyah bomb by just spam pressing all buttons when I am literally inside the booyah bomb💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

Does anyone know what happened to havoc I haven’t seen him in any of last resorts posts or scrims or when their in tournaments I miss him he was cool and funny
He stopped playing competitively about 2 months ago. I don't remember the exact reasons but I think he just didn't have the time anymore
