Could you elaborate more on that storyline in regards to Anna Angel's backstory? I've seen so many references to her being evil but no explanation for what she did.
There is very little information in Pathologic 2 and only snippets in Pathologic 1. The old Pathologic website has some text docs that provide worldbuilding for the game's setting, one of them explains the Diamond Ace Caravan. The circus would travel to different towns kidnapping children and forcing to become acrobats, clowns and prostitutes. Anna Angel confesses that she was part of this racket. The authorities eventually caught up to the caravan and many of its participants were sentenced to death. Anna evaded arrest by hiding in the Town-on-Gorkhon. She was adopted by The Willows family, one of the town's most prominent families. Over the years, the owners of the house mysteriously died off and Anna now claims ownership of the house. Some suspect her of murdering the previous owners, others have accused her of impersonating Vera, a member of The Willows family. I personally believe Anna has been driven to insanity from her abusive childhood and the guilt of her past crimes. By the way in first pathologic when *SPOILER WARNING* Artemy jumps in a hole and "dies" you choose who to sacrifise instead of you. So these "shadows" of their owners have interesting dialogue and they cant lie (they say so). If you speak to shadow of anna angel and ask if she was from caravan, she will say that it's not true. She will explain that it was just the rumor that folks created and she was too proud of herself to deny the rumors . Basicly its the most puzlling character for me to figure out what the hell is she.
I love anna and I love love love this voice!! She has a slight accent but you cant exactly place where she might be from, which fits since she grew up in a travelling caravan and likely heard a lot of different accents. She sort of sounds like she’s incredibly on edge and afraid all the time but tries her best to hide it by being mean and faking confidence. Her voice is so sing-songy and the way she strings together words is so careful and like it’s been rehearsed in the mirror. I relate a lot to her and sometimes i think i sound a bit like her haha
Media literacy is so dead free my girl. She was 12 years old when the caravan disbanded (18 during the events of the game, the caravan disbanded 6 years before), meaning she was even younger when she joined. Do any of you really blame a pre-teen who was kidnapped and forced to become a child prostitute for any of the things that happened? Shes not a “good person” but the way you all talk about her like she ever wanted a hand in the trafficking is actually sickening.

When the circus was disbanded, she moved to the town and lived with a family called the Willows, who soon died in a mysterious way. She is an expert manipulator who has no conscience and whos only worry is that people realise who she really is. Also, there is a quest in the game where she "rescues" babies and gives them to people who turn them into a cure.
@@AZ-wo9hq most character's in Pathologic a given somewhat of a grey area in their morality. Saburov is a despot but his priority is the survival of the town; Big Vlad is a cruel boss to the kin but he loved his deceased wife and cares deeply for his family. Kain's are weirdos but they seem to strive at some utopian ideal. Anna on the other hand has no redeeming quality to her, at least not one that was revealed thus far in games.
@@Srksius2802 Reading through design documents and the wiki and what not, they say that she's beloved by most of the people she comes in contact with and has a real talent for entertaining, to the point of being nearly as enchanting as a mistress. They may be balancing her out by giving her all of those inherent gifts but also being a despicable person.

Could you explain why she is evil? I just discovered this game and I see this type of comment about Anna from many different people.
